Kashi was torn as he stood in the hall outside of Tsume's bedroom, sheets bundled up in his arms so he could change them. The laundry room was... Um... he looked back and forth before deciding to walk down a random hall, trying to remember. It was on the edge of his memory. He would just walk until he ran into someone familiar, deciding going downstairs would be good. Let's see, where did one go after going downstairs? How about.... left. He moved quickly through the halls before turning again and opening a door. The cold air of outside hit him and he quickly closed it. No, that wasn't it. He turned and tried to re-trace his steps, twisting and turning until finding himself in much narrower hallways before he decided that he wasn't really in the right hallway. "Um," he felt like crying. He was lost. THe hare shuffled around before hearing noise in a bedroom and peeking in. "E-Excuse me." he saw the woman turn around. "I need to wash Mr. Tsume's sheets."

Megan wasn't sure it was Kashi until he spoke, trying to hide behind the bundled white cotton. "This is a maids job, but I will show you where to do this then I'll direct you to Mr. Henry. You're his assistant and going to be replacing him when he retired." and continued to walk. "I'm Megan, i'm the head maid, Henry is the head butler. Isn't Tsume with you?"

"I don't have my memories back, so I think it hurts him to look at me. I'd like to avoid him until I have them back."

"Hm, well you shouldn't do that." She mused, opening a door and placing the sheets in a pile, moving and grabbing freshly laundered ones. "Let's go make that bed."

"Ms. Megan, do you know where I can get my hair cut?"

"I can do that for you when we're done." And smiled at the hare who gave a smile back. He seemed like himself before Tsume, very friendly and polite. It was a bit saddening.

"Oh." he stopped and looked at her again. "You have a son!"

Megan laughed. "I do! You'll get your memories back in no time. I'm sure you doing your daily schedule will help." She saw an open window and handed the sheets to Kashi. This was the window nearest to Tsume's room. Poor wolf. It would take time. She looked at the gray sky, wondering if it would snow again before closing the window and latching it shut, pulling the curtains over it so the warmth of the castle didn't leave. "There we go." she walked back into the wolf's room, seeing Kashi halfway done. "Well look at you!"

He blushed. "I, just sort of remembered? My hands moved without me thinking."


Elliot placed Yuki next to his brother, watching them curl in on each other, the prince placing a thin blanket over them. It was funny how in a month they already grew so much. He could hold them in his hand when they were born. "And they'll get bigger." he put an arm around Leo's waist and held him close, staring down at the sleeping ones before standing up. "I suppose their bath should be finished. Do you still want them to watch the children?" and looked at the black hair. "I could dye mine again until your tips grow out blond."

Elliot kissed his husband's hand. "You've been nothing but wonderful." he murmured, keeping a hold of the hand before walking out with him. "If you get more tired than usual tonight, Leo, tell me. I don't mind at all what we do, but I could kiss you all night and be satisfied. Just be sure to tell me, all right?"

"Incredibly quick." Alvaro agreed, "None of them had any qualms at all." and chuckled. "He spent most of his life calling you uncle, Lewis. I don't think he'll switch over to dad. You'd be his third mother." and wrapped the towel around his waist with a laugh, grabbing the waistband and pulling Lewis back for a kiss. "You need to get fully dressed first."

"You're in the hallway." Elliot said as he saw them. "And neither of you is fully dressed."

"I'm practicing my honeymoon techniques with my husband."

"You've had years to practice I'm sure they're perfect, Father."

The silver eyes stared at his newly appointed father. "You're Uncle Lewis." he deadpanned. "That's what you've been to me all my life it's almost incestuous now in my mind to think of you as a father." Not that they were brothers but even as a child uncle and father meant brothers so even though he knew it wasn't true it was still there.

Alvaro laughed. "You may cal me whatever you wish, Leo. Now what is it I can do for you two? Or are you just stopping by for a chat?"

"Leo and I were wondering if you'd like to watch Rin and Yuki for the rest of the day."

"It's hardly breakfast."

"For the rest of the day."

Elliot gave a nod. "Good. You can pick them up right now if you'd like." the ending of his sentence was spoken somewhat louder so that he wouldn't hear his Uncle, but the words snaked their way into his ears. "any married couple is allowed one night alone. you've had yours, and a morning. Leo and I deserve ours without the children. Not to say we don't love them but--"

"No need to defend yourself, Elliot. it's not that embarrassing." and grinned at his son. "So yes. That's a good idea. Leo deserves all the love in the world."

Alvaro chuckled. "Always having babies in our room. ALl right! You two give us time to change, when you return with our grandsons I'm sure we'll be mostly decent."

Elliot listened to Leo, giving a nod. "They fell asleep not to long ago but they sleep rather deeply." So deep he got worried they'd died, many hours spent watching them or holding their little hands, making sure their chests were rising and falling. "We should be able to do that."

Elliot smiled, seeing some tinge of human color back in the fae's cheeks. Maybe what he needed was to be out in the sun and the winter air. Had he been drinking enough water? He'd ask later, picking up Rin who seemed to be an equally fat baby, if not slightly slimmer than his brother. The black head of thair though was tousled and messy, no amount of Leo smoothing it down had helped. "You have gained your father's hair, my son." and chuckled. "I would like them to cry at least once a night so I know they are still alive. I wake up constantly with worry."

It was still worrying. Elliot couldn't remember if he'd been a heavy sleeper. he remembered waking up and going to sleep with his mother and father, or crawling into bed with Uncle Lewis when he'd been scolded for something. At least until his mother died. he'd ended up distancing himself from both his father and Uncle.

What if they did that to him? What if he did something so atrocious as a father they they resented him?

It pained his chest to think about, looking at the sleeping baby. "Daddy loves you, even if he's not good with words." Thinking about it now, if it were his own children, how had his Uncle felt? His Father even? He'd never considered their feelings, his uncle being mentally ill and his father hardly the responsible adult he used to be.

"They deserve a big thanks." he mumbled. They deserved a big thanks and an apology.

Alvaro walkedo ut, adjusting his shirt before hearing Elliot give a nearly quiet growl. He looked like his mother. "I'm not going to eat the child." Alvaro comforted, wondering if that was going through his son's mind. Reinette had been afraid Alvaro would eat Elliot despite Alvaro having no earthly reason to eat his son. Must've been a lynx trait. "I'm just going to babysit." and held out his arms.

Elliot's ears stayed flat in warning, silver eyes watching his father before slowly handing over Rin. "Be careful with him."

"I've gone through four children, Elliot." And held the pudgy thing close. "We could actually make the castle smaller, I imagine. I wonder if he'd appreciate that. We've a lot of empty space, we could make a citizens garden."
