Bakura was careful as he passed the infants over to Rei, then slipped out on his own. Once out of the palace, where a majority of possible problems would come from, he relaxed. Smiling brilliantly, he kissed Rei again. "Good thing these palace horses are so well-bred. We can find ourselves a pair of nice ones."

Rei smiled and kissed him back "Yes We'll have a good selection." She took bakura by the hand and headed twards the stable.

"We'll figure things out when we're more settled." Bakura said, partly to himself. They reached the stables, where he cautiously looked inside. A young man was there, probably to watch after the horses, but he was snoozing. "Hmm. You have a knife?" Bakura found one in his pocket, and flipped the blade in his hands. "I hope he's not one of those people who screams when he dies." Bakura's tone was malicious, and his eyes sparkled as he determined the best way to kill this lad without incident.

"Well you could gag him first then kill him..or just snak his neck" She said thinking of silent ways to kill.

Bakura nodded and silently slipped into the stable, moving behind the stable boy. In a swift motion he snapped his neck, having returned the knife to his pocket already. The kid's body fell to the ground and Bakura hesitated a moment, before looking up at Rei. "We should hurry."

Rei nodded. She went over to a black horse.She hently rubbed his mussle before hopping on holding the children to her.

Bakura found a nondescript horse of his own and looked over to make sure Rei was okay. He nodded slightly and began to ride off, deciding to go to the closest inn to stay until they could decide what to do next. Luckily the town wasn't too far off.

Rei followed bakura on the horse.The children were fast asleep.

It didn't take very long at all to get to the town, and find an inn. Bakura instructed Rei to wait outside as he went in, though he seemed uncertain about this decision. He entered the shabby little building and came out a few minutes later, urging her to come in as well.

Rei had tied the horses up and waited outside. Once he told her to come in she quickly followed behind him.

There were a few grimy-looking men in the front part of the inn, who watched the couple go past. A few snickered and muttered to each other, and Bakura gave them a withering look as he seized Rei's wrist and practically hauled her to the room he had gotten. It was small, as far as rooms go, with only one bed, which had a straw mattress. Bakura ignored the mattress and sat down on the ground, examining his arms and removing the golden bracelets and armlets he always had on. He didn't say a thing to Rei.

Rei wasent sure what what was up with bakura but she said nothing.As they headed into the room Femi had started to whimper. Opening her small eyes she looked around and noticed bakura. She cooed and reached out twards him. Rei sat beside him and let femi cling onto his sleave.

"s**t. I just remembered what I'm supposed to be doing..." Bakura said, ignoring his daughter and running a hand through his hair. "I had left to kidnap the pharaoh's daughter. I can remember that night. Tonight." Bakura couldn't exactly explain how he knew, but it was as though something within him told him what he had previously been doing before waking up in a daze. "Damn it."
