Z, getting no help from the scientists, decided to follow Blaine. He kept his distance but made sure not to lose him as he was led by the other worker.

The man with the knife said, "Please. I know your type. All Blazers are just violent, stupid people who will do anything for their own gain."
"No answer," the tech at the phone said.
"Let's go," said another, then began to walk towards the back of the lab, where there was a small stairwell. Several others went along as well.

Blaine walked along, behind the woman.
He usually kept his eyes to the ground, but discovered that they were carpeted, no need to worry about cracks.
He checked periodically for followers.
He saw Z, eventually, and tapped the woman on the shoulder, "He's one of the ones who wants to kill him." he whispered

"I find that generalization offensive," Anatoly objected. "Unless being a Blazer changes you to be as such, at least." He hoped they arrived somewhere the man wouldn't have the knife at his throat soon.

Anatoly got his wish: they arrived at a simple steel door, and his kidnapper said, "Get in there." Anatoly was clearly to open the door with his other hand. The knife had not yet left his throat.

The man shoved him in without another word and shut the door. Anatoly heard a lock clicking in place.
The woman with Blaine looked back. "Who are you?" she shouted to Z.

"What are Mystickers, that they can do this to people? And... do you know how to stop them from doing it?" Anatoly called through the door as he prepared to plan his escape, looking around the room to take in his surroundings.

"That...is a question for another day. See you later, Yang." With that, the footsteps turned and walked away.
The closet, for that's what it was, was barely three feet wide by five feet deep. The majority of it was filled with cleaning supplies, and on the left was a metal shelf, with cans of paint.
