Tristam went into the shower once the water was warm, sighing softly in relief. He couldn't remember the last time he had a shower, let alone a bed to sleep in. Some days being a wonderer had a high price. Oh well, at least it made the time he had comfort even better. He stood under the warm water, doing nothing at all, for a couple of moments, letting his hearing be block by the rushing water.

If he was concerned about her exhaustion he didn't show it, though did move into a position where she could lean against his chest as she drank. The fact that she was awake and was now sitting had been all the indication he'd need that she'd be fine.
"You should find someone who loves you"
He spoke his thoughts quietly. She had saved him from himself today and whilst he was grateful for it, he knew that she didn't have to, probably shouldn't have saved him. He, of all people, had caused more hurt to her than any other and he wanted her to be happy and to avoid hurting her futher.

Shikoba went about fixing up his shells. He had set them on his bed after throwing a pair of pants on but that was about it. So he just sat and waited for Tristam to get done.

Tristam took a good half hour to take a shower, getting out of the tub, his body was dry suddenly by a wind that only affected him, nothing else in the bathroom. He smooth down his fur and hair, his feathers going to their place by themselves. His clothes appeared on him, clean and dry. He smiled and walked out of the bathroom, purrring softly to himself.

Roxie squealed and giggled as she was scooped up. She made and attempt to squrim away, even tried to hide at the kisses, but she didn't mean the attemps. Just playing, she fought to escape exclaiming, "I have been caught!" Giggling more, she smiling, she gave her father a kiss on the cheek and a hug, one happy girl.

"Uh.. you're not one to hurt people.. and you'd hurt them even less if they loved you"
His suprise showed in his voice. As far as he was aware, she didn't go around hurting those who she spent quality time with or possibly even loved. Not that he was sure about the love bit, love wasn't a subject he understood easily.

Raven looked to him. She shook her head and took another drink.
"It doesn't have to intentional...but your so deep in my blood, I find it hard to turn to another."
She found Joe to be a drug...and a damn good drug but one she couldn't shake from her system, and she didn't want to.
"I can't return one's love when you're around and it hurts me even more when you aren't around...It's just crazy."
She felt herself slipping into that girlish fantasy of where if she said those three little words everything would be okay...yet her heart and soul knew better. Those same three little words shattered everything for her.

This was news to him, he had thought she'd be able to find happiness anywhere she wanted. The fact that she didn't and was telling him that she needed him was strange.
He shook his head as he stroked her hair and gently told her.
"You need someone who can love you, you know I can't. I can't even just have sex with you, let alone love you"
He had no idea what made her want him by her side. Understandable was her lust for him, but even that should have dispeared whilst he had been gone.

She reached over to set the cup down so nothing else would spill and just snuggled into him while he stroked her hair.
"I don't want anyone else..."
She inhaled deeply. She didn't trust herself with anyone else.
"And I'm not asking you to love me. I know it's impossible..."
How could she asked that when she knew it couldn't happen?
"And I don't need someone who can love me....I can't love them back."

He sighed a little.
"You need someone who can look after you then, someone who won't cause stress and worry. Even if you refuse to love them."
He knew what he had seen between Arioch and Song and wanted Raven to experience that type of happiness the two shared.

She was glad she was too tired to do much of anything but cuddle. Even her voice showed she was tired desite her want to talk.
"Isn't that what Arioch's for? To keep our sanity and make sure we're not under stress?"

His ideas of what Arioch were for were much different from Ravens, seeing the older demon as a mentor and a sex partner rather than a protector.
He held her close before he spoke again, having picked up on her tiredness.
"You should sleep some more, it'll help"

Raven held him close. What they would do in the future she wasn't sure. She wanted to love him, keep him at her side and never let him go..yet voices in her head told her it couldn't be done.
She soon gave up to sleep, her arms wrapped around him.

He held her a little longer, watching her sleep, before slipping away from her, tucking her in and kissing her forehead before leaving the room.
He knew how much she needed the rest and knew that if he stayed around for too much longer, they'd do something stupid. Besides, he was wide awake and well fed and bored.
Thus, he wandered through the house, wondering what had happened to Zaro.

Zaro was in the kitchen, happily nibbling away at some avocados and nuts, a little oblivous to her master's searching of her. her wings did a tiny flutter as she took a bite of avocado.
She was a little worried to her master's condition as he didn't seem to be okay when he first came.
