It's just part of adulthood, and I'm just along for the ride, I think.
So how has life been treating you? I hear that!
Life's been okay so far. Nothing too bad. Been keeping busy!
Unfortunately I'm gonna be having a lot less fun next year because my boyfriend won't be making as much money as he used to (since he'll hopefully be graduated but no school = no financial aid).
What about you?

What about you? I respect that. Work just kicks my butt and my roommate moved out so I am making all the bills on my own at the moment. It's not easy, but I am just putting the effort in to make it work anyway. What's been keeping you so busy? New hobby or interest?

Even with my boyfriend sharing the costs, I have a lot of bills to pay that are just for me, so I feel like I never have anything to put aside anymore. :c And I've been keeping busy mostly with work, but I've been volunteering with the museum in town. It has an animal department, so I'm a volunteer animal caretaker. Mostly cleaning and getting food together!

It seems like all I do is watch videos on Youtube, lots and LOTS of educational videos. (For example I'm watching this right now, https://youtu.be/dcbgDFpfScY ) I also enjoy watching tiny home videos, even though it's not really my cup of tea, because I still learn a lot of really cool stuff that can be applied in my personal life.

I haven't been keeping up with people lately. Last I knew, you were living with your brother... ninja My brother got a girlfriend and moved in with her, also my cat had cancer and had to be put to sleep. To say it has been a difficult year would be an understatement. I'm sure you can understand, but right now I am engaged in some serious damage control. Other than that, I am just trying to do my best and keep my head above water, as this too shall pass.

It's not easy, but I am managing. The overall goal of the moment is to just keep my head above water and survive the next few big waves coming this way. I'm trying not to think of too much beyond that for now. There's just not enough of me to handle much else. sweatdrop Adulting is hard, and it totally sucks... rolleyes

Watching those kinds of youtube videos is essentially what my boyfriend does in his spare time. It's good for him since it just gives him more knowledge to improve his handiness (he's already pretty handy and I'm not any kind of handy, so that's good!) Hiei Cake Hey, maybe you'll be like the lady who built a house watching youtube videos! I greatly admire that gal, though I'm not nearly as driven as she is, so I kinda doubt I'll be able to actually do that myself. (I'm Lazy) rolleyes So going back to earlier, you said you're a volunteer animal caretaker, what sort of critters are you looking after?

(I'm Lazy) rolleyes So going back to earlier, you said you're a volunteer animal caretaker, what sort of critters are you looking after? Me, too. I'm like, "If she can do it, so can I!" ... I'm not driven or handy enough. emo There are three different categories of animals at the museum: farm, education, and nature trail (aka, the rest). The farm animals are a pig, a cow, two goats, some chickens and a turkey, geese, two sheep, and two mules. Education animals are an opossum, a great horned owl, a barred owl, a red tailed hawk, an armadillo, and two turkeys. There are also some snakes and gators in a building called the Discovery Center. Everything else: two large aviaries (one including a few different types of vultures, hawks, and owls; the other containing two bald eagles). Small aviary has screech owls, a duck, and three turtles. There are enclosures for deer, turkeys, red wolves, river otters, black bears, panthers, bobcats, foxes, and skunks. The keepers take care of the enclosures for the red wolves, river otters, black bears, panthers, bobcats, foxes, and skunks, though. We volunteers just prepare the food. blaugh

Cute or not so cute, they're all pretty dangerous. They've got both wild and domestic turkeys there? Also, raptors! heart I really love birds of prey. 3nodding So what's your favorite animal to feed and/or take care of at the museum?
