Kilik took a step back, clenching his fists tightly. He watched as Bahamut was bitten into and a sharp pain went through his head. Placing a palm to his forehead and shaking a bit, the boy sliced the air with his hand. "Bahamut, show Arbok what a real chomp is like! Use Crunch!" Bahamut let out a scream of pain when Arbok's teeth sunk into her wing. The Pokemon managed to pry it loose and flutter away, still shaking out of fear. She opened her mouth and flew in for Arbok's neck, clamping down tightly.
The real Electrode was hit hard and sent spinning into the opposite wall. When the dust cleared, the sphere came rolling in slowly. It was scratched heavily and was particularly less shiny than it was when he first appeared. The clones all vanished in an instant and left the real one behind. A smirk appeared on Walrus and Electrode's lips. He held his arms out wide and nodded. Electrode closed his eyes and began to glow brightly.
"Mike! He's going to blow!" Kilik called out, "I make Weezing do it all the time when he's about to lose!"

Nina felt dizzy. Dizzy and sick. And numb. And kind of confused. Where was she?
She opened her eyes, respirating quicker and harder than normal. At first, the light of the floodlights on the ceiling of the Gym caused her to squint and her vision to be distorted-- she couldn't see straight, and was only just barely able to make out the shapes of those around her. She felt someone's arms around her-- was it Raimundo? Was it Whitney? Was it Sabrina?
Not quite. It was Anastasia. She chuckled a little when her vision cleared, smiling a bit at the five Pokemon around her, and her own six Pokemon that were distanced a bit behind them. Her eyes trailed back to look up at Oracle. "Hi," she said softly. The Psychic Pokemon smiled. "Hello, Nina. How are you feeling?" "Umm, a little tired. Kinda dizzy. But I'm okay." "Excellent. Knowing this, I must ask you: Do you recall why you came here?" "Oh, um, yeah. I needed you guys to help me with something. Did you do it already?" "We did, actually. Let me reassure you entirely that your wish has been carried out to a T." Pause. "Do you remember what your wish was?"
Nina shook her head. This elicited a smile from all Pokemon surrounding her. "What?" she asked. "Is that a good thing?" Oracle nodded. "It most certainly is. Do you feel like you can stand now?" With a little bit of effort, her dizziness wearing off, and some help from Anastasia, Nina got to her feet, stumbling a little at first, then maintaining perfect posture. "Looks like I can." She smiled. Sabrina's Pokemon were beaming at one another. "Excellent," stated Oracle; "it... seems as if our work here is finished, then."
And then, Oracle physically walked to Nina and embraced her in a soft hug. It was a known fact that Alakazam had an extremely fragile body and used telekinesis to move itself from point A to point B, but after seeing that what the group of Pokemon had accomplished to better Nina's life (whether she realized it or not), Oracle felt compelled to hug the girl, whether she was endangering herself or not. Nina was a bit taken aback as well, but nonetheless returned the hug.
"Thank you," she whispered.
After a few moments more, when Oracle broke the hug, she requested herself and the others to be recalled in their Pokeballs. Nina obliged, and returned them to the PC.

For the past few days Mitsu had been stuck in a rut. All the training, the hard work, and progress she had made since leaving Mossdeep felt worthless. Lying down on the grass and facing the sky seemed to help her relax, even if it was just the slightest bit. "This is stupid," she muttered, "I'll never catch up to them."
She quickly stood up to her feet. The blood all but rushed down to her toes and she began to feel lightheaded. Clutching her head she waited a few moments till the dizziness wore down. She let out another sigh before walking though the clear doors of the local Pokemon Center. Verdanturf was a nice place she decided sitting down on the sofa with a can of soda she had recently purchased in one of the many vending machines.
Mitsu sat there, eyes closed, merely relaxing on the soft couch. She ran her fingers though her black hair, which held a tint of purple, with one hand and tightly grasped her white bandana with the other. Slowly opening her eyes she took a sip of the orange flavored soda. It had always been her favorite. "I wonder . . . what I should do next?" she asked herself. Being the Hoenn champ seemed so out of her league now, especially since she was always chasing after her friends, trying to keep up but never succeeding.
Mitsu took another long sip of the soda before placing the can on the table in front of her. “I suppose I should finish getting those badges. I owe it to my Pokemon,” she said her hands involuntarily brushed passed her six Pokeballs. I should put some effort into this training thing. She laughed inwardly before picking up the orange soda once more. I really should she thought while drinking the last bit of the carbonated beverage.

