"Usually it's just my presence." Vincent answered Ukaia with a shrug. "Dragons help protect the dreams of those they care for." He let go of the neko, and pulled off one the elegant silver chains he wore around his neck; on the end dangled a tiger's eye stone, shaped into a claw. "This gem is for protection." Vince told Rose, smiling. "If you kept it by your bed, perhaps while you are dreaming you will be able to sense that you have a dragon on your side, though I know it pales in comparison to your onee-san and onii-san." The man winked, then held out the chain. "Would you like it?"

Rose looked at the stone, her eyes wide. "It's...pretty...." she said, reaching out a finger. "But...if it's a dragon protection item thingie, why is it tiger's eye? Shouldn't that be for were-tigers like me?"

Arlen comes down the stairs, and as usual when he sees Vincent there he wonders if he should just turn around and head back to bed. However, Lily had left several hours ago and there was no sign that she had returned so he instead mad a b-line for the kitchen to prepare some hot chocolate for her return.

Vincent laughed and handed it over. "Perhaps I was just keeping it safe until I found a nice were-tiger to give it too." He told her, smiling. "But it's spelled for extra protection by me. Do you think you're ready to go back to bed?" he asked gently. He noted Arlen, and his reaction, but he payed it no heed for the moment, focused on Rose.

"I can carry you to my room and tuck you into bed if you want to sleep with me and vincent?" she offered looking at fincent to see if he agreed with that

Rose looked scared for a moment, not wanting to face the dreams she had been having every night. "I...I guess...." She nodded slowly, holding the pendant tightly in her hand.

Vincent gave a quick nod, then stood, needing to stretch. Carefully, he picked up the discarded mugs, keeping an eye on the pair on the floor.
At that moment, Lily breezed through the door, humming to herself. She seemed in good spirits, though for going shopping, her hands were curiously empty. She glanced at Ukaia, Rose and Vincent, then decided to let them be and headed to the kitchen, smiling when she saw Arlen. "Hey!"

"Well then you will be in the center and you'll have vincent a big strong dragon on one side.. and me.. a sweet neko on the other side there to protect you" she said carrying her and kissing the itp of her nose gently
"I promice.. you won't have any bad dreams.. the pendent will keep you safe till we come to bed

"Ooh, thank you! And I did!" Lily chirped as she took the mug, ears fairly vibrating with excitement. "I got almost everyone's gifts today, just a few more to pick up."

"Of course its okay." Vincent told Rose with a smile. "We'll be happy to help keep the bad dreams away."
"Hidden." Lily answered mysteriously, then giggled as she sipped her cocoa and leaned against him. "I'll bring 'em here when Yule gets closer."
