"Thank you." Shinzu said with a smile and a slight bow as he walked up to the log. Taking one deep breath and preparing himself, Shinzu launched himself at the log. Dropping low so he could kick up he kicked the log, and sent it into the air. "Ok loook out!" Shinzu said as he moved out of the way and the log fell back to the ground. "Ok we're going to keep training to get you stronger, so set it back up each time I kick it." Shinzu said to Tenko. Roll (1 cool + Str ( cool = 26 vs 18 Pass 1/10 (+2 to your next roll)

Tenko cowered and dove under a bunch of branches and stayed there. He listened as Shinzu told him he had to pick it up and set it up again. His jaw dropped. "Now you want me to set it up again too! Uhg!" He said with a slight laugh as he crawled out from under the branches and walked over toward the fallen log. He slowly struggled to lift the log and jumped back as his arms gave way. A small scratch ran down his arm and he winced. He took a deep breath and looked at the log. Oh how it was the very thing his nightmares will be. He almost had it that time too. Shame.

Tenko glared at the log that had brought him so much pain. He put that into the back of his mind as he began to focus. He took a deep breath as he looked at the log and smirked. He took a deep breath as he looked at the log and hugged it tightly as he spun himself around and then forced the log back up into place. With a little rest he can do anything if he put his mind or force into it. He laughed and patted the tree as he walked away. "All yours Shinzu-sensei." He made sure he was a good distance behind Shinzu. No need for the log to crush his little body. He was very attached to it. He smiled at the thought and laughed. 'Of course I'm attached to it. It's the only one I have. Hahahaha.'

Repeating his previous movements Shinzu walked up to the log, and taking another breath went at it. His angle was off however, and he barely missed, but instead of it going into the air it simply fell over. "Shoot." Shinzu said as he lightly scratched his chin and considered the proper angle to hit it. Roll (2) + Str ( cool = 10 vs 18 Fail 1/10 (+2 to your next roll)

Tenko ran over to the log and looked at it. He slowly began to roll it up onto his leg as he focused his shifted his leg under it so it was on his thigh as his legs held it up. He put all the force he could behind it in the rest of trying to lift it up. It was becoming easier for him. He smiled as he did it now. He looked at Shinzu as he struggled to get it into position. "It's okay Sensei. You'll get it this time." He gave the man a thumbs up as he adjusted it so it wouldn't fall the moment he left. He nodded to himself. Sure it was secure and moved back to his safety spot. He was really glad he was able to help.

Shinzu smiled at Tenko as he walked back up to the log and took another deep breath before attacking it. Unlike last time he dropped down just a little further, so as to increase the angle that he kicked the tree. Lo and behold he launched the log into to the air yet again. Tenko ran over to the fallen log and smiled. 'It looked like it worked that time.' He thought to himself as he just got to the log. He looked at the log and studied it before attempting to lift it. He got low as he put his hands under the log. He began to lift with his legs but his stance changed as the ground beneath him shifted under the strain. He slid a little bit before he dropped to a knee still holding the log. He looked at it and growled. His enemy was forcing him to take a knee while under it. He smiled as he tried to shift his legs to get a better stance but nothing was working. He tried to think of what to do but nothing would come to him. He took a deep breath as the log rested on his good shoulder.

Tenko ran the log over his arm then back down to his shoulder as he thought about what to do. He put on hand on the ground as he began to use that to help push the log up right. He staggered under its weight and the odd position he was holding it but he slowly found his footing as he began to work at it hard. He smiled as he pushed it upright. He twisted the heavy log into the ground and smiled. He wiped the sweat that started to bead on his forehead and looked at Shinzu. The boy had a boyish grin as he looked at Shinzu. He seemed to be having fun... Was that possible? He laughed as he ran back to his spot and waited for Shinzu to make another kick. "You can do it Shinzu-Sensei!" Called from his safety spot. Shinzu smiled but instead of approaching the log he moved over and sat in the shade of a tree for a second. Relaxing and enjoying the shade just sat there for a few moments before finally getting up and returning to the tree. Taking his breath and going through his whole ruetine unfortunately he failed in the actual execution of the technique. Roll (7) + Str (8 ) = 15 vs 18 Fail 2/10 (+2 to your next roll)

Tenko ran back to the log and then looked at Shinzu. He thought to himself as he lifted the log slightly. "This log is starting to feel a little lighter every time I do this.... Does that mean my arms are going numb? OH NO MY ARMS!!!!' He looked at Shinzu and when Tenko noticed he wasn't looking he bit his arm and winced. 'Nope... They still feel pain.' He lifted the log up to his center and rested on his bend legs. He used the moment to shift his hold and on the log and pushed with his upper body. He smiled as he slowly twisted the log back into place. It seemed to be right. Tenko gave Shinzu the thumbs up and a smile as he ran back to his spot. He didn't mind helping Shinzu. It was kinda fun, and he got to learn how his elders learned.

