"I was being sarcastic." Neko said, looking up. She looked at his leg.

"I wish I could heal, but that was Mike's line of work. He'd have you fixed up in no time." Neko said. "Is that really all to your reason of hating demons, they try to kill you? I doubt that's all of it."

Neko smiled at him, pleased that he though she was nice.

"So I have changed your views a bit. When we first met you jsut kept yelling at me. Now you're almost civil." Neko thought for a moment, then came up with an idea.

"Tell me the whole truth behind you hatingmost demons, and I'll tell you my story. Deal?"

"I come from a similar situation." Neko said. She sighed. This might be painful. She took a deep breath, and told her story.

"My parents are very old, old enough to be old by the time the war had started. They married after the war was over, and they've been married ever since. I was the youngest of all, and so, I had a lot of older siblings to teach me. The whole tradgey happened about seven or eight years ago, when Kyoko, the oldest, was here in New York. She died at the hands of a hunter.

One by one, my brohters and sisters came here, to avenge Kyoko. Mike died the second, and he was the healer in our family. Soon, all too soon, I was the only one left, too young to send to the barbarous streets of NYC. So, may parents trained me as they hadn't trained my siblings. And while they trained me, I realized that it was all so stupid. And so, I promised myself I would never try to kill anyone, hunter, demon, vampire, or lycan. And so far I've survived."

She breathed out. She still didn't cry. "And so, I won't kill. And I've never really knwn anyone outside my family until I came here. Sad, huh?"

"I'm sorry your sister was killed by a hunter"

"Bye"

Walking down the street, acting as if nothing had happened a few nights ago, he smiles and looks around for signs of life.

"You seem fimilar. Do I know you from somewhere?" *walks out of an alley where she was thinking over what she had caused.*
