h X c to this... there was a discussion on another part of the internet why someone like kefka could not exist.
-does other things- 1. Someone like him could exist, with that "just burn everything" mentality. 2. He would not, however, be allowed to exist for long. 3. He would not, definitely, be allowed into a high ranking military position with how openly traitorous and disobedient he is. 4. Without the opportunities to backstab someone, he's just another insane clown.

Anyone know that feeling where you're questing for something, and then you achieve it, and it's not what you imagined?

That is why pessimism is good. You're never disappointed and if you're wrong then you'd be pleasantly surprised.

this argument/discussion noted that most bad guys in his situation of power and "i can do what the hell i want"-age, want the world to crumble under their rule out of a belief that it's better under them, that people should believe what they believe. even a bunch of guys who could care less for much other things, have their own "knowledge is power" ways. the will and wish to keep learning and doing it in the most unscrupulous ways, and be better while being left alone.
[here is where i was about to explain how kefka is this and that and is so against the grain, but your 1-3 pretty much cancels out everything so i'll end the loop of "but... but..." before it starts by not typing it and nodding to those points.]
in short, gestahl's an idiot.

I always wondered how the hell Kefka got his position. That so did not make sense.

Leo was badass. Even though all he had was that one ability that raped everything.
