This layout is way too cramped. I wish the old one was back! I actually liked going through the world map to get to places (or using Gaiabar to get from one place to another)!
It took me a few hours to notice there was an option to navigate in HTML and actually use Firefox's tab browsing feature here. =P

I've decided it's easy enough to make due with the new system, but I did like going around the entire map to get places, it was fun.
The way they have you subscription threads set up now sucks though. I have to go to the main forum page if I want to get to that menu, instead of simply clicking once to make it much easier.
