I don't think "messed up" is quite the word I was thinking of although I do think franchising out "heroing" is a little... unique

But it kinda isn't. I mean, it looks a LOT like the whole Shadowland thing that they have going on in the other universe.
And from what I've heard, that's turning out very, very badly.

Daredevil got a bit too big for his britches, and took over this ninja clan. And now, he's using it to "protect" the people. From this massive castle he built in New York.
He's gone all kinds of crazy. But . . . y'know. When it started out, it SEEMED harmless enough.

What Bruce is doing seems to be a bit different from what Daredevil is doing though. Also, we've got plenty of heroes that can keep a wary eye on the situation.
