*Brings out a pair of wine glasses and a bottle.*
No more than ever before. Just reconfigured, I suppose.

Well, I'm sure this new Nexus venture of yours has you reeling just a bit. It's a lot to take in

*Pours Lois a glass and hands it to her.*
It's an ideal time, really. With Luthor on his heels and no sign of Loki since his shenanigans, we won't have to face the uphill struggle of setting up in a hostile environment.

::she nods::
Right. It's just.. I wonder how the Nexus heroes will react to there being "Batman franchises"

*Pours himself a glass and sits down opposite Lois.*
You really never stop working, do you? *Chuckles.*
I'm sure that not everyone will be thrilled, but I'm not a politician. Of course the Nexus location isn't for recruiting. It's for maintaining a presence and hopefully a springboard into worlds that aren't even aware of me yet.

Officially, my day ended at 5, but you can't blame a girl for being curious.

Journalism to me is like saving people is to Clark. Ugh.. I wonder how long this walk of his is going to continue...

*Drinks his wine, thinking.*
As strange as this walk of his might seem, it's important to him and I'm going to respect that.

Of course. I am too. I just hate when he's away so long. Hopefully, it won't last as long as the New Krypton saga

I think it'll be good for him. He spends so much time putting everyone else ahead of himself that it'll be good to be alone with his own thoughts for a while. Of course if you need anything at all while he's gone Alfred and I are at your disposal.

Thanks, Bruce. I appreciate it. I know this is good for Clark. He'd seemed.. I don't know.. conflicted maybe? I'm hoping this clears his head. I can't even imagine being a hero.. doing things like you guys do.

No, but think about all the times that you've saved lives with the written word or protected Clark and I from exposure. It doesn't matter how you do it or what you wear while you're doing it, Lois. You're every bit the hero that Clark or I ever have been or will be.
