Bastarache heard a familiar voice... It was Susie, asking him a question. Her words had went through his head without being registered completely. He felt them break inside of his cerebrum. His bandaged fingers ran through the snow; they were freezing.

All he could do was to remain in that position with his dead eyes opened so wide that, the cold breeze entering them had caused his eyes to bleed. Bastarache couldn't move. Couldn't talk.

Jalie forced a smile, but it was hard as she heard the word baby. She was happy to see him, but she had to talk to him and she didn't know how well it would go over. She made a conscious desicion to forget about that for now and wrapped her arms around him, returning the kiss.
"Hello love."

Alef arched a brow at his sudden decision to leave her alone, but it didn't bother her. She turned walking in the opposite direction as she let her eyes rest on the ground infront of her.

Bastarache heard the words pass through his head. This time, he could register a Come on Blue... Please?. He inhaled a deep breath. It wasn't enough. He started to breath heavily, as fast as he could; there wasn't enough air, his lungs were shrinking.

Bastarache's hands started to shake as one of them held his throat, he was gasping for air, the entire world was spinning. The ground rose to meet his forehead. He felt the cold spread out numbness throughout his body. His bloodstained eyes turned around frantically, eventually spilling more blood out, as he tried to find something that wasn't spinning. His hand reached out for something to hold on to.

((jeez Blue, raven is gonna kill you when she gets back...lol...she's supposed to come over later...woot))

Jalie smiled at Dante. "No, nothing is wrong...I'm happier than I have been in a while...but...I have something to tell you." She took a deep breath and gave him a warm smile. When she had first found out it was exciting, but now she had to tell the man she loved.

'Please don't let him take it the wrong way,' she prayed silently.

"I'm..." she looked down. "I'm pregnant." She was about to go on, but it was hard for her to talk about it, so she stopped trying to work up the courage to go on.

Bastarache felt fingers gripping hold of his hand. He felt another hand in his palm. His bloodstained eyes turned to the owner of the hand as he continued to choke. He could feel something climbing up to his throat, his desperate stare found Susie and Uwasa; and they weren't spinning.

He shook, he tensed up, and then, Blue Bastarache managed to cough up blood, staining the snow, and his body relaxed. Starting to cough, he curled up, trying to sustain his body heat.

Dante worls shattered like light that entered a prism. He felt his heart crash into his stomach as he let her go... his eyes as wide as possible as he felt his body start to shake. He looked at her with eyes of a child...confussion filled him as well as anger. He turned around, slowly walking off as each step thindered in his ears with those two words she spoke. He walked off, feeling dead inside as he took ebony and ivory from his coat, looking at them and dropping the mags of each. He spun the guns behind him and dropped them to the floor, then lifted his sword from his back as it fell to the ground. He unstraped every weapon he had, then looked forward, seeing he had walked a long way....... HE fell to his knees, gripping the dirt hard enough to rip peice of earth out as he screamed a blood curdling howl.

She kept on holding onto Blue's hand firmly and through her hand she sent a warming sensation using her fire power. She didnt burn him but sent it slowly through his body, trying to warm him up. "There there Blue.. Come on.. Pull through.." She saw the blood and winced. She looked at Uwasa, worried as hell.
