Nyl Phairen ((Yes'm.)) Nyl helped Fen out to a couch, leaving her there to sleep. She walked outside, standing on the top porch step. ~Reeve?~ She thought quietly, trying not to interrupt him. ~ Wh-what is it, Nyl?~

"What made you and the fox agree to cooperate?"
Please trust me on this Reeve, I'm going somewhere...

Nyl Phairen "What made you and the fox agree to cooperate?" Please trust me on this Reeve, I'm going somewhere...-Reeve gives his typical mirthless laugh, which gives way to a dispaired sigh- I made the deal with the devil because I want to protect Fen...and that fiend wants her to himself... I can't stand this, Nyl... I hate myself more everytime I see my reflection in her eyes...

"So, it is Fen." She took a deep breath, not really wanting to say it, but knowing it would be the only feasible thing they could do. "Reeve...could you do it again? Work together with your other half to...to project the idea that what you wish to do to Fen is...is far worse than what that demon might do?"
I shouldn't have asked him, he hates this...

You see, the whole reason he wants her because...because I did, once. Not in the way he does, but he sees it as a way to cause havok in my life..

"I don't mean for anything to actually happen." A light went on in Nyl's head. "I wasn't talking about your demon, Reeve. I was talking about the one who attacked last night." She turned to face him, meeting his eyes evenly. "Until we know how to get rid of it, we need some way to keep it from hurting her. I was asking for a facade from you, to keep Fen safe with us and out of his hands."

He...diplomacy to him in this case would be either A) Beat him to her and doing as he wishes, or B) ripping his head off, that it would.

*Many moons had passed since Aura entered the Kaze dojo or the academy itself. He pulled at his underlining shirt some to get some relief from the heat that was tighting around his throat. His white tiger katana still rested on his left side in samurai's fashion. He wasnt planning on changing that anytime soon. Last time he was here he had an encounter with his sister that sent him all across the country searching for her where abouts. His quest never did end. Rumors that she had died in battle were all he found. Nothing concerte however. He shook his head as he approached the main dojo. The wind was always nice around here, especially around the Kaze dojo. He adjusted his forhead protector some to get it perfect for entrance into his former home....Would he be welcomed again?*

"He doesn't need to agree if he can be made to believe this will all end in his favor. ...Decieving a fox probably isn't a good idea, though." Nyl sighed. "I guess it was worth a try. ...My other question...do you know anything...that might help a person sleep? Without dreaming?"

I can make a potion for you if you like... you'll just sleep REALLY heavily, that you will. It's a dumbed- down version of the sedative I have Sarya take. -He flinches at her name, given the recent events-

She took a step away from him at his choice of words, out of reflex. "...I...somehow I don't think so. I mean...I...I can't reconcile my instincts with that. I just...I wish I could sleep through a night."
She wasn't looking at him anymore. Instead, her eyes were on the ground, as though in shame.
