[Anthony ~.~ The Black Pearl ~.~ The Brig]

Anthony didn't say anything in response to Dawn. He just frowned and looked away. They had arrived at the brig just as Kyle began speaking. For the most part, the boy was able to keep up with whatever the lengthy teenager said, though things got a bit confusing when he began speaking to himself as he pieced together how this Vexen character obtained information on the group through entities called geists. Though everything made more sense as soon as he explained what exactly these heartless substitutes were.

Once Kyle had finished speaking, Anthony didn't know what he should ask. At the time, the only questions he really had were about the Replicas and the spear-wielder already answered them with his explanation. There were only two other question he needed answer and that were, "Do we know what their plans are and how do we stop them?"

[Alan :: Hawaii :: Village]

Alan could not have felt more awkward. Considering that the village appeared to have survived almost wholly intact, and considering that there was little he could do to help here, Alan felt more like an intruder than anything. Nonetheless, he swallowed his trepidation and approached one of the villagers milling around, chosen entirely at random.

"Excuse me,", he asked, gesturing at the damage that Kyla was already repairing, "Would you mind my asking what happened here?"

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Pearl's Lower Decks ]

"Uhm," Kyle began, his voice sounding dull, faded as Sayrike spoke. He shook his head slightly, though whether it was at her or not was indiscernible. "Yeah, we can... but that won't stop him from directing his thoughts through James. We'd have to, uh... we'd have to tune his voice out, and since his voice is my voice, it would get confusing, something I'm sure he plans to implement."

He brought his hand up to his face and rubbed it straight up, then running his hand through his curly hair. "No idea on their long term plans, but he told us his immediate plans when we were in the brig- wreak havoc on Atlantis and Atlantica. We have a head start because of the Pearl's speed, so that gives us an advantage- time enough to warn them, hopefully."

"Hmm?" the tanned-skin man responded, turning to look at Alan. The man was average in height, about 5'11", but definitely fit, with obvious muscles on his arms and chest. He wore an unbuttoned tropical shirt, revealing most of his front, and had on a simple pair of white shorts. He had been standing outside his little grocery shop, estimating the damage to his building, when Alan came up to him with a question.

"Oh, yeah, those stupid space-planes came and tried to attack the city for, like, the twelth time in the past 4 days. This time, though, they had these strange bird-men on the ground come in and try attacking," he explained, rubbing his chin as he recalled what had happened. "Then those aliens- ah, the Space Council or Police or somethin'- fought'em off, like they always do. We had to fend against the bird-men by ourselves for a bit before the aliens came and helped us on the ground, but it wasn't much to worry about. Still, never seen those bird things before..."

As his voice trailed off, he once again began looking at his building- specifically, the rooftop, hoping to see if there had been any damage.

[Alan :: Hawaii Town Center]

This was interesting. The village had been under attack for a while?

"They've been attacking you? Do you know why?" Perhaps the village had something they wanted. Curious. It was hard to imagine what, though. Maybe Stitch? Alan glanced over at the pint-sized ball of destruction before turning his attention back to his conversation partner.

"No more than anyone else," he said, in the same tone someone might have said 'duh', slowly turning to face the Alan with an eyebrow raised. "Even the aliens don't know- they're just trying to help out, just like they did when Stitch's little cousin-things popped up. Some people thought maybe it had to do with the city on the other side, but when they took a trip over, the same stuff was happening to them... and it was like a ghost town, man, said they couldn't find any adults anywhere."

"Where you from, anyway? Anyone on the island knows all this stuff," he said, crossing his arms with a suspicious look. He eyed the others, with the weapons and... wait, suits? "Oh- oh, you're those rangers! HEY GUYS!" he yelled, suddenly losing his suspicious look and glancing around at some friends down the street. "The Rangers came over to help out!"

The other two men at a separate building a short distance away did a fist pump into the air, smiles on their face while the first man turned to look back at Alan. "Ya, man, we knew you and the aliens were helpin' each other out, but didn't think you'd get a chance to stop by and help! Thanks a ton!"

