"I know. You don't need to promise me anything. Hell, I don't think you really need to aid me anyway. I owe you one big time." DragonKid looked down, his left hand & eye fully healed now. He then looked down & his primal instincts were about to kick in.
"*sighs through his teeth* Look, I'm shooting off steam & I really shouldn't be here or speaking & it's only a matter of time before I snap." He warned Tara before he removed the bandages from his left eye & wrapping them around both his hands as a UFC fighter would before he put the gloves on.
He then turned away from Tara & went to the river nearby.
How the hell did those dark-elves know of the exact existance of these specific demons? There's something fishy going on & I bet $35 there's a goddamn spy I know about. He thought as he washed the bloodied bandages.
"I was reluctant to trust your kind. Believe me... I've been through 2 tons of hell because of your kind." Sihan answered with a warning.
"However, after the past while, I owe an apology & it was by protecting your kind. Least you aren't aligned with the dark-elves that extinguished my race a full 2.5 decades ago."

Tara let dra go, and turned to see Jethrow doing sign to Sihan... "Hay... Can you teach me how to do that?" SHe needed something to get her mind of of Dra.
Jethrow chuckled. "I have never been a gest anything. Never killed something that did not diserve it, and I'm sure your clan did not diserve it. If I was there I would of helped keep it safe." He signed to Sihan... Then he smiled at Tarren, and nodded. "Sihan... Do you mind helping me teach Tara here to sign as well?"

Zeques stopped and slowly turned to face Rin. His face was serious. "I'm sure you have Rin... They were probably trying to make copies of me, but they don't have that ability yet... Now come on Rin. I want to show you something. And please don't be scared... Your safe here." He turned and walked into a large dark room and disappeared into the darkness. "Even from me..." He whispered to himself.
Kal started to get up but fell back down to one knee, breathing heavily. "Thank goodness." The 2 young men trying to take off the girls collar tried to help Kal up but Kal pushed them away. "Forget about me and get the girl to the infirmary NOW!!!" The 2 young men gently took the little girl from Malic and took her to a special units infirmary to be treated. Kal looked at Malic and then at the Collar he threw on the floor. It was still sending currents of electricity crossed itself. Kal spat at it and threw his knife into it making it stop sending out electricity. He forced himself up and picked up his knife, then the collar. He looked closely at it and squeezed it as tight as he could. "You see why I really hate Dom? He would let this happen even to children, as long as he got some kind of profit out of it! This collar is a new model... I'll have to have Zeques look at it when he's feeling better." Hit placed the knife back into its hidden compartment and looked at Malic.

Rin following Zeques as best she could... She could not stop shaking... "Big Brother... What do you mean Copy's of you?..." She was slightly confused...
Malic let the men take the girl. He got up him self, and walked over to Kal... He took the collar from him, and looked at it him self... then gave it back..."A very new modal... I have not even seen that type yet..." Malic didn't answer Kal's question about Dom... He hated Dom as well... So it was not hard to see why...

Zeques suddenly stopped. "You remember when you said you were like me Rin? Well... That is true, but it isn't true. I would like to find out how much like me you are. I was told you have a hunger." Zeques snapped his fingers and the room lit up from light from crystals and torches. The room looked like a battle field. There were claw marks in the walls and statues of Zeques as he normally looked. But in a dark corner there was one statue that had a mask on its face that appeared to have been reassembled to an almost perfect condition. Zeques slowly turned and looked at Rin smiling but his left eye was black again. "I to have a hunger Rin. I crave blood and flesh, and... something else that I don't talk about to anyone... Not even Kal'buir. You see their are at least 2 different people or creatures inside me. I'm one of those creatures." He looked back at the mask in the dark corner. "The other... Is nothing like me and should not be trusted. He craves power and destruction. He's the main reason that I want to consume blood and flesh. I have different triggers that let him loose, but thanks to my training I can control most of them. For instance If I taste, smell, or feel another perssons blood there is a chance that he could be released. There are other triggers too, such as anger or if I was scared to the point of passing out. There is another but I don't speak of that one either. My training isn't complete so I can't use it to control the one I don't speak about. That is one reason I am alone..." He closed his eyes and pulled out a vial of blood. "I'm going to show you something that only family has seen, so you can't tell anyone and don't be scared." Zeques popped off the cork that was on to vial of blood. Zeques tipped the vial until a drop of blood fell on his hand. He quickly recorked the vial of blood and raised his sleeve to show Rin his whole arm. The blood was absobed into his skin and where the blood had been was a white spot. Suddenly the white spot spread rapidly to the rest of Zeques's arm and hand. His hand became like claws and small spikes came out of his shoulder. He closed his fist causing it to make cracking sounds, then it suddenly shattered into small pieces like bone fragments and fell off. Now his arm and hand was back to normal. "I want to find out what makes you hungry Rin and what you hunger for."
Kal nodded. "I don't like this new model... It has a fail safe system that activates if you try to take it off without the key. The older models basically did the same thing but they were easier to disable. Dom must finally be noticing what we're doing. Hmmmmmm... Alright lad do you need a place to stay or anything? My boys and I need to wait for a report of tomorrows event that we're going to "participate" in and see if we can finish some old business with Dom and his subordinates."

