Certain Elders, prehaps... other you'll find have more... unusual tastes. And expectations.
*Ice's eyes were glowing slightly, head slighly cocked to one side - a sure sign he was building the excuse to do exactly as he pleased.*
We had a man once, part of a VERY high ranking Sabbat pack. The rite they'd used on him buried him so depe in our structure even HE thought he was one of us. Imagine his suprise when he found the shadows darkening under him the day I started tearing his tendons out one by one because I was suspicious. HE thought he was Gangrel.
*Ice was leering, coming to lean on the table Volundr was sat at, his weight causing it to creak*
You wanna try and come up with a reason why I shouldnt treat you the same or shall we just get down to business and I can satisfy myself you ARENT Sabbat?

'Damnit' Volundr thought to himself 'This is where its gonna get touchy' After a short pause the fledgling gave a slow deliberate answer.
"I have no reasons for you not to suspect me and if I did it would make it look more suspicious. As far as where my allegiances lie; I was sired as a practical joke and got away. The only reason I sympathize with the Camarilla is because Iden found me and pushed me toward Raoul. Now I'm working off my room and board.
He knew he was playing a dangerous card here and it would probably go badly, but lying or half truths wouldn't get him any further in this little spar and would probably bite him in the a** down the road. He just took a breath and steeled his resolve for what was coming.

Non-commital... whats wrong? Didnt sort your story out with your pack before you turned up on our doorstep?
*Ice was grinning. It was clear from his expression he didnt believe for a SECOND Volundr was working for the enemy. But it made a perfect excuse for doing exactly as he liked to the poor fledgling whose only wrong doing had been in being near Iden at the wrong moment.*
Stand up, hands flat on the table. I suggest not trying anything NOT for your own good... but because I'll enjoy it.

"Why would any pack bother send somone less than a season dead? Seems like a pointless waste to me." Volundr remarked as he complied with Ice's instructions.
He made himself a mental challenge as to how long he could keep a comprehensible argument going through the upcoming trial. As he waited on the Elder there was a small half hearted smirk gracing the neonates lips.

Who says you're a season dead? Could be older and good at acting...
*Ice was smirking in turn as he moved around the table and behind Volundr. As soon as he was out of the fledglings line of sight, he plucked two needles of his own hair from his head, then moved faster than sight to ram them THROUGH the younger cainites hands and into th table, pinning him there. Haemoxinate, the bane of all cainites, pumped out of each needle and woudl slow Volundr's Disciplines as Ic ethen moved in close behind the Lasombra and started what was for now an innocent enough pat down and search. If Volundr had heard ANY of the usual tales about Ice, he would know it wasnt going to stay tame for long*

Volundr grunted as the spikes were jabbed into his hands. Feeling the blood there die was what cued him off as to thier composition. He had made a point tonight of not using his diciplines either. He was glad for the spikes. They made it easier.
As Ice conducted his search Volundr was glad he didn't bring anything with him. Not even so much as pocket lint. As the Elder continued his perogative Volundr made his retort.
"If I was that good of an actor then I missed my path in life. I bet it would pay better than gruntwork."

Maybe you have an account in Sweden your masters are paying in to... gotta make a pretty penny running THIS gauntlet, right? I must be worth a small fortune in bonus to Sabbat moles....
*Almost disappointed Volundr was unarmed, Ice wasnt about to stop at a casual pat down. Hell, he wasnt intending to stop at a full on cavity search. That in mind, he rested his hands on Volundr's shoulders and smirked as the line of his body pressed into the fledgling's.*
Dont move and you wont get hurt...
*Claws shot out of his fingers, then raked down Volundr's body, slicing through his clothing. As long as he stayed still, he'd only have his clothes torn from him and not a scrap of skin scratched. If he moved.... well, Ice was against spilling blood, and he DID want Volundr uncomfortably naked*

Being bottom rank, taking orders was what Volundr was used to. He repressed a shudder as Ice leaned into him but felt relieved as the cool air hit his skin. It was getting hot in here.
"I've yet to see any cash passed my way, but if I ended up selling you out I wouldn't settle for a SMALL fortune. It wouldn't be worth even considering."
Then settling on a mischevious though he spoke again.
"Your confidence in my abilities is amusing but flattery won't get you anywhere with me."

My my...
*Ice paused as he tossed the ruined cloths behind him and moved ot Volundr's side*
Sharp tongue for someone who knows he's in for the worst experiance of his life... better do something about it.
*Ice was strong. Strong in the way only the truly old could be. Like every inch of his tendons was made of steel cable. He grabbed Volundr's chin and turned his head, then rammed his thumb and finger into the edges of his jaw to force him to part open his mouth. Was came next was obvious and inevitable, Ice aiming to invade the fledgelings mouth and vilolate it with his own tongue, almost DARING him to do something as stupid as bite*

As Ice opened his mouth, Volundr sighed as if bored. It wasn't as much fun if he couldn't make snide little remarks all the while. It felt good to think that he actually succeeded in slightly irritating the elder a little. Given his current position though there wasn't much he could do beside wait dociley and formulate his next reposite; so he stood and watched Ice with curiosity as to his next move.

