Lt. Brookman It was a conspiracy then? Best not tell the previous owners of the Sons of Stalingrad, they went through a lot of hassle to get jetbikes for their legion. sweatdrop The thing about Sons of Stalingrad is that they're prettymuch pre-heresy. As such, they still have their old s**t. Not all of us are... under the eye of the Emperor, so to speak. I mean... -points at black templar- How many times have they gone over the population cap for marine chapters? They're bigger than the LEGIONS used to be!

FlashbackJon King Kento That is a beautiful model. I needs it. I really appreciate how "Imperial Gothic" they made it. Very snazzy. Agreed, and Im a sucker for flowing cloaks and capes.

Actually, they aren't at full Legion strength. It was larger than some of the smaller Legions, but several had outwards of twenty-thousand space marines in them before the Heresy Began, especially such Legions as the Sons Of Horus, Ultramarines, and World Eaters.

Makes me wonder though what GW will renew when the Space Wolves and Blood Angels get their own books in 2008 and 2009. All I can honestly think of is that there is still a need for a plastic Vindicator, other then that the range is up to date and accounted for. Maybe a new Exterminator autocannon design for the Space Wolves.

Nonsense. Space Marines need more resculpts and original models. No one buys those other incomplete, outdated lines anyhow...

The thing is, there isn't much left to resculpt and redesign. Sure, the new armies will get special sprues and resculpts of their characters, but that's it. Almost all of the "old" range has been resculpt or turned into plastic. All that's really missing is the Vindicator. And a Leman Russ Exterminator for the Wolves. Maybe a new Furioso kit. Or if the people feel really lucky, plastic drop pods.
Eh, who knows what GW might still crap out?

I think Space Wolves will get a new Vanerable Dread, and then maybe FW will make face plates/helmets for the Venereable for different chapters.
Chaos needs a new Lord, a good one, and new Sorceror models. I don't think they need new Daemons, those are pretty good. A new Abaddon would be nice, but that'd probably come with a new Codex, maybe.
Eldar are done, Tau are done, Tyranids are done... The inquisition might get a touch up on the generic HQs and Xenos, but they're pretty good in my opinion. Guard have the Cadians and Vostroyans, so they're set... We know Orks are gonna get some new stuff soon enough... Dark Eldar might get a beef up, but I don't realy know. If they inclue them in the next DoW, really push them as a decent race then they might get a boost in sales.
I think that's about it really. D:

Plastic drop pods are an almost definite.
BA will probably get a new upgrade sprue, I doubt wolves will since ours is still good.
Chaos are definitely getting new plastic terminators, and very possibly a new jug too.

Gents please, let's keep all the non-SM related chatter to their relevant topics, or in the case of the release speculations, relegate to the "Release Rumours" thread.