[Alan :: Hawaii Town Center]

Well, Alan thought to himself, this can go one of two ways. We can pretend to be the Power Rangers and hilarity can ensue (an option he briefly entertained), or we can come clean. He opted for the second one.

Alan crossed his arms, smiled slightly, and assumed a more confident mode of speech. "We're associates. We're a band of rangers from far away. The Power Rangers you've heard of have . . . run into some trouble, and they asked us to help you guys out. They have their own business to take care of. But yeah - we're new here. We don't know too much." Okay, so there were one or two lies in that statement. Still the more honest approach.

Sayrike::The Black Pearl::Lower Decks

Sayrike resisted pursing her lips in a mixture of concern and a hint of ire. Kyle needed rest; he seemed really out of it at the moment. A lot had just happened in the past few hours, and he was keeping everything bottled inside. Sure, he appeared to be functioning well enough (but just barely)...but the things coming from his mouth were not quite helping. In this moment of rest, they needed to be planning, speculating. It needed a clear head. Plus...Sayrike couldn't help but worry about Kyle's mental and physical health. Everyone had a breaking point. Whenever Sayrike saw someone pushing themselves too hard, she just wanted to scold them like a mother and force them to take a break and take better care of themselves. Honestly, how can one expect to take care of others if one couldn't take care of oneself? But the reprimand would have to wait.

The girl continued staring at Kyle, but it was only because she wasn't moving her mouth to talk. Instead, Sayrike communicated through the charm to the others in the room. Well, yes, I can imagine it might get confusing if you two were talking over one another---it'd be confusing if any of us talked over the other one--but if it's in the middle of a battle, how could we be sure it's you, correct? Simple enough. You could either start or end your sentences with a certain code word, or do something else with your speech---speak like Yoda, you could. Ajora, even if he was able to guess that we had devised a way to make sure it wasn't him masquerading as you, would not be able to know out of the infinite possibilities what we had decided upon. The corner of her mouth twitched upward; Sayrike felt like it was most she had said in one go since joining the group.

[Stitch :: Hawaiian Village]
Stitch smiled at the girl when she kneeled down in front of him. He could tell he was going to like this particular group of people. “Village is broken,” Stitch said sadly.

Stitch then looked out of the corner of his large eye and noticed a girl that was drawing something in her book. Stitch looked interested as he crawled quickly over to watch her draw. He was entranced by the fact that the girl could just draw anything and it would appear in the real word.

Stitch decided to poke this girl’s leg as well to get her attention. “Stitch could help fix?” Stitch asked the girl with the special book.

[Dani :: Hawaiian Village]
Dani chuckled at what Bobbi was talking about the U.S. “I didn’t mean Hawaii as in the U.S back home,” Dani admitted to Bobbi, “I meant more of I saw this in a mo-“ Dani then looked at the little blue demon that was clinging to Bobbi’s leg and crawling around in the group. “Man I knew this was familiar,” Dani mentally chastised herself, “Its Lilo and Sitch!”

Refocusing her thoughts on the area around her, Dani focused on a particular conversation between Alan and one of the villagers. She decided that, since she was the one that was trapped on this part of the world, she would try to get into the conversation.

“Hey Alan!” Dani shouted to Alan before running over to him. “There were weird things I saw off in the distance when I was staying in Angel Grove. I couldn’t see them at the time but the space planes seemed to be having a huge air war. Do you think they could be after the aliens perhaps?”

[Amy ; Cloud ; Riku : Hawaii : Village]

Cloud stayed in place for a moment longer before following Leon. His friend was a hard person to read, but if Cloud's guess was any good, he'd say Leon was growing impatient.

"Quickly, if we leave now they won't notice we're gone until it's too late," Cloud said. It was said half in jest.

Amy remembered little of the actual plot of Lelu and Stitch. For that matter, she remember little of the ending of Angel Grove, namely how to defeat Ooze and free the parents from the mind control. The aliens were from Lelu and Stitch... because Stitch was an alien... and... well, the Space Police were probably from that movie, too.

"Not much at all," Amy confirmed. "Do you know which way the bird-men went when they were chased off? Or where they came from originally?"