"Hmm..." Kasiya sighed, studying the Pokemon that had latched onto Ariel's tail closely. She approached the two aquatic Pokemon, trying to remember how she'd managed to pry Shiver from her leg whenever he felt the need to 'hug' her. "Okay you, let go," she said, reaching down to knock on the Shellder's shell. It didn't budge, only opened its eyes to look at the human before it's red, slimy tongue poked out her. "Seriously, let go of her," Kasiya grumbled, grabbing onto one of the spikes protruding from its shell and yanking with all her might. Ariel gave a small yelp as the Shellder clamped its shell even tighter, refusing to let go of its 'treasure'.
"Fine the, you asked for it!" Kasiya growled, angrily snatching a Pokeball from her belt and preparing to throw it. Ariel recognized the slot from which it came and shook her head furiously, knowing full well what her trainer was thinking. "You think that's too much then?" she sighed, looking at Shocker's Pokeball sadly. "You're right. That little guy has made me so angry though!" Thinking for a moment as she replaced the Pokeball onto her belt, she smiled. "I've got a better idea," she nodded, taking the last Pokeball from he belt instead. "I doubt that he's very strong, so I'm thinking Rosemary can handle it." Ariel smiled, agreeing with the less-irrational choice. Kasiya released the young Bayleef, who appeared in a flash of light. She looked down, wondering why her feet were wet, and prodded at the wet, wooden boards of the dock with a foot before looking up at Kasiya. "We need your help," Kasiya told her. "Ariel unintentionally caught a Shellder, and we need you to help get it off of her. Think you can help?"
Blinking, Rosemary looked to the pair of Water Pokemon, taking in the situation closely. From her understanding, Water Pokemon couldn't hurt her all that much, so she assumed the threat was fairly minimal. "Baay!" she nodded, waving her leaf around happily.

The psychic turned around and walked back to her own six Pokemon, a cute smile spread on her face. "Well, I guess everything went okay, right?" she asked. The Pokemon gave some sort of indication that it did. "Ah, awesome!" she giggled a little bit. "But... why'd I choose that whole... procedure or whatever to be taken care of in here? I mean, I know that Sabrina wouldn't have minded, but..."
Anna blinked. Since Nina never saw Sabrina die, she didn't know that ownership of the Gym had been passed onto her. "Well, the reason you chose to do it here," she said, "is because it's your own Gym, Nina." The girl blinked a little. "What, why?" "Oh, I thought I'd told you already! See, Sabrina and Professore Elm went to South America to study Celebi's effects on the damaged rainforests down there. She didn't know when she would return, but she left the Gym, her Pokemon, and all Gym Battles in your hands. She said she knew that you were the most responsible person for taking care of everything." "Oh. Huh. No, I guess you didn't tell me. But, if Sabrina was going off to do something as important as that, then my role is small and insignificant in comparison to hers. I'd do anything to help her, even if it is being the temporary Gym Leader." "Heh, yeah. She left just a little while after you guys got back from Mahogany Town. She was asked on the spur of the moment." "Ah, I completely forgot about Mahogany Town! Did-- we did manage to get the Gyarados back to the Lake of Rage, right?" "Nina, duh. Lance passed him off to you and you released him back. The machine that was trying to make him evolve was destroyed too, and Giovanni went crawling back to Viridian City while Lance went back to the Elite Four. Worked out pretty nicely, actually."
The latter sentence was potentially the biggest lie that Anna had ever told.
The ghost forced a little smile. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go float off to Celadon and tell Raimundo and Whitney the news and how everything worked out great. Be back in two shakes of Beacon's tail." With a little wink, the Ghost Pokemon vanished.
Better that you go than me, Nina thought. They both hate me right now.

If Anna was actually able to teleport to places like Oracle was, it would have made her life-- err, afterlife-- much simpler. The vanishing act she performed in front of Nina was just a type of cloaking ability she was able to develop over time. In reality, what she had done was simply cloak herself in front of Nina's eyes and pass through one of the Gym walls.
The night was exquisitely beautiful. Stars were coming into view as the sky turned black, and streetlights had already dotted the quiet streets of Saffron. Wait, Saffron's actually quiet for once? the ghost thought; That's rare. With little more deliberation, Anna flew throughout the city, her hair and underside billowing like a dress in the wind. Looking up to the stars every now and again, her necklace glowed briefly-- that was strange. Most Misdreavus would get nourishment from the fear that they had absorbed into their gems... so why were Anna's glowing?
Oh god.
Was Nina afraid of what had happened?
Small post compared to my other ones. xD

"Good then," Kasiya said happily, looking back to Ariel and giving her a thumbs-up. "Don't worry, we'll have that Shellder off of you in no time." The patient Vaporeon just closed her eyes and sighed, hoping she'd still have a tail when the ordeal was through. "All right Rosemary, we need to get it to lose interest in Ariel. Try hitting it with your Razor Leaf, but be careful not to hit Ariel," the girl said softly, knowing that even though Rosemary had an advantage over Ariel, their level difference would more than account for any accidents.
Planting her feet firmly, Rosemary uttered a soft "Bay!" before she swung her leaf forcefully, sending a trio of sharp leaves spinning towards the Shellder. Two of them missed their target entirely, while the third ricocheted off the nearly impervious shell of the Bivalve Pokemon. The purplish creature opened its eyes, startled by the sudden attack. Turning its body as much as it could without releasing its hold on Ariel, it glared at Rosemary through the slight opening in its shell, a bit of foam seeping from the crevice.
"Well, at least we got its attention," Kasiya stated quite obviously, which resulted in another dirty look from Ariel.

