Riza slept much better now that Sneasel and Ralts were with her, though the two did turn out to be fantastic bed hogs. When she opened her eyes again the sunlight was finally starting to show itself through through the window. She heard the door creak open and she smiled when she heard Crenu's voice. "I'm awake," she answered quietly, shoving Sneasel over to the side in order to make some room for her to sit up. "I see you're up early," she said, getting up out of bed and stretching a bit. "What was so important that it couldn't wait until after sunrise?" She walked across the room and picked up her neatly folded clothing from the table before she turned to look at the boy peeking through the slightly open door.

"Can't a girl get some privacy?" she asked cutely, batting her eyelashes at him. "Unless you really want to watch me change, I suppose I wouldn't mind either way."

Venerax's shoes slapped down upon the hard packed ground as he ran through the woods. Twigs snapping under his feet and branches breaking in his passing. He was starting to tire, but the ominous drone of beedrill kept him moving.

Then he saw the clearing ahead and he picked up his pace. Breaking away from the trees, he took a moment to glance over his shoulder at the swarm of angry beedrill that were after him.

"I must be losing my mind." He muttered to himself as he turned his eyes forward again.

He was barrelling straight for a steep ledge, he heard the beedrill break from the trees as well. And as his foot stepped onto the edge of the drop off. . ."CALCULUS NOW!" He called out as he didn't even slow and leaped out into oblivion!

Wattson frowned behind his beard. He had just finished remodeling, and now another trainer just tears it up. Alas, that was the work of a Gym Leader. "Magneton, ya can take the hit!" he said, stuffing his hands into his pockets. He watched the elephant crash into the Magnet Pokemon and he shrugged. It was no big deal. "Now then, use ya Tri Attack!" The Magneton floated up and felt the large object slam into him via Rollout.

"Maaag...netoooon..." he whirred, spinning around. One of them began to glow blue, another red, and the last yellow. A blast of fire shot out of the Red Magnet, while ice showered out of the Blue Magnet. Finally, a bolt of electricity practically exploded out of the Yellow Magnet. Now, for what it was worth, Wattson did know that the electrical part of the attack wouldn't affect the Donphan at all. But that wasn't what he was going for. A smile appeared behind his beard. "I missed havin' all this fun."

Kilik's eyes fluttered open and and he slowly sat up. He glanced over at Mitsu, who looked like she had gotten some sleep too. "Good morning," he mumbled with a slight laugh. He sat up totally straight suddenly, his bruises finally signaling to him that he was in pain. "Hey, I just remembered!" he carefully began to dig through his pocket, pulling out the PokeDex that Professor Elm had given him. "They said these could be updated at any Pokemon Center. So once we update these, we'll be able to get information on all the new Pokemon in the Sinnoh region!"

Kilik stood up slowly, holding out his hand for Mitsu to grab and pull herself up. When she did, he walked with her over to the computer. "Let's see..." he typed in his Trainer Information. "Ranmo, Kilik...Verdanturf..." he mumbled then quickly typed in his Trainer ID number. A screen popped up to show three things: Pokemon Storage, Item Storage, and PokeDex evaluation. "We click this," he said, selecting the last option.

"Please insert PokeDex into the drive. Update will then commence."

"See?" he smiled over his shoulder at her the placed his PokeDex into the front of the computer, pushing it in until it clicked. On the screen, a download bar appeared, accompanied by a pixelated Pikachu who was zapping it. With every major jolt of electricity the Pikachu gave it, the bar jumped ahead 25%. Finally, there was a ding, followed by a digital "Pika!" and the PokeDex ejected itself. The boy took it into his hands and then logged out of the system. "There we go! Now you try."

Calculus came out from hiding right infront of the path of the angry beedrill swarm. Its had beginning to spin. "Ryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!"

"Ahhhhhh!!!!" Venerax cried out, his arms and legs flailing as he began to fall, but he didn't forget one very important thing. He squeezed his eyes shut.

As Calculus' head spun a light began to build inside. Until it exploded out in a blast brilliance like that of staring at cold white snow in the noon sun. "GON!"

