Abigail Van Alstine Ms Lois Lane I don't understand what the big drama is about, honestly. Seems a little silly. He asked her why she wasn't Spoiler and why she changed her name a lot. What's the big deal? Whose Spoiler? Just wondering. *Pauses a few moments.* Oh right I think I remember that name coming up like fleetingly.
So do you want to know what he said? Cause I was sitting right next to her having a conversation when it happened? Well how about this, I tell you anyway and you decide if you want to ignore me.
"How long until you try to get a Lantern Ring? Or . . . . like. Wear the S-Shield? I mean, you gotta admit. It's really weird. "
To me that isn't, "Hey, why aren't you spoiler anymore?" And yet that's exactly what it was. Maybe clean your ears out.

::sits down at the bar and rests his hand on his chin::
Sorry to see Lois go, but I mean...I'd really rather an issue be solved by talking rather than violence. Open dialogue instead of opening fire. Maybe that's just because I've been on the wrong end of so many punches.
I think that's where you fundamentally got it wrong though, Guy. Stephanie never threw an identity away. They were taken from her. By men...specifically Batman, in fact, I believe. She never got 'bored' and decided she wasn't Robin any more.
Actually, that is a good question. Do you KNOW why she stopped being Robin?

No, not really. I know the Bat fired her. But the Bat's a jerk to everyone.

Look, *Motions to Piper* He's making a lot of valid points with his talk. I mean, he shouldn't be beating himself over it or nothing. But I was sitting there and watching. Yeah like there were some things that people said that were like totally out of context if you stick to you're original point but there were original points that sounded like they were trying to make.
To me it seemed like you were being a BiD, That's like a bully in denial, and like pushing buttons. You like made a comment about how i wouldn't think you an a** if she called me a poser and like totally started being Necromancer. Which is as silly as like her trying to be a power base she like totally don't have. That wasn't a point, that was like a angry jab at people.

She was brutally tortured so badly by the Black Mask that the doctor treating her faked her death to get her out of the country.
THAT's why she stopped being Robin. Not because she got bored.
I mean, do you see, here? Why asking like that got her upset?

I thought she'd already gone back to Spoiler by that point. I thought Bats got assy about something else.

**sits down next to Hartley**
I had little to no idea what had happened to the girl but it didn't take a telepath to see she was disturbed deeply. Tell me Mister Rathaway, would it help the child if these memories were to be...somewhat buried in her subconscious so that she might move on?

My point is that it's all part and parcel of the same thing for her. You say 'you were bored and dumped this and that identity.' and for her, these were traumatic, huge, painful life-altering events. It's a ragebutton issue. Everyone has one. You pushed it and there wasn't any provocation for it.
That's all I'm saying. If you can come to the understanding that what you said had a very intense, painful feeling for her, and that wasn't your intention, how can you not be sorry for it?

::turns to Emma::
God is my witness, Emma, if anyone around here mindwipes anyone else, I will start getting violent.

Dear had I suggested mind wiping anyone, I would have suggested removing her memories entirely. I was just offering to bury them a bit so that she might begin a healing process. Allow the memories to return gradually so acceptance might be obtained slowly. A psychic surgery if you will.
**holds her hands up**
But if you'd rather not, I certainly do understand but threats were not in order.

Have a look inside my head, Emma, and see what 'psychic surgery' does to someone.

. . . . Fine. Alright. If you can get her to calm down. And keep the PVC freak away from me. I'll apologize.