The sleeping Mareep was pulled inside the Pokeball with relative ease, and landed gently in the soft grass. Lily ventured towards it as it slowly moved back and forth, her large, round eyes watching with the utmost curiosity. Miharu dared not take a step, even though she really didn't know why, and even after the Pokeball made a clicking sound and ceased in its movements she remained rooted to the spot.
"Bulba," said Lily happily, nodding at the Pokeball that now held the little sheep Pokemon inside. The Bulbasaur glanced towards her trainer, and after noticing that the girl hadn't moved, shook her head and used a vine to pick up the red and white capsule. "Saur," she said, nudging the girl's leg with her head, using more force until Miharu blinked back into reality and looked down at her Pokemon.
"We did it," she said, kneeling down next to Lily and taking the Pokeball from her. "We captured Mareep, Lily!"
"Bulba-saur!" the grass Pokemon replied cheerfully, letting a small amount of pink flower petals rain down on them from the bulb on her back.
Miharu pressed the button on the Pokeball, and Mareep appeared beside them, still sound asleep. Gently, the girl stroked the electric Pokemon's head until her eyes opened, and she looked at both the human and the Bulbasaur curiously. "Maaa?" she asked, catching sight of the Pokeball that had captured her.
"It's okay, we want to be friends with you," Miharu said gently, holding out her hand once more for the Pokemon to smell. It did just that, and after a moment, seemed to be content with the situation. After exchanging some sort of dialogue with Lily, it turned back to Miharu. "I would like to name you Sparkle, since your wool gets all sparkly when you use Thundershock," the girl went on, to which Sparkle let out a happy cry, agreeing with her new name.

"Are you crazy?!" The other Rocket shouted, quite angry with his partner. "That'll take out all of OUR Pokemon too!" Too distracted with his anger towards the large man to his side, he didn't notice his Arbok passed out on the floor, the last Crunch attack doing too much damage.
Master, I do believe this is where you would say, 'Oh s**t'. The Breloom thought spoke with a smirk, cautiously eying the igniting Electrode. It was a most peculiar Pokemon, as happiness and combustion is something he'd peg as more of a Nitro or Felsic thing. Not his little Napalm though, he was far to cute to be as brutish, at least not yet.
Mike stepped back, happy that he had some distance between the two. You're right P.B., and now, not to disappoint the fans. "Oh s**t!" Unfortunately for his Pokemon, he was no less than four feet from the soon to be crater. This was bad, he would rather not see his adorable little 'shroom a smear mark on the wall. Looking around quickly, he soon took note of an old rickety door on the side of the room. It was about thirty feet from where his Pokemon was standing, but he was confident that it would cause no major damage if the blast was contained there. Portabello! Kick Electrode into that closet over there! He said, pointing to the nearly broken wooden door to the side.
Quite amused at this plan, Portabello sprinted forward, landing in front of the Electrode with a smirk. Take this you overgrown combustible soccer ball! Rearing his foot back, thrusting it forward, hoping to send the kamikaze Pokemon far away from him.

Kilik ran this thumb over his nose, noticing his Vibrava's victory over the snake. When he heard Mike's command for Electrode to be kicked, his eyes widened. "What're you, nuts?" He slapped his forehead, "When Weezing's about to blow, any physical contact will blow it up immediately!" The boy glanced over at Vibrava, who was sitting on Arbok's back with a smile on her face. At least, the best that a Vibrava could smile. She fluttered over to Kilik, chittering in a excited manner as Portabello was rearing the kick back.
Walrus braced himself for impact. When Portabello's foot connected with the glowing Electrode's side, a loud whine echoed in the Gym and a very loud explosion occured. His beard and very little remaining hair fluttered in the wind.
Bahamut was directly above the Explosion when it occured and was sent spiralling upwards into the ceiling. She connected to the stone then came crashing down to the floor in front of Kilik. The boy held his hands up in front of him, getting a few pieces of rubble in his hands and hair. "Bahamut, are you...nevermind." He lifted up the Pokeball and recalled the fallen partner, clipping it to his belt. He glanced over at Mike. "At least we won."

