*he chuckles at his little "inside joke" before turning his gaze to the new individual, a rather jolting entrance for one.* "An electrifying personality, as I would ever see..."*The Shade made a bit of a face* "Mmmm, that pun left a rather terrible taste in my mouth *smiles at Rita* I wish not to impose, but could I have a refill please?" *he asks, holding up his cup*

*as he waits, he nods as Rita goes on* "Matter of convienences. To put it in the easiest-to-understand terms, Starman met a part of me. I am the sum total of all of my parts, here. It makes holiday shopping a burden. I have three girlfriends, a boyfriend and a wife to shop for.

Entertainment, now there's a subject that i know too much about. It's big buisness-well, the only buisness- where I come from. You get sort of tired of all the wannabe actors trying to earn their star. the audiences want something different, and I'm sort of a talent scout, at times. Busy, all the time really. i do enjoy these down-times with good company.

*Rising from his seat, he raises his hat to her and bows once more, before turning and tapping his cane onto the ground, his large shadow slowly swirling and rising from the ground...and a swirling gaping shadowy hole opens out for him. He looks back briefly and winks*

"The only way to travel...."

*chuckling, he steps into the open gate...and the shadows take him, and soon, as it had come, was gone once more*
