Shut up Vintrict, you know what I said is true - every-time yaoi comes up, you get that strange look in your eyes. At least, that's what I'll say anyway.
Naota, confirm this while I go kill vaguely British Special Forces and Terrorists from an undisclosed location in the Middle-East.

So speechless in the presence of my limitless justice, you have to resort to emoticons, monsters? Fair enough, let me finish the job with the best emoticon ever.

You can go ahead and lay down now, you're dead.

As for yaoi *ditches Kuwabara/Yusuke doujin negligently over her shoulder*, can't you at least pick two characters that actually look good in a yaoi manga? I could care less if Yusuke and Kuwabara were gay, but personally-- Kurama and Hiei look much better together.

Huh....I've never seen that ending before. Frog is a tough guy and I'm sure in that ending he won but I still like Magus more. Mostly cause when I first completed that game I was very interested in Scythes and he used one.

Despite their impractical use in real combat, they could be fairly used nevertheless. You have a slashing weapon and staff combined into one. Some people don't realize that the staff part exists for use, too.

And the testicle part.
Very useful in combat.

Its true. The scythe is versatile to say the least. I must admit it still is my favorite weapon. There is just something about using your fists though that got me to change recently and test the waters. I almost wish I hadn't left my Scythe at home for this tournament.

Scythe just leaves you open for Shoryuken. That's why they gotta make everything else broken about the scythe character to get them up to A tier. >=(

The Haelstrom Fist [Glimmers over Snow's fight.]
..G...ggnngg... GNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHNNGGGG!!!PANSY PANSY PANSY PANSY PANSY PANSY PANSY!!!My god. I hate (all right, that's a lie) to go into a tangent, but folks who can identify core issues others can't and then willingly choose to walk away versus trying to better the place and/or situation in question are the worst kind of people, and the sort I sincerely hope drop the metaphorical pen and stick to watching American Idol.
Of course this place is flawed- look at Vintrict. [Grabs Vintrict's face and reels it around.] Look at it! He enjoys yaoi for Christ's sake.
But this place is a vast improvement over past incarnations, and the only way for it to continue to improve, like any repeating "competition" of this ilk, is to actually identify the issues at hand and try to resolve them by example, not by screwing your opponent over of a good time and walking away crying. To lack the naivety enough one can spot the problem but to be too much a coward to seek the solution is nothing short of being disgusting. I enjoy the GTB because I don't need to make everything go my way 100% of the time to enjoy myself; something I think a few of you need to either learn, or repeat to yourself as you walk into one of those Portal Apature Science disposal centers.
The pansy and lack of hard-work has infuriated me to such a degree, I think I'll step out and go shoot children on Call of Duty 4 or Team Fortress 2 so I can be accused of hacking again just to avoid drop-kicking one of my neighbors, kind but short folk that they are.
[Throws a KuwabaraXYusuke manga at Vintrict.] Ahw yeah. [Puts on sunglasses.] DUNANNEENENENEEN No no no, you misunderstand me completely. I could care less whether I win or lose in this tournament, nor any tournament. I just disagree with a few things that are going on in this guild is all. Snow has done an exceptional job at kicking my a**, and I firmly believe he has made this more of an entertaining fight than I ever could. There is nothing wrong with withdrawing from a tournament based on ones personal feelings and uncomfortable thoughts. In fact, I don't know why you said half of the things in that rant (most likely based on assumption rather than hard fact). I understand that everyone has their flaws too, and I wasn't specifically pointing out Vintrict of all people. I walked away from this fight not because I didn't want to follow through with it, but instead it was because of the several things that are in my head here. The GTB itself, I can agree is a nice place and everything, it's just some things do need to be changed, for the fairness of judging a fight. I mean I watched Kamiha Sayuri's fight against Damon, which was going rpetty smoothly up until she bitched her way out of a compromising situation. I thought then "Ok, so she does it once, it shouldn't happen again right?". Well then, she was put into yet another compromising situation, and again began to b***h about it. One would think a judge would make a decision in somebodies favor, but instead the thread is locked, based on how the two can't "Get along..." I hold no offense to Vintrict for this, but I firmly believe something else could've been done in a fair manner besides this one. It ruins he edge of a fight, and puts people at severe disadvantages, makes them think there is bias in a judges head automatically, etcetera etcetera. I've been roleplaying for Three years straight under this character, so I know what you mean by "Pansy acts" and what not. But again, there is nothing wrong with walking away from a fight because of personal feelings. I mean, if I would've thrown an ooc b***h fit at Snow, then everything above and more would've been well warranted. Instead, I simply gave you all my feelings about the tournament as a whole, and why I would be withdrawing from it. Nothing about Snow kicking my a** and me not agreeing with it, and nothing about fairness in my fight, just fairness in general. I honestly hope this clears things up with you, and everyone else who may take this the wrong way. I didn't mean to piss anybody off really, though I'm sure I'll get something out of Snow later on. Edit: And this is my way of solving the problem, for myself. Walking away, is the most non-controversial way of dealing with it I can think of, not calling it out and causing more problems than needed.

The Crossed Fox I understand that everyone has their flaws too, and I wasn't specifically pointing out Vintrict of all people. It ruins he edge of a fight, and puts people at severe disadvantages, makes them think there is bias in a judges head automatically, etcetera etcetera. You see, this is where you're wrong. I didn't b***h myself out of a compromising situation. I stepped up and asked, "wtf?" because simply ignoring damage and instantly recovering from an attack is bullshit. It's different when somebody has resistance against an attack, or if the attack was charged for only a sentence to be brushed off as weak. But when your character has no such resistance, and you simply just instantly recover? Why wouldn't you say, "Hay, be moar fair." And then you get fed bullshit about some "grace period" with energy attacks that doesn't happen in any other fantasy and even then you can't get a definite answer to how long this "grace period" is supposed to be and why the power of an energy attack isn't being diminished in any way after focus is supposed to be lost. And then you get to like three posts later, another instant recovery on top of an all of a sudden "I didn't say I was doing this in my previous post, but now I am." type bullshit. Hell, it's even more bullshit when you state the current trail of thought of a character and it goes completely opposite to what you say in the next post after you realized that maybe you ******** up. That s**t does not fly. And the two times Vin had to step in, I wasn't the one to stop talking. So don't put that s**t on me. Damon was completely unwilling to compromise, even to the point he wouldn't even get on MSN with Vin and me to have Vin moderate over the discussion. So please, get your s**t straight.

I've actually brought up (and supported) the "lock the thread and walk away" decision that judges can and have made in this tournament and others.
Why? Because, after people argue and bicker for a certain amount of time, they simply will not be able to continue having an enjoyable match. It won't be enjoyable for the fighters, it won't be enjoyable for the judges to read and decide on, and it will most likely only cause more problems because the two people aren't on good terms and don't want to work together. If people don't want to play nice, then don't let them play together. Cut the problem out before it gets worse.
That's why I suggested it in the DT, and it's why I support the course of action in this tournament and others. If two people cannot get along well enough to have a decent match against each other even after the judges made one decision/compromise, and then the SAME bickering resurfaces again, it only makes sense to lock it and leave it.
If the players aren't willing to play together, why let them cause more problems and BAAAWWW about things? n** it in the bud. Lock it, drop it, end of discussion. No more arguments, no more IC NO Us, no more bullshit. It's done, over with, and both fighters will get summarily kicked in the d**k for not learning to play nice.
EDIT:: I mean, honestly? If I was running a 1v1 tournament, and had to lock a thread where the fighters were bickering, I would award both of them a loss for it and tell them to learn to play nice or GTFO.
