For a split second, although not showing it on the outside, she nearly choked on the water in surprise on these words from Sai. She also grinned, and looked at him. "Same here. I was worried I wouldn't fit in or find anything that I would hold dear to me either, but I can see that I was clearly wrong about that." she replied, and attempted to hide the blush that was coming onto her face, but like Sai, had failed to hide it.

Sai looked straight at her, his face full of a second-wind confidence.
"I want you to continue to be someone important to me, and I want to be someone that's important to you..."
Sai's face had already lost it's second-wind, his face turned red again.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Whatever words Sakura had planned to say next, was now lost with this confession. Woah...he's confessing to me. That's so brave, and he looks so nervous...she closed her eyes for a moment. It was obvious that he cared about her deeply, to go through so much trouble, a complete sweetheart..what sane person would say no? She opened her eyes again."Of course." she answered, her face turning a bright crimson at this point.

What happened next was done by Sai's body. His mind had gone blank after confessing to her, all of his prior assessments of the situation had been telling him that she would say no.
He regain his composure and leaned over and kissed her on the lips. He was so happy at that moment, that his mind started levitating objects from the table, but he didn't care, the only thing he cared about was the person sitting on the opposite side of that small floating table.
[Wow that took like 2 hours... and we fast forwarded it too lol]

((Wow! It's a good thing we did fastfoward it then. xd
Stellar: I noticed you were on awhile; I didn't know if you were catching up with all the posts or what. xd ))
Sakura should've expected this soon enough, but she still ended up surprised when Sai had leaned over and kissed her. Having no prior kissing experience whatsoever, her mind also went blank, but in a strangely happy way, and moved her lips to form a kiss as well. She didn't even notice the objects floating around the table; chances are she wouldn't noticed if one had it her. She felt her wings come forth out of her body; it was as if he was kissing an angel, sort of.

Sai pulled away from her, still red from kissing her. His mind seemed to have seeped back into his brain after kissing her and the objects landed back on the table as if they hadn't moved at all.
"This is possibly the happiest moment of my life."
The waiter had been standing there the entire time, holding hot plates of food.
"Ahem... Sorry to disturb"
He placed the food on the tables.
[Now that would be an awkward moment for the waiter... Floating objects, girl with wings... and them kissing at the same moment]

((LOL! Poor waiter. xd ))
Sakura noticed the waiter speak, and had as a result turned very red in the face, seeping the wings back in quickly. That wasn't like a normal Sakura at all...or was it a hidden one? Only time would tell. The food smelled nice and was very hot; the waiter couldn't have been there for more than a minute, if even that long. She thanked the waiter, then looked at Sai. She wasn't regretting this night at all.

Sai finally rid himself of all the tension, it had been killing him all night. Finally, he felt at ease -- and extremely hungry. Sai began eating the food on the table, and he was quite surprised that she hadn't asked how he set all of this up yet.
"Wow, the food is great!"

After taking some grateful bites of food, one of hte questions that had been on her mind the whole time was unable to contain itself. "Just out of curiousity, how did you set this up? The waiters, the seating area, etc. Did you help these guys in the past or something?" Sakura asked.

"I saved the manager's life before, actually a few times apparently."
Sai pulled out a picture from his pockets. it was a picture of his old teammates of his in 'the Rebels'.
"I used to be a superhero, I mainly worked in a group and in this city so my name really didn't reach that far outside of the city."

Taking the picture carefully, Sakura looked at it. Sure enough, it was a group of a bunch of people wearing the same identical suit, with "The Rebels" written in a corner on each shirt. It was easy to find Sai; the picture must have been at least three years old, and he was one of hte younger (if not the youngest) in the front of the group. That makes sense, she thought. "So, you used your powers in public? How did they react?" she asked.

"They didn't really care -- I was saving their lives and they understood that I was. Although I did have some run-ins with the police, because they had weapons and I was a guy who could fly, levitate and alter things."
Sai showed a scar on his arm, looked like it was from a bullet.

Sakura winced just looking at it; it looked pretty bad. "Ouch. Well, those kinds of people fear people like us, since we have stuff they can't control, I guess. Always have to be above us to make themselves feel powerful." Sakura said, as she continued to eat.
"But that's brave of you to help out the people like that. It's very caring and sweet." She added, taking a sip of water.

Sai looked at the picture once more and put it back into his pocket. The waiter had arrived again and changed the food with a different item. It seemed to happen every 20 minutes or so.
"Are we getting the full course or something?"
