Why didn't you like Chloe, Langley? I wasn't particularly 'whee' about her, but I certainly didn't dislike her. Altena was probably the only character in that series I disliked, and that was mostly because I swear to god she was just making up her plan as she went.
"And now.... umm... Chloe, fetch me a plumber. The candidates must defeat him in... a fishing contest. Yes. That's the ticket. Very important that Noir be able to land a small mouth bass better than a plumber."
"Yes, mother."

Oh, I hated Chloe because of one specific line she had when talking about her fork.
She called it "My most precious treasure"....
And in a very sickening, yet humorously coincidental, "love note" I received from someone that I wish to cut slowly with rusty razor blades and force salt into their wounds, the addressing line was "To my most preciously discovered treasure..."
So when Chloe spouted that drivel, I nearly vomitted on the screen, however my incessant cursing and sputtering of whatever I was drinking stopped that.
Really, up until that very point, I had no problem with Chloe at all. Sure, she was creepy as ********, but hey! More fun. She just picked the wrong words, sadly.
And I'll agree with you on Altena... she was all random and creepy as all kinds of ********.
Not to mention her little spiel at the end there... with the idiot babble trigger happy retard act...
Didnt appreciate that at all. ...

The ending was the sort of ending I've come to expect from shows based off a manga which run out of space... because you have someone jibbering incoherently for about 10 minutes, and then the story ends. Why Noir ended like that is beyond me, as I'm 99% certain there is no Noir manga. "Blah blah blah, to become Noir they must first go on yet another killing spree and kill all of us... blah blah blah... thus freeing them from all connections to the Soldats so that they'll be free to act as they will... blah blah blah... also I'm a crazy b***h... blah blah blah..."

Nope, no Noir manga....
I was disappointed... but like.. maybe there will be some grand OVA or movie to fix that inconclusive and stupid crap.
I was honestly expecting some supreme scheme to unfold, and then I get nothing. Y_Y
T'was still cute tho... I guess...