Riku moved past Kyla, and a little ways into the village's 'central plaza'. There was a well in the center, and bricks fashioned about it in a circular pattern all around. It was a small town, he realized; he could see and hear most everyone. He had only one question.

"Does that path lead to the beach?" he asked, nodding his head in the direction of one of the village's quaint exits.

[Jenny :: Black Pearl :: Sleeping Quarters]

Jenny nodded as best she could as Louis took his leave. She scooted a little to the side so that Noelle could join her if the agromancer wished. The time mage once again fiddled with the hem of her skirt, at least that's what she was doing before she heard Joe squeeze the water in the rag right into his mouth. A brows furrowed in a worried frown as she half reached for the rag. The water had been all across his wound and who knew how clean it was to begin with, to be drinking from it...

"Louis said he'll be right back wi-" Jenny's voice died as Joe removed his eyepatch. The mage cringed at the sight of it and turned away as she felt a pang in her heart. Jenny had always admired his grayish eyes and now there was only one of them. She tried to swallow the guilt and rested her hands back in her lap.

[Alice :: The Dutchman :: Outside Captain's Quarters]

Alice probably would've snickered a day or two ago, but now a thin smile merely accented her otherwise schooled face as Alan retorted. She watched with the least bit of interest as Kuro Oni walked past them both with his snide remark still hanging in the air.

.:Hmph, such a high pedestal he thinks he sits upon~:.

Let him think what he will, those who think themselves to be mighty always fall the hardest. Alice briefly stared into the Captain's Quarters before deciding to spare herself the bad company and walked off with little more than a wave of her hand at Laan. It wasn't the best of welcomings but Alice had a lot of her mind and so she made her way towards the prow of the ship, leaving a wake of gnarled wood behind her.

[The Black Pearl ~ Sleeping Quarters]

Noelle gave Louis a slightly bitter smile as he left, an expression that was gone the instant she walked through the door. She approached cautiously and sat next to Jenny. It wasn't hard to see that she had been crying--Noelle pretty much expected it. It was hard to detatch yourself from something terrible that your replica had done, she knew that all too well. When Joe started scratching at his eye, the agromancer shuddered and cringed, averting her eyes. She wished she could help, heal it some how, but Jenny's magic didn't work, so she figured what little she could do to help wouldn't be enough. With a sigh, Noelle put her hand on Jenny's shoulder in an effort to comfort her.

"You know . . . it's not your fault." She said softly, squeezing her shoulder slightly, "You know that, right?"

[The Flying Dutchman ~ Captain's Quarters]

"Well he was alive when I left." Elleon snorted, crossing her legs and picking at her nails. "But anyway, back to what I'm here for. It would be great if you could do me the favor of, well, doing what you have for pretty much everyone else and forming one of my unversed for me. If you need anything from me I'm sure I would be happy to oblige, just so we're square. Sound good?"

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Pearl's Lower Decks ]

You forget that he is me.

Kyle gave a brief, almost disheartened chuckle shortly after the thought was sent as a response, like Sayrike's, to those in the room. Shaking his head, he leaned it back to stare at the ceiling with sarcastic smile. Fine. I'll play along, but don't be surprised if it doesn't end up helping. Roger roger.

The last part sounded obviously amused, another chuckle coming from his lips.

"Was that all your questions? Figured there'd be more than that," he said, turning his attention to the others now, his arms crossed across his chest and one leg cross around the other as he leaned against the bars.

[ Villager Chosen Entirely At Random #1 : Hawaii : Town Center ]

"'Ey, man, Rangers are Rangers- heck, look at your girl over there! S'like she's magic or psychic or somethin'. Associates or the real thing, it's great to have you guys here," he responded with a grin.

As two young girls (one in her early twenties, one in her teens) came up and asked more questions, he rubbed his chin in thought. "Nah, they ain't after Stitch or his cousins, or the Alien police. They just come in, look to do as much damage as possible, and the leave before they suffer too many losses..."

"They all come from the volcano, girly- and yeah, that leads to the beach," he said, even responding to Riku's question. "Thinkin' of headin' down there myself after I finish checkin' for damages. The surf's killer this time of year, ya know?"
