Ricochet Rita I merely said "skinned" to be able to use the word green without including Guy. I mean no disrespect. You're one of the few I consider something of an equal in here.

Two nights ago, there was a massive spike of energy coming from the vicinity of this Bistro. I have been engaged with investigating minor spikes across the Nexus, but this one was particularly potent.

Oh? You observe the multiverse? *sips his tea again, smiling* I know a fair bit about of it myself, but perhaps nothing in the likes of yourself or even...*nods to Querl* Though my experiences with super powered individuals has shown me that there's more the fabric of reality and time then what one percieves...but perhaps I'll get to see where it will inevitably goes.
*winks knowingly at Rita* I say this, as I've been told I'd meet an old friend of that man...who is the inheritor of a title someone I hold with great respect for, but who has long since passed this mortal coil. But, the future does keep changing...
*chuckles into his tea, sipping again while Rita takes a seat beside him* Sorry, I do ramble. Now, to answer your question, things have been quite quiet in Opal City, at least since that rather nasty bit of business with the man called Prometheus as well as that rather...disheartening evening which has ever been as Blackest as I'd seen it for quite sometime. My Opal has recovered and since then, has had been peaceful...almost to the point of utter boredom. So, I received an invitation by an old friend to this little corner of the world, and well...*waves an arm* Here I am...

And who would the friend be who dropped you an invitation to be here? Not that i have any complaints. you seem to be an avid conversationalist and I for one welcome the ramble. There's a lot of terse conversings that go on here, and to have one who communicates so eloquently is very refreshing.
