And in other news, what are your guys' thoughts on Mewtwo's new form? I prefer the original, but still like the new one.

I think it's really cute! It looks a little less severe, which I like.

Initially I didn't like it too much, but those first few glimpses didn't do it justice. I really like it. And I agree, Tessie! Birthday buddies UNITE!

Giving Mewtwo a new form seems utterly pointless unless it has a substancial roll to play in the story of the game. If it's just some optional post game thing that's like "Hey, wanna go here and catch Mewtwo in this new region for no apparent reason? Oh and then wanna do steps A B and Z, get a ticket that's an event give away to ride the ferry to Mewtwo change Island to change it's form, you know, just cause?" then it's litterally a waste of data and a number slot. Heck even if it is a part of the main story that justifies it's existence, it better be pretty damn compelling to get the sour taste out of my mouth. In short, I remain unamused.

I personally like it. I think it's cool that they're hearkening back to the original legendaries rather than making an entirely new one because to be honest, I haven't been a big fan of many of them past the 3rd generation aside from one or two.

The whole Pokemon forms thing has kind of bothered me from the start, but whatever. As far as the design goes, I think it looks good. I'm willing to see where it goes.
All I really want are more Eevee evolutions to match all the types.
