Neru Sakudu Question: How epic would an Ink artistry character with Sealing type be? Not as epic as you would think. Ink artistry works mainly with special ink jutsu, while sealing is drawings. While the two LOOK like they would overlap wonderfully, there's not really much bonus to mixing them. @Mint: I know for a fact she posted recently in the RP. Perhaps rather than trying to usurp her position, you should be a good person and PM her, just in case she didn't know about the new profiles?

I was thinking that as long as you had your ink artistry character mix their blood with their Ink they use for everything else, it would work perfectly. ( I just thought up an awesome destructive combo between the two that would decimate entire villages, as long as you took the time to prepare it. Which it would take at least a month in Roleplay time. )

Also, Question about one of the seals.
How much chakra can the Battery seal hold, and how long it it's hold? ( Could I spend 14 points of chakra on it one day, and it automatically keeps it until it discharges? )
And is it re-usable? ( Can I charge it and discharge it multiple times? )

Question.
Because I want to make a custom clan/taijutsu style, would it be possible for me to manage the clan, but not have a third official character? Like, give somebody else the head position, but still being in control of it (if I decide to make it a clan)?

Battery seals can hold as much chakra as you wish to put in them, although the recommended amount would be just enough to power the array maybe two or three times. Any extra will be wasted, as it won't ever get used. And yes, you can recharge the seal as many times as you want, but you can't carry one around on a slip of paper and use it multiple times if that's what you mean, as each seal is custom made to connect to a specific array. It won't do anything if you try to attach it to a different array.

Hinote, could you give an example of a Link, Battery, catalyst, and some other seal being used together in an array so I and others can get an idea of what you were thinking when you thought them up?

If I did that, I'd be giving away all my secrets.
But fine.
Link, battery, catalyst, and magnet.
Set two magnets connected to each other on say, steel crates, on opposite ends of a hall. Link them to a battery and catalyst seal, with the catalyst set to activate when someone stepped on it. Place this between the crates.
Now, when someone walks there, the array activates, squishing them to a pulpy mess.

Within reason, yes. If it gets to be bogus, I'll just make a set instead of just one. Or just rules for how it can be used. There's a bunch of seals in there that will probably be edited over time as I look over them again, cause nothing is perfect.

Could a Ink artistry shinobi use Super beast imitation drawing in conjunction with seals?
Like could I draw a Super beast with seals all over it's body and use it to use seals?
Like have a trigger seal on there that triggers a crapload of explosive tags that are also all over the body of it when it is attacked, or hits something? ( Something kind of like a missile's pressure sensitive cap. )

@Kay: No ruling was needed. Greg was just mixed up.
@Neru: Using a jutsu made of ink, and making it out of seals? No. I don't think you can do that. Reason being that you have to set seals manually, as they are counted as one of your post actions. Doing that would allow someone to make a ton of seals all at once, along with an actual jutsu, so no, you can't do that.
You could of course do something similar though, and that pressure sensitive idea is quite good. Just not with an ink jutsu.

Can magnet and catalyst seals be reused?
And can you tattoo a magnet seal to say your hands and a catalyst seal in the other?
Also could you control a kunai/shuriken's flight path using said seals?

Catalyst seals are specially made for each array, so if you're asking if you can transplant them to another array, no. If you're just asking if they can activate multiple times, yes. So long as the array has enough chakra to remain operational, it will work.
Tattooing a magnet seal to your hands would be basically putting handcuffs on yourself. Why on earth would you do that?
And no. If you put one half of a magnet seal on your hand, and another on your shuriken, and tried to control it's flight with it, you would find yourself with a shuriken embedded in your hand.

Yea, a magnet seal attached to your body would be like turning evey shuriken into a homing shuriken, and they're all homing in at you.