*Docilety in the young was unsual. Ice KNEW Volundr wasnt Sabbat. He was just using that as an excuse. So he'd expected the usual response of the newly dead who had NOT been gay before the Embrace to his touch - fear and revulsion. It seemed Volundr was made of sterner stuff, or at least knew when someone was trying to push his buttons. It was almost admirable. Almost, but for the fact a harder nut to crack always tasted sweeter to Ice...
The Elder grinned. This was what he had wanted. Now he had an EXCUSE to violate Volundr that Raoul and the other Syn could not turn against him. The kid was his to do with as he pleased. That said, he broke contact with the boy, ran a hand up to his skull, then pressed Volundr down into the table, moving his weight behind the fledgling to pin him down as he leaned in and spoke almost conversationally*
Im going to violate every inch of your body and mind until youbeg for me to stop and will sell me your own mother just to get away. Im goign toget to know you inside and out sweetheart and when Im done with the obvious ways, Im going to make new holes and start all over again. I can craft flesh and bone and if you struggle or complain I WILL bind your bones together and seal your lips in a very literal sense, though screaming is allowed. You will thank me at the end of all this because if you do not, I will put the order into your head that you are to come back when you are healed and you WILL do it, or I will hunt you down and make it twice as bad. Do you understand, toy?
*Ice was almost laughing as he snarled the words and half explained intentions to Volundr, knowing he could very well do all of it and more. Volundr was truly about to learn why Elder;s could be so feared - they were simply inhuman*

Volundr winced as his face was ground into the old hardwood of the table but he grinned as he listened to the Elder's rant. It was true that Ice had the leeway to do with him as he wished but from what he had heard of Ice, his intent was to maim and scar, not kill. Ice had admitted to being an administrator and enforcer and he was taking time out of his schedule to solidify his reputation as a terror. Volundr wasn't going to give that to him though.
He saw Ice as a big turtle with a hard cold exterior but soft fleshy bits underneath, little nuggets of repressed personality. If you could get past his defenses then you could see the real person. And what a pitiful person that must be, having to make himself into a monster to keep the hordes of undead neonates in line; convincing himself that he enjoyed the pain he caused. Volundr however, was set on seeing what he was really like. So for now, he would follow the orders, and endure the pain.
Now that Ice had played the intimidation card Volundr had even more fodder for the verbal cannon he was launching.
"Ooh, that rules out playing nice for the evening I guess. I'll have to call in for hazard pay after this is over. But as to the selling out my mother bit, that won't work, I already ate her."

I could ressurect her if you like...
*Ice thought about delving into Volundr's mind briefly and ripping out the image of his mother, then assuming it for this little session, but... he preferred being male. If Volundr thought he coudl somehow unlock the mysteries of the demented faun during this session, he;d be sadly mistaken. True, prehaps once Ice HAD been a sad and lonely person who only knew how to express himself through violence but NOW... it had been too long since his death for him to even REMEMBER human values and the long and the short of it simply was he DID enjoy raping those weaker than himself. Which was nearly everyone. The experiance for both himself AND his victim fed him better than even vitae did and kept him satisfied between picking on his more usual targets.
Ice pressed Volundr harder into the table with one hand and rested his other on the fledgelings naked back. His skin was deathly cold, colder even than the normal undead, and then... it began to sink INTO the younger mans flesh. Digging down with practised ease and WITHOUT deadening any nerves, Ice wormed his digits through Volundr's body, closing his fist around the lowest rib. With a horrific tearing noise, he pulled the bone free, no pain killers, and tore it from Volundr's back. Stepping back to give the kid time to scream, Ice fashioned the bone into a half circle, which he woudl then place over Volundr's neck and ram down into the table so his neck was bound, preventing him from standing*

*stepping out of the shadows Azrael looked around to make sure he was alone. The old place seemed dull and unused, a far cry from its heyday. Azrael headed to the fridge and was pleased to find the place was still stocked.
Sitting down at a table in the corner he lit up a cigerette and ripped open a blood pack. Letting go of the restrictions on his reiatsu he knew it would only be a matter of time before someone turned up. Despite a large change in his appearance ((See avatar :p)) he knew that the people he would most need to see would recognise him through other means...*

Not often did Iden wander towards the tavern. The place was empty, and he had his own bar in Durem he ran. Well...used to run. The Turtle itself had long since been adopted under new management, with Iden as just a rubber stamp on things. He spent too much time dead, dying, or trying to avoid dying to really run the place.
So what brought him to the Tavern? Simple enough, really. He was passing by, and caught wind of his newly discovered sibling. He hadn't yet had the chance to really interact with the man, so it came down to an easy enough train of thought to follow. Iden wanted to know who he was. Sure, Roan and the others had passed on a few stories, but it was never the same as meeting someone in person.
About the time Azrael was lighting up, the door swung open. Iden, by this point, was back to his "normal" self. His unnaturally natural blue hair hung down the sides of his face, accenting the youthful features he bore. His dress was simple, consisting of a pair of jeans and a sleeveless shirt. Other than that, and the handful of scars on his bare arms between glove and shoulder, there wasn't much to see. Iden always had been one of the more normal looking of the family. Well, compared to Corbin, Yoh, and Dag at least.
