Enki Leviathan ((FYI, Maxi. No one knows that Enki is Leviathan. The necklace only glows when Leviathan is nearby. Though, given Enki's appearence, if Shou sees the blue d00d and the necklace is glowing, he'll probably make the connection XP)) *Enki kneels down before the water, gently dipping his hand into it. He honestly isn't sure what he is trying to accomplish by this, but it's better then not doing anything at all*
Well... not exactly being a marine biologist or anything, I guess I should see if anything happens to my hand, huh?((Are you sure about that? I seem to remember a very very famous Gaian' figure owner a huge stadium known internationally walking into a coffee shop. And then strangely, he never left. But this big water creature appeared a creature called The Leviathan. Later the creature left, but still no famous figure....And the figures name? Enki Leviathan. Now I for one have heard Enki several times in the Stadium being called "Latent". Now isnt it funny that this town that worships The Leviathan...is named so shockingly similar to Enki...? Normally probably no one would stare at the details, but a shocking visit from the Leviathan....Yes, people start looking a bit harder. Imagine if jesus appeared and denounced Christianity, it would be the talk of the town for years! Scientists would be researching the mans claims. Heck! Enki Transformed right in the middle of the cafe because of the green smoke! That secret is about as feasible as Clark Kents glasses and slight change in hair style.)) ::The water sat in Enki's hand, like any water should. Scientifically nothing seemed wrong with it, but for someone who should be attuned with the sea, it was very very off. His problem was proving it. The sea was a mixture of both unhappy, and angry. Why was it being allowed to be invaded? You wouldnt like it someone kept picking peices of you out and performing tests on you. Or sticking things through your skin to get pieces of you below and eating them. They were invaders. Enki was not an invader, but thus the angry vibe he was getting. He was a gaurdian...but these oceans were NOT safe.::

"Really!?" Shou questioned her excitedly, unaware of all the religious drama behind this moment. He accepted the necklace happily, grasping it gently in his left hand as she explained its function. This had worked out so -well-! He'd be able to find and maybe even track Enki--- getting an idea of what sort of state the guardian was in and prepare his magic accordingly.
"Wow, that's great! Thank you!" he responded quite light-heartedly, but soon became a playful sort of serious. With a flourish, he'd bow low, taking the girl's right hand in his and kissing the back of it in a rather gallant manner, briefly entertaining her game of Princess.
"M'lady." Then, grinning, he'd make his escape, jogging off while putting the necklace over his head and 'round his neck.
It was a rather stylish trinket after all.

I had forgotten about a majority of that little RP thing... but Enki Leviathan the idea is internationally known.. the person is not, though. Remember, ever since OPENING the stadium, I'm kinda kept Enki's identity on the DL. And dude! That whole "Latent" thing, total coincidence and you know it! And again... you're an a** XP But a ******** intelligent a**)) *Enki just kinda sits there at the waters edge, pondering this for a moment. They spent so much time watching the water and testing the water. There was still one little tiny thing not checked. Enki leaves the shore and walks to the dock and watches as the little silver fish attack the boats and pier. Enki's eues glow again, capturing one of the fish mid-air just like last time, using the residual water flitting off their scales as a sort of "net" to hold them where they are. Enki quickly brings the fish with the little jets on it over to the portable science station*

Scenery, that which was pleasent to the eye. For a while the man could only gaze at the small huts about, the few farmers here and there with their crops of sorts that held an unfamiliar sight to his knowledge. However, the deeper his travels took him within this odd community, he noticed it was not as quiet as he thought, but in fact a magnificent town of splender in the far ahead ventures. He seemed almost disappointed in the fact that most of the pleasentness was far from the desired location he wished to explore, but such was life in the state of a traveler.
He stood somewhat tall at his full length of 6'2, his auburn hair rustling lightly about his patched eye which held the scar that dwindled beneath it so easily. His frame was hidden within the confinds of his dull gray shirt which hung loosely about his body along with the set of baggy black pants that hid the fibers of his legs beneath. However, two pieces of clothing held tight to his body, the tight black gloves of thin fabric and the studded black collar about his neck. Aside from these aspects of his appearance, the final apparent feature would be that of his katana which held ever so loosely upon his left side, though it seems not to have been drawn for quite some time.
"Ah, dear friend, it seems that another venture pries beneath us, for the shades and colors of this ravishing town are as foriegn to my ears as the words you may or may not understand bumbling from my lips." He spoke to the coal-colored kitten resting lightly upon its position on his master's head with a kind, theatrical tone as his fingers clasped lightly about the creature's fur. "Let us see what promises lie ahead."