The swarm was caught full on in the Flash attack there angry chase turning into a confused collision in the dazzled aftermath of the attack.

SPLASH! Venerax hit the pond water below the ledge and swallowed him up.

Mary-Anne sighed to see that Roll-Out wasn't very effective when it came to that jumble of bolts and screws. Well, she supposed it made sense that ramming into steel wouldn't do too much more than dent it. Ramming into things was Tora's specialty, though, and she figured the Donphan would bull through her disadvantages to the best of her abilities.

Tora, meanwhile, being simple-minded, couldn't care less if her attacks weren't as efficient as they could be. All that meant was that she had to put continue trying to keel it over with brute force. She had the unshakable belief that there was nothing that could stay standing if the assaults kept comin'. Worked with trees, doors, and other stationary objects, so why not here? Of course, she had never seen the Pentagon, but that wasn't the point.

So, the stubborn Donphan was spinning even faster now towards the Magneton in her second bout of her Roll Out sequence. Suddenly, however, she felt a blaze of heat roll over her body. Hot, hot, hot, she thought, ploughing through regardless; Daemyn's fire was much hotter, and sparring with him over time had made her tough skin even tougher. OOOOH COLD COLD COLD, the Donphan thought, her spin becoming very sporadic and chaotic from the surprisingly contrasting beam, making her feel very uncomfortable and stiff for a short period of time. It was here that her one-track mind became useful, however, and she figured that her opponent was being awfully mean, and that she better pummel it! She always felt a bit out of control anyways, so this wasn't anything new; with the dogged determination of heat-sensitive rockets, Tora spun wildly towards her opponent once more.

Crenu couldn't help but watch Riza as she stretched, a little disappointed in himself for acting so predictably. There is was again, this girl definitely had some form of charm that he felt a little drawn to, but the more time that past the less he really minded it. When she mentioned changing, he grinned and pulled his head out of the door, almost tempted to call her bluff. Closing it he leaned up against the door frame, nearly forgetting about Poliwhirl. "That's alright, maybe next time." She really liked playing games, or maybe she was serious, either way Crenu found it harder to remain focused which was a little troubling. "Just an early riser I guess. decided to get some training done. Why, did ya miss me?" He said with a light chuckle as he waited.

In the mean time, Poliwhirl was happily firing off Ice Beam after Ice Beam, finding it much easier to produce the energy than before. But even still, it was a powerful attack that did tire him out after excess use. "My my my, perhaps I went a little overboard in my new found elation. I need a small break." He said breathing heavily as he shook out his arms before standing on them for no apparent reason. There was a small rustling in the bushes growing outside the Pokecenter, and Poliwhirl recognized it as the sound of a pokemon. "Ha ha ha ha ha, what is this I hear? A sound, a sound, a sound of something queer. Come out come out whatever you are, on second thought stay there, and I'll give you a new scar! Hiya!" Poliwhirl flipped over back onto his feet and pointed his open palm at the bush ready to fire, but was caught off guard by a sudden snowy gust that came from the very bush. The air was cold, but very weak and barely did anything to Poliwhirl. "He he he! What was that, did you sneeze little bush dwelling pokemon?"

"Leave me alone meanie! I'll freeze you into a big blue popsicle!" From the bush a little orange cone shaped pokemon jumped out, breathing out another snowy gust at the big blue spiral jerk. But the Poliwhirl seemed to simply shake off snowy attack so she tried again. Time and again though the Tadpole Pokemon just laughed it off. If was no use, she really was useless.

Stretching her limbs sure felt nice after a nap, and was was the ability to get up. Not that she really minded the boy falling alseep in her lap like that she thought a moment later. Mitsu took his hand, pulling herself off from the couch. "I wonder if our Pokemon have new attacks?" Mitsu said following Kilik to the computer. Karri had used something similiar to Ivy's Razor Leaf the other day when she had battled Crenu's Poliwag. I wonder what that was.

