Kai nodded to Kealyn. all of the elves were out of the city and the queen had escaped to a safer place. he hopped on Kairi's back behined Kealyn, still holding tightly to Katia.

Eragon hoped on last. once he did Kairi flew up.

[Back and hey all]
Jason watched them as Black demonic energy struck Kairis back with the people on,Jason watched this and jumped up and grabbed the stone from her grasp;Just after he came back to the ground the Maledictium started glowing a sickly purple color"Its coming.....i was too late......"Jason said with sadness in his voice and he dropped the stone and disappeared.About 3 seconds after he dropped the stone it started expanding until it was a large boulder that was sickly green and purple color,as earthquakes started making massive Fissures in the ground the maledictium remained still and untouched by the horror around it;the skys turned a deathly black color and the ground turned blacky brown color,More massive spikes erupted from the ground impaling any one unfortunate to be in the way.Homes caught on fire,the elves started killing each other in a blood like frenzy as the stone just sat there unmoved....

Kealyn staggered to get up. She tried to run to Kairi but fell. Eragon caught her and said "easy, you two don't have to do it alone."
Kairi got up but her legs wobbled until she got back to her senses. Kealyn, remember what the ancients said, 'the stone will only serve you even when it's cracked the monster sure serve you, Kairi said calmly
Kealyn got up then fell again, this time she was caught be Eragon in his wolf forum. "I'll take you Kairi is to weak to fly after that hint. You two coming?"

Kai was about to answer when Katia's eyes suddenly flashed open and she began flayling her arms and legs for some reason. Kai accidentally dropped her and she fell on her rear end. she stood up quickly. "i saw..." she was breathing heavily, "i saw-i saw-!!!!" she could not finish her sentence.

they all looked in the direction of where she looked. "Lets go" Eragon said tensely. And he started to run with Kealyn on him back.

"we cant stay here," Katia said looking directly at Kai, "change me back. now." Kai nodded his head solomnly and changed her back into a centaur. he then hopped on her back and she took off following Eragon.
