I haven't given him free roam of the entire citadel. I am not so easily trusting of new arrivals. He has not severed all ties with his old allegiances. The recent interlopers seem to have the common ground of coming from the dojo that Thanatos often resides at

The Dojo? Thanatos... I hope-- They wouldn't hurt him would they?! Does he know of these attacks from that place, upon us here?!

That is why I do not allow him access to more secretive matters. *He shakes his head lightly* I do not believe Thanatos knows of the attacks yet. *He groans in distaste for a moment* Thanatos has many comrades there, but there are those who would exploit his relation to me to gain an upper hand. That is also why I, for the most part, dissapprove of his presence there. However, it is Thanatos's choice to remain.... and he is aware of both the tension between this citadel and the dojo and the possibility of them using him.

*Nana looks up to Mastema's face for a moment when he groans. Hearing that didn't make it any easier on Nana's mind. Now her thoughts where flooded with worry over this Dojo using Thanatos as a hostage*

*Mastema brings the arm he had around Nana up and rests his hand lightly on her forehead* As many as there are whom would use Thanatos as a bargaining chip, there are those who truly are loyal to him. He remains there for those souls.... not the others.

*He chuckles lightly* Quite so. If it eases your mind, perhaps you should speak with Thanatos about his allegiance to the dojo. It would appear he will be returning here soon. He should be here by the afternoon of today.

I am sure he will be fine. I believe he's come this time for a reason.... but I do not know what that reason is.

I had this book sent up from the library the other day. It's helping me to understand what types of energy can be accepted by the core of the citadel. Mastema... I want our home to be a strong one... and so I've decided I want to try and feed the core more energy. However... It seems I first need to practice, and learn a new kind of power before I can.