She plopped down in a seat in front of the computer, frowning slightly after she typed in "Mitsu." What was her last name? And why couldn't she remember it? She shook her head, no use in dwelling on it. A small beep signaled her Pokedex evaluation choice. "Ah-ha!" she said pulling the red device from her bag after a moment's digging. She'd rarely used it in Hoenn since she knew a good majority of the Pokemon, having seen just about a million gym matches.

The machine ate up her Pokedex as the little Pikachu acted as a loading screen. At the halfway point the purple haired girl took the last swig of her lemonade before tossing it into a tashcan nearby. "Guess this is it!" Mitsu replied taking her Pokedex back as the machine spat it out, clearly disliking the taste. She twirled around on the seat, "So what next?" she asked Kilik as she stopped, facing him.

The blinding flash from Shocker's electricity lit up the whole room and when it faded, Mai had been thrown backwards off the bed by the sheer force of the Thunderbolt, and she lay on the floor, very much unconscious. "Rai chu!" the mouse shouted, jumping up and down angrily. "Rai rai rai! Chu chu chuuuu!" Loosely translated, she shouted something to the effect of "Why the hell am I here with this crazy evil b***h and where the hell is Kasiya?!"

Serenity, having checked on her mistress' status jumped back onto the bed and glared at the Raichu, her forehead jewel shimmering brightly as she was fully intent on psychically blasting her electrical a** back into that Pokeball. However, she recognized the lost, terrified look in Shocker's eyes and she calmed herself, slowly sitting down. "Look, I know you're confused, but shooting lightning bolts around isn't going to solve anything. Calm down, and I'll explain," she said, flicking her tail.

"Calm down? Calm DOWN?" Shocker practically screamed. "I have no idea where I am! YOU calm down!" she shot back. Sparks rained from the Raichu's cheeks - she was fully ready to fight if it meant she could get out of here. "Try me, Pinky!" she shouted, lunging at the Espeon, her tail glowing a steely silver as she spun around, preparing to slam the Psychic-type.

Jaeshan couldn't help but smile when he saw the Sealeo appear in front of Keegan. "Shiva, eh? She really seems likes you," he said, nodding, wondering where he'd heard the name 'Dante' before. He vaguely remembered a taller boy with auburn hair and an oddly coloured Ponyta but he couldn't be so sure. "But a Pokemon for a birthday present? Even you've gotta admit that it's pretty sweet." It was at this point that Jaeshan realized he didn't have a Water-type Pokemon at all. Sure, Nidoking knew Surf, but he didn't exactly want to force the dual Ground and Poison-type to carry him across the water if it would cause him harm. He watched Keegan interact with the seal, chuckling a little. His people skills are practically non-existent, but he sure has a way with Pokemon, he thought with a grin.

Surge didn't so much as flinch as Mike delivered the news of his daughter having been admitted to the hospital in Saffron City, and even though the look in the boy's eyes was wild and frightened - like that of a caged animal - he sensed some truth in them as well. "I'll take yer word fer it, boy," he said, nodding slowly. He knew Kasiya well enough to know that if she needed help, she'd call her mother. And Maya, being the woman she was, would call him. "Are ya certain ya wanna battle right now? Y'look a little green around the gills." He wasn't even joking. The boy looked pretty messed up. "Y'know ya can always rest up fer now and we can battle in the mornin'."

The beedrill were far from detered, now their anger was turned to the upstart pokemon that had gotten in there way. Calculus didn't wait for them to respond in kind.

From the tip of its nose a whirling multi-coloured blast shot out colliding solidly with the nearest of the bee-like pokemon sending it tumbling back into the trees.

Thankfully as disorientated as they were, not the whole the swarm came at the porygon at once. And even those that orientated themselves enough to attack, only scratched Calculus a handful of times. Missing more often then hitting.

Even so, the numbers were not in the porygon's favour. Enough handfuls of strikes would put it out of commission. It decided to use one of the techniques its trainer had loaded into it.

Calculus' body seemed to quiver and then blur as it moved from side to side, until it was moving so fast there seemed to be more than just one of it.

