Her heart beat fluttered and she reached up to her chest to examin the problem. Closing her eyes she listened intently in her body and heard nothing but the normal rythem comeing from it. Sighing she opened her eyes, unaware of the sadness flooding her eyes. Again the feeling of contemptment flooded her mind, fogging her better judgment as she stared, and her vision started to blur. Blinking herself back to clear sight, she rubbed her head, waiting still for the coffee, it was almost finished now.

As the pot filled, the hissing of the liquid running down to hit the heat from under the pot filled the room. Blinking a bit she stood, and walked around, standing in front of the pot before turning and taking a cup out, setting it down. Picking up the pot of coffee she poured the liquid into the cup, letting is swirl in the dark black color it seemed to be when not water down. Setting the pot back she lifted the cup by the handle, placed it on a small saucer and set the saucer where she could sit. Taking out sugar and a little cup of creamer. Finally getting the little place setting ready for herself she walked back around the bar and took a silent seat, blowing on the coffee to cool it.

Rivers dark eyes held their serious intentions as she picked up the small coffee spoon and placed a few scoops of sugar into the coffee cup. Sturring she promptly smelt the milk she got herself, giving a descusted expression as she set it back down at watched the coffee swirl to a slow stop. The tight feeling returned and her heart again fluttered in excitment. Narrowing her eyes at the feeling she tryed to figured out what she was thinking that made her heart beat do such a thing.

Finding no cause she picked the cup up, bringing it to her lips and sipping on it slowly, the burning feeling she felt being ignored by the sweet taste of sugar and coffee. Letting her eyes iddle over everything else, she closed them. Downing the hot coffee in one breath, leaning her head back a bit to get all the sweet tasting liquid. Finally pulled the cup away, she took a deep breath, the warm burning feeling leaving a tingle in its tracks, her stomach growling in protest to the new sudden fulfullment. Her fingers trembled for a moment, setting the glass back down as she gazed across the room again, staring at all the liqor and strange drinks ahead of her, or the flavorings. The bar served as a colorful reminder of peoples pain.

Asphiel walked in through the back door and crossed his arms and looked at River, "Hello. I see no one is here today. How are you?"

Running a hand through her hair she stood up, gathering her cup and walking around the bar again. Setting the cup in the sink, she reached over gathering the spoon, milk ladle and sugar bowl, placing the milk in the sink and dumping the sugar out before setting the bowl into the sink with the cup. Whipeing her hands she set her gaze on Asphiel and blinked a bit. " No one is ever here anymore. " She retorted with a small sad smile, " I feel alright." She lied through her teeth as her gaze hit the counter. " And yourself Asphiel?" She murmured the question back, waiting in a paitent manner for his answer.

"Good. I got clothes from the demon vil;age so yeah, I'm happy." he walkedto the bar and took a beer, "I guessmost of them are busy with sometings these days to talk."

"....I suppose so.." Fiddling with a wet peice of fabric, she set it on the counter, moving it along to clean up any possible mess she made with the sugar. Watching the circles of water left behind to dry she thought about just small random things she found to have no importnace and her mind's bordom wanted answer. " Asphiel do you know who 'Ghost is?' She turned to look at him with nothing but seriousness in her dark eyes. " I've heard the name once before but, I don't know who that is." She started pausing to watch for any kind of reaction.
"...Oh, And.." she stopped the question more random then the previous one. " ..Do you feel a flutter? in your heart I mean. Like a disturbence?" She asked waiting now for both answers.

"Ghost is the leader of the hunters in this area. She has been hunting all demons and angels for a while now." he put the beer back on the fridge and looked at River a bit confused, "Flutter? I wouldn't know. Why do you ask?"

"..I see.." She said slowly blinking on th information before looking back at him, more confused and sad then usual. " Because, It flutters." She said flatly looking down on herself, placing her hand on her chest." Like, It's fine one moment then the next it's skipping and fluttering, and stuff. " Nodding a bit at her explination she looked back. " It's annoying and I can't figure out what I am thinking when it happens.." She looked back down, gasped and grabbed his hand quickly, setting it on her chest as it spazzed and skipped. " See! You feel it?" She exclaimed." You can even hear it.." She started blinking waiting for a reaction.

"You poor thing," he hugged her and whispered, "Maybe you're in love. But it can't be you told me you hated love." he let hergo and pet her head, "I have to go before the angels start strolling through the area. Take care, River." he waved and walked out the back door.

Her eyes narrowed and her chest lurched at the words he whispered. " Hmph. You leaving isn't a big suprise angel." She remarked crudly waving goodbye to him. " I don't think that's true! By the way.." She grumbled walking back and forth for a moment.
"Ghost..Where can I find you." She said with a small smile of hate, continuing her counter cleaning.
