The shadows pulled away quickly and dissapeared, opting not to stay for the attack.
Ashira yelped, "Taji?!" she writhed under the shadows as they put more pressure on her, forcing her against the floor harder.
The main shadow shook it's head, "No.. Ryukaze will not allow such.. this boy is a threat to our master's wishes."

Hiei continued to struggle.
"Say the name while you can, woman... He is going to die."

"No! You can't!!" she screamed loudly, struggling against the shadows that held her down. A bright golden light emitted from her before she broke free and ran to Taji's side, shaking him, "Taji!! Please!! Snap out of it!" she bit her lip. The shadows hissed at the light she gave off and attacked her again, hitting her from behind to knock her away from Taji and once she was a few steps away stabbed her in the torso with a sword made up out of shadows.

Her eyes widened considerably as she looked down, shaking now. The sword was going right through her torso, a hand's width above her navel. The shadow with the sword pulled it out roughly, leaving her to fall back in shock, bleeding profusely.

Taji knelt, his eyes made of black fire as he smirked, showing pointed teeth. "Now scream."

She stared down in shock, "......" she touched the wound hesitantly, blood staining her hand, "....The.. baby.." she muttered quietly.
A healer had hidden himself in the infimary once the shadows had come in. He covered his mouth and ran out a different door, "Lord Hiei!!" he shouted, running down the hall.

"Hiei.... please.. help me.." she mumbled, watching herself bleed. She looked up at Taji slowly, "Leave him alone.." she said softly.

"I said SCREAM, woman!" He punched her in the gut.
Hiei tried all he could, still trying to get away from the shadows.

She let out a loud scream of pain, falling back and squeezing her eyes shut tightly. She didn't try to get up after that.
The healer found Hiei battling with two shadows. The shadows dissapeared when he showed up, leaving Hiei. The healer helped Hiei up, looking paniced, "M'lord! Miss Ashira!"

Hiei gasped a moment, then stood. "Where is she?"

"She's in the infimary! The shadows stabbed her with some sort of sword!! And Lord Taji's gone insane! He was saying all sorts of strange things!" he sais hysterically. "There was blood everywhere!"
Ashira shook her head slowly, "I won't.. no..."

Hiei stood, running to the infirmary. "That's not Taji..."
"Cry, pathetic woman... Or I'll kill it." He put his hand at her stomach.

Her eyes widened and she scrambled backwards best she could to get away from him, holding her hands over her stomach protectively, "Don't..." she muttered, wincing as she moved. "This isn't you Taji.. please.. stop.."
The healer ran after Hiei, blinking, "Then who is it? Taji's not left the room the entire time without my knowledge."