Rin's eyes got wide when she watched what happened to Zeques... She was not scared of him... But then he said he wanted to see her hunger..."I don't like this... I don't want to be bad... What if I hurt you Big Brother...." She was scared.... Of her self...
Malic looked at Kal "We were pretty much going to leave, and go after the next bounty... But I guess staying, and getting a bounty of my own is even better. So... No we have no place to stay." Malic was a bit antsy to get his hands on Baltimoret

Tara was a fast learner. Even though Sihan was a bad teacher... Jethrow pretty much did most of the teaching, and Sihan did a little help. "So that's how you say Welcome?"

Zeques looked at rin with a serious stare but then it soften to a smile. "I'll be alright Rin, trust your big brother. If you don't want to be bad then can you tell me what makes you hungry? Do you ever remember what hasppens when you get hungry?"
Kal slapped Malic on the back. "Excellent! Do all three of you wish to bunk together or do you want separate rooms?"

Rin looked down..."Jethrow said that I like raw meat, and that it's mostly bloody... I get hungry when we go hunting, and I see the dead bleeding Animal... But he would let be eat it before I got to hungry..." She was scared.... Of her self... She nodded, and didn't answer to the 2ent question... She didn't like he story she was told... But if it help Big Brother she will tell him... "The 1st time I got hungry at the village it would not go away... I blacked out.. I thought maybe I passed out... But... Maeve told me I killed Jethrow's childeren, and that I should not be in her house... Because I was a Monster, and a Evil thing, and an Test tube abomination... " Small tears came to her eyes as she remembered what Maeve said... Jethrow's mate... Zeques would not know who she is....
Malic smiled "Us boy's can share a room, but Tabitha needs her own... She would insist on it... Girls.." Malic chuckled.

Zeques was suddenly in front of Rin and he knelt down and hugged her. "Your not evil... your like me. I'm not evil am I? There are always 2 sides to a coin Rin. You other side just needs to be cleaned and polished. One day I'll show you my memories Rin... You'll see why they call me a monster and you'll feel like a regular girl. But the only thing is, Once you've seen what I've done... You'll hate me and want to stay are far away as you can." Tears started to flow from Zeques's eyes.
"Well she seems old enough to not want you to see her in her undies." Kal joked at little. "Lets head back to the arena and see if your brother and sister is still there."
Darman was laying down and was only covered by a trowel. He was about to fall asleep when a girl came in and started giving him a massage. "That's great. I wasn't expecting a massage. What's your name?" The girl didn't say anything So Darman looked up and his eyes wided. "ANYA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" He jumped off the table/bed and almost fell to the ground from the pain of his injuries. "What... What the shabla are you doing?!?!?" She stared at Darman and blushed a little. Darman just shook his head and started to run out of the room, but Anya tripped him making him fall partway out of the room he was in. He looked over at Mordred and yelled. "Hey Mordred! Give me a hand!" Anya grabbed Darmans ankles and yanked him back into the room and put up a barrier.

"Can't say she's slow on her mind. I mean, damn, she is quick to pick up." Sihan laughed, sighing in happiness & continuing the teachings.
"Took me a half decade to master sign, but you Tara, it'd take mere hours... well, granted that you have your hearing & I do not." He facepalms himself after acknowledging his own issues.

Rin hugged, and listened to Zeques. When he asked her if he was evil she looked at him, and shook her head... She listened carefully to what he was saying. She then gasped when he said she would hate him... "Big Brotherno... I would never hate you... If we are the same then I.... I would feel the most close to you... even seeing your badness... You have seen mine... So.. I guess... It makes us even Right?..." She hugged him again... she felt less scared becuse her big brother would help her.... And hopefully she him...
Malic chuckled, and shook his head."She is not body conscious of her own Body to us... She body conscious of ours.... She has hit that age where she notices the other sex, and well. She dose not want to notice us in any way like that." Malic raised his eye brows. "And Kal. I think you need to keep a watch on her with your boy Niner. Me thinks she has a crush on him." He then started to laugh, and patted Kal on the back this time.
Mordred shivered from the touch of the nurses. Then he heard Darman with his own female problems "Heh sorry pale. I'm busy my... Mmmm self... wow... Your hands are like magic..."

Tara smiled, she was proud she new what Sihan just said."wow... Thanks... I've always been a keen observer... I 'm supposed to being an elemental..." She said as much as she could in sign, and Jethrow did the rest.
Jethrow smiled. "Well now Sihan. I think a few more hours, and she will have everything down."

Malic bite his lip, and shook his head. He put up his arms. He just let slip he new Niner was a Merc. But didn't say how. He only guessed Niner was one of Kal's boy's He could be wrong. "Oh nothing. never mind I said anything on that." He also didn't say anything about Tabitha's crush... Becuse if Niner was not really on of Kal's then he should not say.