Venerax swam under the water as far as he could before surfacing, and then with quick strokes he made it to the shore. Clambering out of the water, his clothing soaked clean through and his shoes making the deep sucking noise, he turned back to see how Calculus was fairing.

"Damn," As he saw the nearly half a dozen beedrill trying to turn the porygon into a pin cushion, and as long as Calculus performed Double Team there was no real way for him to call it back. His hand went to his belt and he pulled out one of his pokeballs. "Got no other choice now."

Riza chuckled as Crenu ducked out of the room, quickly slipping out of her nightgown. "Alright, your loss." She folded up the pink silk garment and placed it in her bag, wondering if he was just being a gentleman or was just plain shy as he spoke. 'Maybe a little,' she thought, though she didn't dare say it out loud. "Just wondering," she answered finally, dressing herself rather quickly. Sneasel and Ralts were still sleeping fairly soundly and Riza recalled them, deciding to let the duo get as much rest as they could. They'd battled hard against those Rockets yesterday and she figured they deserved their sleep. "You can come in now, I'm decent," she called out, now just lacing up her shoes. "So what do you have planned for today?" she asked. "I figure everything from now on will seem pretty quiet compared to yesterday."

"C'mon out, Booky!" He said throwing the pokeball into the air. "Time to even up the odds."

The small owl pokemon burst out of the pokeball in a flash of light and flew as fast as its frantically flapping wings could carry it towards where Calculus faced the beedrill.

"Use peck, Booky!" Venerax called out before the flying pokemon couldn't hear him.

Disoriented already by the Flash attack, the speedy movements of Calculus made
it nearly impossible for them to hit.

Calculus sent another psybeam into one of the beedrill around it. The psychic attack hitting solidly.

Then Booky flew in to the rescue, sharply striking one of the beedrill with its beak.

When Luffy heard them accuse Robin of not being a very responsible trainer he frowned. Robin wasn't irresponsible! Sure she wasn't the smartest, she was way smarter then him though, but she always looked out for her pokemon. Just because she refused to put him in a pokeball wasn't anything bad! Puffing out his cheeks he pushed himself up and glared at the two above him. They might be robbing a train but insulting Robin wasn't a good thing ever in his books even worse then train robbing!

The two guys looked down at the now mad Aipom and frowned slightly. "Man what is up with this Aipom!" One of them asked pointing at the pokemon.

"Shoot man I don't know! I haven't ever seen an Aipom before!"

"Maybe it wants to battle?"

"Maybe I don't have any pokemon. You battle it man!"

"Hey ******** you! I will battle it if I feel like it!"

"Well do you feel like it?"

"Hell yeah I do, you know I don't back down from a challenge man!"

"Well then battle it so we can get our job done!"

"Stop telling me what to do!" The other yelled at him before reaching into his belt and pulling out a pokeball. "All right are you ready for this you stupid Aipom." At that comment Luffy puffed up his chest and glared at the man. The Aipom was easily balancing on top of the train in a fighting stance ready for whatever pokemon the other sent out. "All right then! Lets go Fluffy!" The man tossed out a pokeball to reveal a Meowth. The poor pokemon wasn't ready to be released on a train. It gave a yowl and dug its claws into the metal train top.

The mans friend who didn't have a pokeball gave his 'friend' a strange look. "Man a Meowth!? You named him Fluffy to?"

"Hey ******** you man! And just so you know Fluffy is a girl. Hey Fluffy lets show that Aipom your Fake Out!"

Luffy had Fake Out used on him before and he did not like it one bit. So instead Luffy decided to counter with his own Fake Out attack. The two pokemon rushed forward and used there own attacks on each other. The clash turned out to be in Luffy's advantage. He had a bigger advantage on top of the train. Due to him being so agile the rushing wind and slippery top made no difference to him. Fluffy was just a bit faster but Luffy was a lot stronger and he muscled his way through the others attack and landed his own down first.

