Six-hundred-and-thirty-four, now never ask for a point value again while staying here. In fact, buy the relevant IA volume or patiently await the release of the Apocalypse book comign this October, WHICH WILL CONTAIN ALL THE RULES, STATS AND POINT VALUES OF MANY SUPER HEAVIES.

And then there's you growing your own personal Black Library.
I bet you're a tad pissed. 4 or 5 worths of pretty books condesed into lists and re-shashed images in a book that'll go for about 30 quid? XD

Nuclearwinter King Kento Josef Gafencu King Kento I think the porrly made sequel to crusade for armegeddon had the ork bunters saying "Frik, Frikken" and so on. Which was realistic I thought, after so long simple slang for freak and freaking become their own words. Armageddon is based partly on German themes, correct?
I direct you to this.
Ah-ha, tis genius! Not that Im aware of. Perhaps, but we're talking about ork hunters in a jungle, not the hive born types which I do believe there are some germanic themes.
Ive seen this before, and my problem with it is, Ive studied german for 4 years and know natives, I have yet to hear anyone say frichen as a swear, or anything but to hit. Not even when reffering to hitting something or sexual innuendo. Hell, some germans say ********. It could still be true, but so far I have yet to find anything going that way.
Still was a hunorous video to me before I tried to prove it right. The Death Korps of Krieg is heavily based on the German WWI and II armies. Plus, I believe "Krieg"means "war" in German. (so in complete english, they're actually called the Death Corps of War, lol it rymes) Im aware that krieg means war and that theyre based on germans, any reason youre replying ot me with this? I was discussing the second book in the black templar armegeddon books. So now you have me confused.

-Mykal Just because GW is crapping out stat sheets for the masses doesn't mean that FW is out of business. Sure, I am one of the few people stupid enough to buy their books, but that is because I love the way they don't use their books just for rules, which make up about 10% of the deal, the rest of the book is used to represent these vehicles as real as possible. I mean dimensions, weight, technical drawings that make the old IG codex drawings look like kiddie doodles and photos, both colour and BW that look convincing, not the photoshop s**t that GW is pulling on their box designs with the invasion of bright colours and dark backgrounds.

Do you think that FW should seperate, and do it's own plastics/boxed?

They can't financially. While they are a separate wing of GW, much like BL, they are not separate in the financial department. Plus they produce their stuff in low numbers, something they can hardly mass-produce on a large scale without a GW-style reduction of quality and service.
I'm not quite sure how far GW reaches into FW as of yet, but back then GW pulled the plug on both Warhammer Monthly (comic) and Inferno! (short stories), they robbed BL of a good income source that also brought them new talent at a great rate. This also limits BL to hosting a writing contest every six months to see if they can get new talent aboard.
But I digress.
FW would not be able to go solo a full 100% from GW, they don't have the capabilities or the full target audience for that.

Holy s**t... baneblades ahoy.
And while I admire the dedication to fluff and consistancy, is it really nessecary to give hardened fighters to your heavy weapons teams?

(and give em sharpshooters)

(and give em sharpshooters) I stick to the fluff, no buts or changes for me. So no, I am not dropping extra Doctrines just to get sharpshooters for some support squads. While I am a big fan of sharpshooters for support squads (my Cadians are great users of that Doctrine, much to the chagrin of others) I am sticking to the GW published Krieg doctrines for now*. If the troops are hardened fighters, then all troops are just that. Same with the die-hards doctrine, if they can have it, they'll get it. Plus well, WS4 guardsmen sound like a waste to some, but I personally welcome the idea. If anything, I'd like the special equipment: carapace armour doctrine in my army, just for the Death Riders, whom are modeled with that strapped on. If you don't get this bit, reread the special equipment section until you do.* That is of course, until I can scrounge up a copy of Imperial Armour 5 - the Siege of the Vraks and build up a proper Krieg siege regiment

Well, I've had my DemolisherBattle Cannon Macharius heavy for about a week now and have been debating wether to tell you guys about it or not. Absolutely f***ing beautiful and a kick a** tank to boot. Although because I cant afford the Siege of Vraks, I use the Vanquisher Macharius rules published on the site... But it scares the crap out of me how deadly being able to fire all that ordinance in one turn works.

Wait... I just realized I've mixed up the battle cannon and demolisher cannon for some reason... sorry for the mistake. And thank you for helping point out my error... And I'll be posting pics asap... *begins to pound head on desk for stupidity* Though now I'm tempted and frightened of a very deadly conversion. edit: Woot. Krieg HQ coming out.

It would be a tempting, if somewhat weak pattern design. Still though, the Macharius is a neat Mammoth / Apocalypse tank in the 40k verse.
