"Okay," Nathan told them. "Guy with... uhm..." He gave a brief description of Anatoly, since I'm too lazy to go check the profile pages. "Has he been here? He's looking for Karl and he's gonna kill him. I got a few friends around, and we're looking to stop that. Can you direct me to Karl's office or wherever he might be?"

Z frowned at his rebuke but noticed Blaine pass him. He followed to find him threatening Anatoly. He snuck up from behind and attempted to grab him. He kept his eyes closed, anticipating another light attack,

((E-Z, Native screwed up. You guys aren't with Anatoly, so both of you need to edit. Thank you.))
None of the lab techs seemed to recognize Anatoly from his description.

Anatoly entered the room and shut the door behind him. "Are you hurt?" he asked.

Blaine headed up the stairs, past Z as he spoke with the scientists. Blaine asked miscellaneous people where Karl was, doing his best to keep relatively calm about the situation.

((The only one that knows where the offices are is Anatoly. The rest of you are scattered on the stairs and in the labs.))
Anatoly felt a knife on his throat, and a hand grabbed his wrist from behind. "Move, and I gut you," the man behind him murmured.
No one seemed willing to lead Blaine. Word was getting around the building.

"I really hope you're Karl, and I'm not too late," Anatoly stated, his mouth dry. "Would that be the case?"

"They have to extract him," Nathan muttered. Hopefully their car was non-functional - Crash and Anna were both outside. They needed to start monitoring exits, or just watching all the sides, or - oh heck, they needed to hunt him down.
Was there some way to trace them? He really needed these guys' help.
"Listen! The guy I described, he's gonna kill Karl! Do any of you know Karl?! He's gonna be dead! That spike in my stomach, he gave that to me. He's homicidal!"

"C'mon!" Blaine almost begged, "They're going to fricken kill Karl if I donlt get to him first! Just point me in the right direction, please." Blaine said, maintaining his tone and volume so as to not come off as violent.

The scientists near Nathan looked up. One looked alarmed and picked up a phone. No one moved to direct him, but they definitely stayed near him, ready to move.
The phone Karl's office began to ring. "No, I'm not your target," the man growled. "But I know where he is. Come on." He began to pull him back, towards the door. He maintained his grip on his wrist and the knife against his throat.
Those near Blaine began to murmur. One said, "Hey, we haven't see Karl lately. Someone go check." A woman gestured to Blaine and began to walk.

"All right," Anatoly replied hoarsely, moving along with his captor. He applied a layer of ice to his neck in case the man decided to finish him off just to be safe. "Though I wouldn't describe him as a target."

The ice could not get as thick as Anatoly wanted; the blade was already against his skin. "Don't bullshit me," the man sighed. "I'm not stupid. I know who you are, Blazer."

Blaine nodded and followed the woman politely, "Thank you." he said.
