Damon is going to keep complaining every time it's brought up until it's resolved. That's, like, how he works, man.

They're fun, not commonly used. I was amazed Cameron didn't use them instead of straight daggers.
But I can't play a winged character with them, at least, not using one as a primary weapon.
Honestly, I view Kukuri's as more of a secondary weapon than a primary. To dual wield together or to use with a larger slashing weapon like a one handed axe or a curved sword with a medium weight behind it.

I don't approve of curved swords.

Vin. Commission. Alan Meadia. He looks like Duo Maxwell after his balls dropped. That metal arm is supposed to be a clawed gauntlet.

I don't approve of curved penises, but we all deal with what we get, right? mrgreen
Seriously speaking though, curved blades come with advantages and disadvantages.
Lack of reach is one of the most promiant ones, unless you're dealing with Katana. Lack of an apt piercing point too. But it's great at length of cut and redistributing attack weight up close, which really sells it for a character like Alan.

Ok, I'm done.
As for the kukri....It's wonderful for close combat, as it's a capable slashing/hacking/thrusting weapon. It's smaller size allows for it to be useful against an unarmed opponent who might think himself god of speed and grappling.
*Shrug*
The forward curve allows for your blocking of another weapon and gaining some control of it as well.
Finished Damon's fight....moving on to the next. x.x

Don't say Robin Williams. I know he's old, but let's keep hope he doesn't go too soon.

I've got my fingers crossed for Will Smith.
He's done some good, but it still hasn't made up for Fresh Prince.
Not in the slightest... stare

Walter Cronkite, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays -
It's a coincidence, but just an unfortunate sequence of them strung together with death.
