ElladanKenet I was thinking of starting a Star Wars RP here with more seedier aspects. Comments? Wow. You've really detailed out your desires so we all can know your approach. I wouldn't mind it, but 1) we barely RP in the other threads as they exist now (hint: emsquad) and 2) It'd have to be after Factions start...

Ral Roke Your not going to want stats for everyone are you? Not hardly. Most of us will be able to use characters we've already created. Just a new universe and scenario. Of course, if you don't have a seedy character, and want one anyway, then you might need one

I was thinking something along the lines of Forces of Corruption, but slightly smaller scale, and with two factions.
Timeline, I was thinking post Death Star II, or Legacy era.
Specifics, I was thinking two rival factions, on two rival planets, equally corrupt and powerful at first. We work our way up the ladder and try to extend our grip, despite ourselves, the Republic/GLF, and Imperials.
Most of the stuff would take place on individual planets, like Nar Shadaa, Bonadan, and Abregado Rae

... That's the most specific you can get? I don't want to shut down creativity, but EK, that needs a lot of work, just from the get-go.
Also, I think we need to consider a timeframe change. All we have are mostly post-endor RPs. Why not take this in a different direction.. say.. pre clone war?

Nelowulf ... That's the most specific you can get? I don't want to shut down creativity, but EK, that needs a lot of work, just from the get-go. Also, I think we need to consider a timeframe change. All we have are mostly post-endor RPs. Why not take this in a different direction.. say.. pre clone war? We could go with that. That'd have us working against Black Sun, mostly

No, you made a stab at an RP with nobody backing you up, and therefore it failed before it began.
Usually successful RPs require at least a good storyline (which was also lacking) and incentive to join to even get off the ground.
I would like, however, to get Emerald squadren over and finished with. That way, the only RP up and running is Legacy. With that being the case, everything becomes so much easier for Side RPs to take effect.
The problem is that the guild can barely maintain two simultaneous RPs. We need to finish off these older ones so we get fresh material..
