I actually don't dislike firefox. I just don't feel the need to download it and try it out, and hate people who are stuck up and try to force other people to switch to firefox (like the incident with the red boxes).
I ended up googling "firefox security flaw" and found a bunch of them, but I'm not going to post it unless someone bothers me again.

I'm laughing at everybody that commented on that LJ post, as well as the creator. Because I doubt any of them are serious programmers, from what they've all said. xd

I'll put this tidbit out then:
No matter how you connect to the internet, nobody is entirely safe on anything for any matter.
Put it this way. Do any of you leave your computer connected to a power source and connected to the internet at night? Even if it's turned off, I can turn it right back on from my house. =)

this whole thing about expertise is the reason why i don't go into the life issues forum or the psychology-something forum. i just get riled up with all the nonsense spewed around there ninja
*always gets that "so, are you psychoanalyzing me now or something?" whenever people find out about her career*

First, to give an exact explanation would take way too too long.
Second, I could go to jail for doing so, so it's good to keep my mouth shut about it. XD

uhhh huh, sure >_>
Well, i'm not uber 1337, but I know my computer has two power buttons, one to turn it off, and one to turn the power supply off. So could you do it even if the power supply is off, but it's still plugged into the wall?
