Travis heard nothing for the longest time as he stood there focused on the ground below him as people walked by and stared. He had wondered if it was just him hearing something, perhaps it was all a mistake, but the negative energy that was in that specific area was still there. For hours he stood yet got nothing else, Travis was puzzled and thats how he left the subway. He couldnt continue to think about it, he played it off...

Travis entered the subway, shinigami followed. Travis knew right where the spot was, as if he stood there the entire time. He walked toward the tracks, right close to the edge, and looked down while he pointed...
"It was here, but I dont feel it anymore... Im certain it was here, my memory doesnt fail me. If it did come from under the subway, there is no way to find out, which means someone got there a supernatural way or something was trapped down there. If something indeed was down there, theres no way to find out. The energy is gone, leading me to believe that whatever is down there is gone. Perhaps there is a new evil walking the streets, released from whatever prison it was in." Travis focused but received nothing, it was gone...

Jagger leaped into the subway,silently.Keeping her hood on,she followed Travis's scent until she saw the two looking down at what seemed to be some sort of hole.She stayed quiet and moved into a shadow.This is pointless he's just going to hear your thoughts and know you're here..she told herself.

Travis smirked and averted his attention from Shinigami to the dark area of the subway...
"If you know im going to know your here then why do you hide Miss Jagger?"

Shinigami followed Travis down the steps of the subway, and further into it. Once they stopped. Shinigami could smell whatever it was that Travis had been so obsessed over.
With a snap of his fingers, his human appearance dissolved away into shadow-like dust, revealing his half human state: Black, medium length unkempt hair, with dark eyes, as well as markings of Hell all over his body on the areas visible through the black hellish cloth that was wrapped around his body. The odd thing about Shinigami however, was not any of this. It was a gas-mask like covering on his mouth only, that was connected directly into his chest by a tube. This was used to properly circulate his power, so that he would not be able to transform into his full demonic form. Black, transparent angel wings protruded from his back, identifying him as one of the original Fallen, that fell with Lucifer. Shinigami was more or less a harvester of souls, thus the name, 'Shinigami', the name the Japanese gave him which was similar to American culture's 'Grim Reaper'. Shinigami was Lucifer's assistant, and carried out his plans for him on the surface world.
Shinigami's eyes narrowed, as he knelt down, and ran his fingers across the ground where Travis said he heard the malicious voice.
"Void. This wreaks of the Void." He stood up, and turned to Travis.
"There are select few who gain the abilities of the Void, a dark entity that engulfs the users soul, allowing them to harness its shadowy power. I've only seen Vampire's that were able to survive the process of becoming attuned with the Void, so my guess is that our friend is a Vampire that you felt."
Shinigami, turned with narrowed eyes, to the voice of the female Vampire that had followed them into the Subway.
"Friend of yours?" He asked, turning to Travis.

Of course.Jagger walked out of the darkness."I thought I'd test my luck."she said with a smile,her red eyes and fangs glowing in the shadow of her hood.

Travis watched as shinigami changed, it was an interesting sight indeed for he had never seen a demon take form. When shinigami told him it was void Travis understood now why it was so dark and full of pain...
"That explains everything, the energy, how he got down there...he must have little control over the darkness of the void because it seems as if he was the one giving off the painful energy and the voice that I heard was the void..." Travis eased his mind, he wouldnt have to be confused anymore over something that didnt involve him. He had originally thought there was trouble. Travis then turned to Jagger who emerged out of the shadows and chuckled...
"Testing your luck with a psychic vampire is probably not the best way to test your luck..." Travis greeted her and turned to Shinigami again...
"Yes I guess you can say that, we just recently had met, under odd terms....I thank you very much for easing my mind, now that it is solved I dont have to worry about someone being in peril below the subway floor." Travis chuckled..."I know we didnt get off on the right foot, i know your a demon and your motives are dark, but as i have said before...we are all of dark nature, we are all going to hell..."

Jagger shrugged."It was worth a try."She took off her hood.She smiled at Shinigami."So,what's bothering you two?"she asked with wonder.

Shinigami nodded silently as Travis explained that he now had an eased mind. He glanced up at him slowly.
"Well, we can safely assume one of two things: Either the Vampire died, because he was not strong enough to deal with the Void, or he managed to conquer the Void, which would result in many things my fanged friend. Indeed, you may want to be on your guard. A Void using Vampire is not to be taken lightly... I am assuming that the Vampire lived, because I would know if something had died here recently. No, whatever you felt down there is alive, and loose in the city. Be on your guard. the Void is something that even I cannot fully understand... It did not come from Hell, I can assure you that."
He glanced over at the vampire girl as Travis spoke to her, expecting Travis to answer her question as well. Shinigami preferred to be silent in most encounters. He did not speak unless there was a reason for speaking.
He then looked back at Travis, replying to his final words.
"Indeed, it seems as though we did start out on the wrong foot. I rather like your way of thinking, my psychic friend." He said this with a chuckle, as he held out his hand, to shake the Vampires hand. It had seemed as though the Demon made an unlikely friend this night.

Jagger tensed.She began to feel hot all over her body."The Void?You can't be serious."she said with a laugh as she took of her cloak.

Shinigami looked over at Jagger as she spoke.
"And what would you know, exactly, about the Void? You have not felt its dark embrace, nor would you be strong enough to become one with it. So tell me, what is it that makes you think you know of the void?" Shinigami was the type to not give a damn about the way he acted. He was a Fallen. These things were little more than trivial to him.

Jagger sighed."You'd be surprised.No,I do not know much about it,but I've heard of it.An old friend of mine knows much more than I do,though."she said ignoring the demon's rudeness.
