Claven Burguard Hello, everyone! My name is Vinny, I'll be working hard to create a character within the next day or so, so just for the record! I'm 20 years old and in college going in as a graphic arts major. I am happy to be a part of this group and I'll work my very best to make you guys not regret accepting me into the fold. I'm still a freshman technically...so I'm mainly doing Fundamentals classes. But so far...I've grown used to the pen and pencil. I'm learning Adobe programs currently in hopes to perfect things. I want to learn human form better so I can start my own graphic novel or manga series.

Si. I just need to work on drawing humanoid figures...I'm mainly the creature or weapon artist. Of course...I'm getting fairly close to drawing people. I just need to worry about the range of motion that beings have...not just still frames.

But I'm afraid I must beg to differ to the one above. 3nodding Oto merely has a history of royally pissing off the Takikage.
If you want to see real action, vicious rivalries between indigenous peoples, civil war, true development in the learning of the youths, the rising and breaking of bonds...the drama and beauty of such stories is only present at yours truly, the Country of Fire. Besides, we got much prettier landscapes and architecture then stretches of rice fields.

Oto has a history of pissing of the Aisukage/Takikage, while also killing those OF the Snow village. Being that the snow village is destroyed now, it has been rebuilt as Aisugakure... Hyouton users only. razz
((Someone seriously needs to keep me updated here if I'm brought into a discussion. razz

Actually same here, about the whole pen and pencil thing. Wow... if there's one thing I cannot do, it's backgrounds xp ;; Right now I'm doing my art coursework on animals so I've gotten a little better at rendering them. Haha... practice makes perfect! OMG your an artist heart i really want to be an artist too, drawing figures and creatures and thost stuff, i can draw a papaer,but not on a painting program like ps cs4 or illistraitor for that matter, though i took lessons for it crying ....well anyways welcome and good luck ^^

Hehe... seems like we have a lot of new artists here! I want to see all your stuff >< Is that OK? XD
Hmmm... Well I have to admit that I wanted to work int he games industry too before. But I was reading and I read that even though it's one of the most rapidly increasing sectors in the private sector, there are (at least in the UK) more game developers/artists/programmers in training that there are actually working! That was kind of a huge turn off for me lol. If I was still going to do graphic design I would stay in graphic design or do something more general that I can apply in other places. XD;; But that's just me. I haven't exactly talked to any games art isntructors or anything like that. Maybe your institutions have great contacts/networking too =D
