The silence finally broke. "Anne. I knew it had to be you causing trouble here. Looking for this, I presume?" He fingered the object in his arms. "This is no ordinary lamp. But if even you can surpass it, I did a good job indeed." He tucked it in his tunic. "Now then. I'll have to place both of you under arrest for trespassing."
"You can try, but--"
"GUARDS!" Alan called out towards the doorway. "Guards, sieze them!"

"Don't worry about it." She chuckled lightly, wrapping her arms around his. "You were already here when I woke up." She smiled back before looking around. "Soo...What do you want to do? Or were you planning on leaving before the real fun started." Her eyebrow raised under the rim of the hat.

"Well yeah." She grinned, pointing towards a large field. "They're going to be setting off fireworks once it's completely dark." The lights on merchant's booths were just starting to light up with bright colored lamps while she said this. "Come on!" She dragged him along, grabbing a large blanket from a booth and flipping a coin to the merchant behind the counter. She then led him to the field and laid the blanket out. "Going to join me?"

"Oh good!" she exclaimed, sitting down crosslegged, and glancing around the field. She spotted where the men who were going to set off the fireworks were gathered, grinning slightly, she closed her eyes for a moment, before looking towards Soki innocently as one of the fireworks went haywire, flying up into the dark sky and setting itself off.

Kaide raised her eyebrow at him, one ide of her mouth crinkly unto a crooked smile. "Erm... Okay then." She chuckled lightly, stopping though as she turned her head as not to let him see her wince as the black on her wrist crept up a tiny bit in one spot. "I think they'll start now." SHe looked back over at him again, smirking.

Kaide chuckled lightly and then put her arms around Soki's shoulders, watching as the fireworks began to shoot up into the sky one by one, filling it with bright colors. She winced away from him for a split second as a bolt of energy seemed to strike through her head, causing a bad headache.

She looked off at the distant castle before turning her head back to Soki. "Uhh, yeah. I'm fine." She smiled and looked back up at the sky just as an especially large green amount of sparks burst out into the air. She reached back after a moment and pulled the oficer's cap off, letting her hair tumble out, just as yet another pain struck. ______________________ The man pulled his large black, glistening cloak on and left the room. As he closed the door, he laughed in a deep tone, listening to the sounds of a clock come from the other side.

"No. It's not that.." She shrugged, leaning back against him. "Just a head ache.." One side of her mouth tipped up into a crooked smile. It was definitely a head ache, but not a normal one. "The fireworks should be getting overwith in about twenty minutes. What do you want to do afterwards?" She turned her body towards him, wrapping her arm around his neck._____________ Skai gathered up the skirts of her plain blue dress, nearly flying down the stairs, the pain in her head was very nearly unbearable. She intended to find Mear, which was why she was head downstairs. "Damnit!" She yelped as she tripped over her own feet and fell backwards. To her suprise someone caught her, a man dressed in black. He bowed and smiled to her briefly before striding off in the opposite direction.
