Explain better because now you raised curiousity and a bit of insult by calling that bond almost artifitial.

Still thinking he has just dug his own hole into a debate he calmly replied into his own terminology which was like a loop record on his mind all the time. "If this is true then explain Ziven and all of you. She is already both things both dragon and somewhat a human wouldnt she by choice bond a form something sacred with one who she holds dear?"

Questions that somewhat contradict each other *he replied* That would so she could learn to live without such or to find something to fill the gap altough i heard from her this was her own choice in the matter. The second one is kinda tricky too now that you have a responsability as her father you wish to help her in any kind of help she needs including the trouble of her lack of the bonding she always craves and deisires

it sound kinda selfish if you ask my honest opinion. If such is the case the it shouldnt have left you in the first place knowing that this would harm her. Then again if she didnt do such she wouldnt know any better even if it hits her in the face. Closing in refuge is not gonna help her sooner or later you wont be here with her and then the same void is once again in it. You dont know how that one link made me feel. I begged her to not sever it which made me think why you still hold this ideal to something that you know dont fit any standard you have on alagaesia restricting her is just selfish for some reason. I know this is an honor but she needs this and is not just on you.

"Worry not, Father. I forgive you. I have learned so much. Perhaps you should tell him more." she said softly, still keeping her distance, showing that she did not mean to intrude. Feldspar stood beside her, watching Ziven with intense eyes.

Giving a nod, he continued. "Your one moment of touching her life, knowing what she knows, seeing what she sees, letting your souls touch .. is nothing in comparison to what we have done, what we have lost. Fifteen years we shared our lives. With Feldspar and I already bonded for so long with each other, we were able to rely on each other for support when the decision was made it was time for us all to move on. It was time for Ziven to live her own life. Had we truly known who she was, we would not have pushed her away as we had at the time we had. She begged and pleaded with us. That week, we stopped speaking with her, which was the second time we had our minds separated. She soon seemed to be pushed to the brink of madness saying it was wrong that we were so near, she could feel our pulse but not us. One night, she left, moved on." he concluded rather anti climatically. With a nod, Brom rose from where he sat, going to Ziven who met him half way, her head down looking sad. As they embraced, her clothes began to move around her.

he sighs and looks down then upon them with slight aggravation and somewhat some anger to it "Ah! so you broke your own laws what you held sacred for her sake. You broked the link so she could grow otherwise she just be a confined being with no knowlege of whats out there heh! She would have never met us in the first. But here i stand saying you are wrong. How can you measure a moment in time with 15 years? Demeaning what it meant, what it felt, what it made me think of this my heart. Which always was a void because of my loss, because of all the suffering.... I was always told emotions are often a hindrance to ones logic. I could never hid my emotions completely, i relied in that link that moment in time when those around me happy to greedily satisfy mine. But this is not the point. My point is This thinking that one single moment is less meaningful than years of it...is rather very insulting. I hold you with the most highest of respects Brom, but, you say there's nothing better....how can you know? There's always something better something to strive for, something to believe in. I believe she can link with whoeve she decides and this in turn would make her even more wiser and more mature. I wasn't with parents because i lost them both to the jaws of death. I know how that feels, thats what ive said those things here and now...." He stood silent then sat again but not said one single word he just looked at the cup of juice he had and stared at it like he was seeing a mirror not blinking for even a moment wondering

"Addiction, Seisuke-ona. Logically, one will have an easier time stepping away from an addiction that they have catered to for moments or days than one would if they had been catering to it for years." she said softly. Feldspar inclined her head and Brom nodded
"Aye, the point is not to claim your moment was meaningless. Just .. different." he added, not wanting Seisuke to feel attacked or upset.

Addiction? you think something like this is an addiction? You mean to tell me that this is just the same as that blood binge you had with what aliator did to you, or something else entirely. I mean how can such deep bond close to... really i will not say what i can compare it but, to put it as a craving that was just a dependency of the body and mind? I think you chose not a proper term for it. Because you don't dislodge from family like it was an addiction or remove a bond and break it to feel meaningless and like crap just for be independent or learning to be mature. Brom you said artificial hows that different from meaningless?
Really sometimes you contradict yourselves and that confuses me. She says she can never have it, you say is sacred that it should be reserved to a select few. Now is said here that is an addiction would you consider the bond you have with feld as such? I know friendship grows stronger than siblings to such an extent to what it is present here.
It cant get inside my head that...that was like that i had a migraine all the time and then someone helped me with a pain pill and then just desist to give. So i have migraine again, pain again. Im very....

She looked at Seisuke with great disappointment before turning silently and returning to her room upstairs. Feldspar narrowed her eyes at Seisuke before following after her.
"It is clear that there is but partial understanding. It is difficult to explain, to truly let someone know what it is to be bonded with another in this way. Dragons and Riders have tried for centuries .. everyone has come to the final conclusion that it is mystical, sacred and very deeply seeded." he said in a soft tone, crossing his arms as he watched Seisuke.
