She looked up at Vincent, her brown eyes filling with tears, but she refused to release them. She nodded, more to reassure herself. "The shadows threw light into the sky, but it was....wrong light. I-It hurt when it hit me, but I saw...I saw their faces....I cried for my mama, but....I couldn't find her. She didn't answer." ROse lowered her head and took a breath. "One of them stood over me and.....I woke up."

Ukaaihugged her gently she kissed the top of the little girls head
"Poor thing.. Your dream is scarrier then mine is" she semi lied

Vincent frowned, then smoothed the girl's hair, lightly brushing against her ears. "I see..." he murmured, then sighed. "That sounds like a doozy of a nightmare. It's okay to cry." he added gently, smiling tenderly. "We all have to, sometimes." Then he pulled back, kneeling on the floor, leaving Ukaia to do the main comforting.

Ukaia tried to pull him closer to her so she coud snuggle aginst him while she comforted the little girl
"it is very ok to cry hun" she said quietly

She leaned into the hug, sniffing lightly. "I-I....that's all I remember....when I woke up....I was in the town that's down the road....

Vincent sat down, then hugged Ukaia from behind, including Rose in the embrace. He didn't speak, just waited, hoping the girl would give in and cry. It wasn't healthy to keep tears back, especially when they stemmed from something like what she'd described.

Ukaia hugged her tightly and rocked her soflty
"oh poor little one.. You're safe here"s eh said kissing her on the top of the head
"i promice rose it's safe here.. "s eh said quietly
"Vincent is very good at protecting" she murmmued then wrapped her tail around his waist

Rose felt her lip start trembling and she cried onto Ukaia, hiding her face against the woman's chest.

"There there.. let it all out" she whispered soflty rocking the girl gently and hugging her kissing the top of her head again

"Blay-nii-san took me to the village and all over where we lived and I can't find my mama!!" She tightened a fist around the cloth on Ukaia's clothing. "His scrying didn' work either!"

"He told me that a friend of his might know how to fix everything," she said, lifting her face away from Ukaia. "Blay-nii-san is the only family I have that wasn't there...."

Uakai gently wiped her tears away and she smiled.
"Well then you have Blay nii san.. and that's good" she said quietly

Vincent smiled and stroked Rose's hair, then paused. "Maybe I could give you something to help manage the dreams." He told her. "It wouldn't stop them, but it might help ease the fear."