He smirked a little before reentering the room, a part of him felt like it really was his loss. "Things are better when they're quiet, less likely to get bitten by a snake that way." He said clenching his left fist tightly, it still stung when the muscles moved around. Though his arm hurt like hell and blood started to seep into the bandage from the now slightly reopened wound, Crenu's face remained as calm as usual. In fact, he appeared to still be smirking if anything. "Other than getting my shirts out of the dryer?" He said jokingly as he heard the machine still going down the hall. "Don't really have anything planned, I need another badge for my Hitmonlee to keep obeying me since he appears to have grown bored of taking commands, but I'm in no real hurry to do that. I suppose I'll finish up my training with Poliwhirl and see what happens from there. What about you?" He said leaning on the door frame again. "Any set path you wanna follow?"

The orange cone shaped pokemon was growing tired, her attack really were doing nothing against this superior foe. "J-jerk! I'm gonna get you if its the last thing I do! Now freeze!" She send another Powder Snow at Poliwhirl who just batted it away again just as easily as the first one.

"Oh no no no little one, I shall not freeze today nor tomorrow nor yesterday! But my hands are so cold now, you don't play my game very well! He he he ha ha!" Poliwhirl spun around again before firing out a strong jet of bubbles out at the little pokemon laughing happily at his victim.

"No!" The little pokemon cried as she closed her eyes tightly waiting for the barrage of bubbles to make contact. Seconds before the attack made contact however she split apart into several copies, the attack pelting an image that disappeared when hit. The remaining copies looked around confused, then all ran away when she realized that it had given her an opportinity.

"Hey hey hey! No running away, that isn't any fun at all!" Poliwhirl said with an annoyed tone as he shot bubbles at random images, each one disappearing when hit a couple of them managed to get away, the real one among them. "Tch, stupid cone thing not wanting to play my games. Oh well, back to practice!"

Even though he had no idea what Jaeshan was thinking, Keegan was vaguely thinking it too. He'd always gotten along quite well with Pokemon, which is probably what made him so useful to have back home at his parents' facility in Lavaridge. Keegan stood up, still grinning down at the happy Sealeo and wondering just how Dante had pulled this little stunt off. He also now had the problem of having seven Pokemon with him when the limit was six, though he couldn't help but feel elated due to the fact that Dante trusted him enough to take care of Shiva. "Well, first thing's first, guess we'd better go back to the Pokemon Center," the redhead said with a shrug. As he looked at the Sealeo he became aware of another issue - he didn't know which Pokemon to swap out. "Let's go then," he said, nodding to the seal. Shiva barked happily, her whiskers twitching happily as she followed her new redheaded trainer.
=====
"Gengar, get back and use Shadow Ball," Morty commanded, his hands clenched into tight fists. There was still a chance he could win this; he just had to keep Gengar away from Metang. Gengar, still frowning angrily from the previous attacks it had taken, jumped backwards, forming another dark orb in its hands before he hurled it at Tingle. Morty closed his eyes and sighed. He didn't mind losing battles, though it wasn't exactly his favourite part of being a Gym Leader.

"Tingle, incoming!" Miharu shouted. "Look out!" The Metang narrowed its eyes at the inky orb heading its way and it raised a shining claw and slashed at it, rendering it to be more or less harmless. Without waiting to be told what to do next Tingle then launched a Confusion attack, the psychic energy curiously shaped like a spear heading for its target. The Gengar howled in pain from the hit, staggering back several feet as he did so. The ghost growled and prepared to throw another Shadow Ball, looking like it was just about to be on its last legs.

The black beam hit Monsoon, causing him to stagger back. A shiver shot down his spine as the ghost's attack gripped him. He shook it off as best he could and began to pull himself back together.

"That's it Monsoon, don't let that Night Shade get you down!" That move can't have done much, not from an inexperienced Pokemon anyway. But if we're not careful that'll add up. We'll make do with Bubble for now, and save our trump card if we need it. "OK Monsoon, get in close and hit it with another Bubble attack," Kevin instructed.

"Squirt!" The tiny turtle nodded to his trainer and gave an impressive running jump at the ghost. Stopping about half a foot away he let loose another flurry of bubbles, this time more concentrated, directly at the Duskull's face.