Let's review the source material here: Bugsy has had a stressful day. He lost three Gym bouts, one of which to an insipid little twerp who thought he could spit gold nuggets if he willed it as such. Granted, Ky and that other girl weren't bad, but a loss still stunk. Then his town gets terrorized by Team Rocket, something no Gym Leader wants to have to deal with. On the other hand, he got to use Haracross and kick some major butt, so in the end that worked out alright. But the point was that it was still tiring, and he was planning on having a nice rest and waking up early to tend to his garden. But what do you know, this happens!
"You know what?" Busgy finally replied, gripping his hair in his right palm as he held the other across his waist. "Just, get out. Now. I'll think about what I'm going to do with you." The eleven year old rubbed his head, staring blankly at a few strands of purple hair he must have 'liberated' in frusteration while grabbing like that. "NOW!"

Ariel, now fed up with the situation, decided to take matters into her own paws, and with a powerful thrash of her tail, forced the Shellder to release its grip on her and bound across the dock, bouncing like an oddly shaped ball of sorts. It skidded to a halt just in front of Rosemary, who looked at the Pokemon curiously before attempting to sniff it, only to have the Pokemon snap at her, which in turn caused her to stumble back; her eyes wide with fright.
"It wants to fight now, Rosemary," Kasiya told the Grass Pokemon, who seemed to be thinking that perhaps this wasn't such a great idea. She didn't have much time to think anything else, however, because quite soon the purple Pokemon launched itself forward for a Tackle attack that caught the Bayleef off guard. Blinking, Rosemary stumbled back even further. "Don't let it scare you, Rosemary! You can defeat it! Tackle it right back!" Kasiya called encouragingly.
"Bay!" Rosemary cried, gritting her teeth and lowering her head. She charged forward, throwing her weight into the Shellder. The Bayleef was a good size larger than her opponent, and her retaliatory attack caught the Pokemon off guard. It quickly clamped its shell shut, seemingly hiding from the battle. This wasn't the case as soon its shell creaked open a bit, and a volley of sharp icicles were fired from its open mouth - four in all.

"Well excuse me for not having time bombs on my team you-" Any possible cussing and name calling afterward were obliterated by the deafening sound of the Explosion. Mike braced himself as a wall of wind and smoke crashed into him, the boy barely keeping his balance. "Oh s**t, Portabello!" He cried out, looking frantically in the dust cloud. Hopefully the shock of the blast made the hit a sudden, painless knockout.
For once luck was on his side...kinda. Mike found his Pokemon, face first in a trench of granite. The end result of the detonation didn't look like it provided Portabello with a very comfortable KO. "Yikes." Was all the boy could muster, recalling his Pokemon and staring at the Ultra Ball he called home. "Sorry for that buddy, I really had no idea it would just...well, explode like that." Now he felt stupid, but no sense in beating himself up for it. "Well now, that was certainly an odd way to battle." Mike looked over and noticed his Rocket foe was already gone.
"So..." He turned to Kilik. "What now?"

After asking a few people if they'd seen her, Keegan followed the vague directions he'd received towards the harbor area, wondering where Kasiya was. After all, she had said that she wanted to leave soon, although it wasn't unlike her to get distracted easily. His search was short lived, as he soon came upon his quarry, as well as her Pokemon. Her Vaporeon had just forcibly removed a Shellder from her tail, and it had decided to engage Rosemary, the Bayleef, in combat. He winced at the sight of the tackles being exchanged; knowing that even lower-level attacks like that still packed somewhat of a decent punch. He too hadn't been expecting the strange clam-like creature to follow up with Icicle Spear, as it seemed the Withdraw was nothing more than a clever ruse to catch the Bayleef off guard. Keeping his distance from the battle, Keegan wandered a little closer, quietly releasing Althena, who looked down at the seawater with mild interest before jumping in. The quirky Psyduck seemed content to just swim around, and she looked imploringly at Keegan for him to join her, but he shook his head, having no interest in getting wet just now.

It had not taken Dante nearly as long as he thought it would to find his next two recipients. He smiled slightly as he thought of them. While it had taken him a little while to find the two in the city. However from his perch on top of Apollo's back he eventually spotted them. Stearing Apollo over he didn't get off of his back as the large Rapidash stepped onto the dock his hard hooves making clopping sounds on the wood. Stopping next to the red headed boy he had a small smile on his face as he leaned on Apollo. "Long time no see Keegan." He said his voice carring a tone of amusement to it. Apollo recognizing the boy nudged him happily and held his head up high as if to show off his new more powerful form. Dante just laughed at his pokemon's actions. He had decided to enjoy there company while they still traveled with him.