Shinzu just couldn't seem the get the technique right now, no matter how often he tried he kept messing up the angle of attack. All he'd managed to do so far was to knock the tree over time and time again. He couldn't just give up though, he only had a week till the next section of the Exams, and he needed to pass. He'd been relatively useless during thier time on the island, his only success was being faster then the others. Roll (7) + Str (8 ) = 15 vs 18 Fail 2/10 (+2 to your next roll)

((8 x 20= 160 270 - 160 = 110 CP left))[Fail] Batsu made his way to the grove and found himself a nice little spot for him to train in. Without hesitation he went to practicing. It was his old friend ninjutsu and he wasn't to thrilled about it. The technique wasn't exactly necessary but one more attacking jutsu wouldn't hurt. The boy looked down at the scroll and saw the first thing he had to do was convert his chakra into pure lightning. He remembered having trouble with this before and it made him sick to his stomach. But maybe this time would be different. The boy looked down at his hand as he tried to convert it all into lightning... nothing. ((-8 CP)) [Pass] Already the boy was getting frustrated. He had done this thing before... the same exact thing! Now he had trouble all over again and he was pissed. The boy looked down at his hand and scowled heavily as he tried again to convert his chakra. For some strange reason, it actually worked this time. Batsu was happy about this as he watched his hand. However, Batsu knew that he was far from done with the jutsu. After shutting the chakra flow off from his hand and started working towards finishing the jutsu off. ((-8 CP)) [Pass] The boy was on the right track and couldn't be happier. Hopefully he could keep the streak going as much and as fast as possible. The boy looked down at his hand again as he molded more of his chakra and transform that into pure lightning. As he forced more of his life force into his hand, he watched intently to see what would happen. It looked as though that lightning struck twice, because his hand immediately started to fill up with lightning chakra and he actually started to crack a smile. ((-8 CP)) [Fail] Batsu shook the chakra off of his hand and went straight to work on his fourth try. The boy kept looking down at his hand and watched to see the lightning chakra that he expected to see. Unfortunately this was not the case. His chakra came out fine, but there was some sort of snag in trying to convert the chakra into pure lightning. Oh well, it was no big deal to him. After all, it wasn't like he never failed before... especially while dealing with elemental chakra. ((-8 CP)) [Fail] Batsu shut his chakra flow off for a second as he started to reset the technique. After a bit he got right back into the swing of his training. The boy lifted his arm up to eye level and he stared straight as his hand. The boy then went straight to forcing chakra into his hand but he forgot that his goal was to CONVERT the chakra. As he watched pure chakra flow into his hand he winced. He then realized that he had screwed up by forgetting to convert.. Batsu sighed a bit in disgust as he shut the chakra flow off again. [Pass] Batsu felt a bit embarrassed at the fact that he forgot to go through the chakra conversion process. Hopefully it wouldn't happen again. After that pathetic display, Batsu was quick to shut his chakra off. Now with the boy in combat mode he pulled his arm out again and forced chakra towards his hand. Now he remembered that he was supposed to turn his chakra into lightning energy and he did just that. The boy managed toconvert his chakra into lightning and he smirked as he recalled the clumsy mistake that he made. [Pass] Batsu was inching closer and closer to finishing this part of the jutsu and it was fine by him. He hated this part when it came to other jutsu and it was only natural that he hated it with this jutsu as well since it was the same exact thing. So the boy went and shook the previous jutsu off of his hand and went for a repeat. It came to be a success and he had no issues when he looked at it. The boy was happy about it and immediately shook it off again. [Fail] As he finished doing the last jutsu, he started to notice how demanding the jutsu was in terms of burning up CP. He knew that lightning jutsu was the most powerful of the four basic elements and thusly it required the most CP. However it was much to be said about the fact that training allow was draining him as fast as he was trying to go. At this rate he would need to take a break and soon. The boy was gonna pass out from using too much chakra if he wasn't careful. [Fail] Batsu stared at his hand and noticed that he was still expelling chakra as he started pondering about taking a break. He wanted to but also wanted to also push himself. The sooner he finished this, the quicker he could move on. Batsu had one more jutsu that he hoped to finish before soon and this jutsu was taking more out of him than he even expected. Oh well, it gave him a chance at becoming a formidable opponent later on down the line. [Pass] Batsu groaned a bit as he felt himself start to sweat. Go figure. It was to be expected that Batsu would start perspiring. After all, he was putting a tremendous amount of energy into this training. The boy wiped sweat off of his brow and went right back to work. The chakra filled up in his hand and within mere milliseconds it all transformed into lightning chakra. It crackled and trashed violently in his hand and he was happy about it. Who know just how much power the force held. He would find out on day for sure. [Fail] It took him a minute, but Batsu cut off the previous successful attempt and he closed his eyes. He concentrated on how much chakra he had left in his entire being. He detected that he had just a little bit left and if he wanted to keep on training then he would need to take a bit of a break to build up enough energy again. But he had enough in him to keep going and he had no problems doing so. He really wanted to do so and finish as quickly as possible. [Fail]Batsu looked at his hand as he shut the jutsu down in its entirety. The boy then looked around the grove and wondered jutsu how much the are would be affected if and when he learned the jutsu completely. The surge of lightning was sure to do something to the tree and the animals that were near. One thing he didn't want to do was kill any lesser life forms. He loved nature in its splendor and anything that was effected by him in such a drastic way would cause his heart to break. [Pass] Batsu continued to look around at the atmosphere and he groaned. It was starting to feel as though he wasn't progressing at the rate that he wanted to. Nevertheless he kept going on with this portion of the jutsu. The boy forced more of his chakra to his hand and he went on with the coversion process. The boy watched intently to make sure he was doing it right. Sure enough, he did it. Lightning consumed the palm of his hand and he smiled. Despite the success, he could feel more of his reserve of chakra slip from his fingers... literally. [Fail] Batsu decided that things were going to go just a little bit different. Rather than let the chakra go and try another attempt, he wanted to see how long he could keep his chakra going. With that in mind, Batsu kept the lightning going. It actually amused him a great deal. The crackling sound from the lightning alone made him smile as he listened in on it, ignoring everything else. He wondered just how much he'd be able to hear if more chakra was put in. [Fail] The lights flickering in Batsu's hand continued to dance about a** he kept the chakra going. The boy looked down at the ground as he did so he watched the shadows dance around there. Batsu's smile continued to grow as he watched in amazement. The lights danced, the sound of the lighning's crackle filled the air and Batsu's chakra continued to go down as he kept the element alive. [Fail] Batsu continued to lollygag as he kept the technique going on his hand. The boy actually got the nerve to have a seat under the tree as he continued to burn up his chakra even more to feed the lightning in his hand. The blaze still flickered with intensity as Batsu kept it going. Eventually Batsu was going to have to let the lightning die out so he could continue on with the rest of his jutsu. But for now he wanted to keep the lightning chakra around... even if it was of no tangible use to Batsu at the moment. [Fail] More of the boy's chakra was forced into the boy's hand and continued to fuel the energy that went through his hand. Surprisingly enough, the boy still had enough to go on and what made THAT even better was that this was the longest he ever held his chakra up. Once upon a time he could do only one move before having to take a break. Now he could do that and more without tiring. Man, it's amazing how time flies as a ninja. Hopefully he could look back a few years from now and think the same thing about learning new jutsu. [Fail]Okay... Batsu needed to get back to his training and use his chakra for finishing of the technique. That meant that the lightning in his hand needed to go. So Batsu did just that. He slowly started to pull back on the amount of chakra going into his hand. This caused the lightning to die down. As more chakra was forced back, the lightning continued to die. Eventually it became nothing more than a flicker and even that went away when it shot flow off altogether. Tenko ran to the log and smiled as he slid a hand underneath it. He was positive that he was getting stronger. Watching Shinzu kick the log was fun. He was amazed how Shinzu never cried out in pain. He shrugged and left that last part up for rethinking for another day. He grabbed the log and began to push it up. He stopped and caught it with his legs. He took a moment or two to catch his breath before he continued. He lifted the log the rest of the way and gave a 'Hmph' like it was no big deal. On the inside he was jumping up and down. He thought that it was maybe his fault that Shinzu kept messing up so he made it so that one of Shinzu's kicks would send it into the air... Or well at least he hoped. He nodded to Shinzu as he walked passed, back to his spot.