(( xp I do what I can. )) Enki Leviathan Enki's eues glow again, captur-- ::Incorrect. If it was just so easy to catch the fish any water abuser in the area could have snagged on. It was once but as theory that arcana is nothing more than the science of another plane of existance. These nanites came from an android, that android came from the future...such science was mapped, as even in modern day Gaia said sciences have been partially mapped. Enki focused on the water, and fish manuevered right away from the effected water, this continued. Should Enki try several fish, or just one or two fishes. And while Enki was busy playing with fishes...  A local whale would perform a lovely splash so as to cover him with water. Yes, every drop of the water was entirely clean, and free from any anomlies. Normally Enki probably had a sense that warned him, or informed him when ocean creatures were nearby...that sense said nothing. These creatures just didnt ping. The splash would be seen by the people of Latent on the shore as hilarious! But in truth...it was a warning shot. As if to say with a smile "We dont like you. You can stop us, if you couldnt track a whale...what other...bigger...things cant you track?" Perhaps Enki would remember his house....in the ocean....unguarded...:: ---- Your welcome!:: Oh she was tickled pink. She giggled, and got all pretend formal as she curtsied having absolutely NO idea what she had just done. She was just all excited that she could tell all the other little girls that she wasnt Priestess anymore so she could play with them now! In her mind, she had just done a good deed, and freed herself. All was well in the world! Shouyin jogged off, and she skipped off leaving the Priests confused, but finally they decided to follow the necklace and went jogging after Shouyin, begging for him to stop, and wait, and here them out. Something about not knowing the power he held, and what not. But in the distance...past a few people, beyond a building and behind a car. Sat a table with an umbrella outside a small cafe, and on a seat staring out at the ocean, and at a man who just got splashed....was her. The woman from earlier. Looking as if she was as commonplace as ever, and again managing to dodge everyones glances...::

((I'm timing this just before the undead invasion of Yaits City))
Dr. Orderly was too busy putting calls forward to Ymiristani research bases, everything was busy. News came to him of the sickness of Edward Yaits III, which had thrown the nation into a degree of political chaos. It was yet to be determined if they could send a team to recover the submarine from Latent, an embarrasing predicament. He was told to work with whatever resources were at his disposal to gather information to send to HQ, which would be processed in the labs.
"It looks like I'm on my own for now,"
Just then, Enki was splashed, and it didn't seem his fishing expedition did anything more than cause some mild frustation.
"I know this is frustrating, but I swear I'll find the answer, once we know what is happening, it will be the first step in solving this mystery. The Ymiristani government has agreed to finance my plan. The best they can do is send a few Gaits, research equiped, up from Barthavos, along with a few crawler transports. My other option is to go to the western port, and take a boat, but I think travel by sea is far too risky given the nature of my mission. I'm going to the coasts of the Northernlands."

A bird flew overhead, silently observing the city with its sharp senses. No one would notice from this high up that the eagle was looking for something or someone specific- it simply circled high above the walls and houses as if making a thorough search of the city before going any further down.

Shouyin frowned and turned to look back, slowing down and coming to a halt when he figured the clergy wasn't gonna give up on him. Sad how they'd just left the girl behind though, helped to reinforce some of the half-golem's prejudices against those devout religious fellows. When they got within a reasonable distance and would thus be capable of hearing him talk in a level tone he responded to their cries.
"With all the s**t I've got right now this thing seems pretty innocent, did the girl not tell me something?"
He cocked a brow as he said the last part, doubting the younging's capacity for dishonesty.

Taking in the musings of the large buildings that toward overhead, the man almost lost sight of what he initially came here for, knowing the depths of trade and bartering at only a minut depth from rumors and such. These towers, in the eyes of a small town villager, seemed to scrape the very skies themselves with their magnificance, leaving his curious gaze to gather about in random directions every now and then simply for the pleasure of seeing them.
Soon, after the long daze of the buildings lay at their rest, he finally built the proper amount of thought to return his findings to the town square, more appropriately, the marketing center of gaia. Steps came rhythmicly, unconciously, almost as though certain systems have left him without the capacity to think for a short time, leaving him simply with the ability to gawk and simple trinkets from seemingly foriegn lands in which he gazed upon with distant eyes.
"Ah," He would say simply as his gaze fixated upon the botonic sections of the market. "A pleasent scent would do nicely dear friend, as long as the colors reflect its true intents." Glorious glimmers in his eye and a smile would form from his kind tone as though nothing would change the tune of his moment. "Now... to pick the proper pluck."

*Enki was now slightly worried. Not only could he not feel the whale approaching, but he also could not feel the large mass parting the waters to "attack" him. Enki stands and does not even bother to try to use how power to remove the water from his clothes, knowing it probably wouldn't work much at this point He turns back to the scientist with a sigh*
Well... I'm out of ideas...

Poison was constantly being dumped into the ocean from that foul portion of the continent, and he figured if this phenomenon was anything like it was in Latent, this plankton would be constantly working to clean it up.

::The whale simply drifted off back to sea, amazingly managing to NOT get beached on shore. There was a very good reason why, but no one seemed to be trying to find it out. And the ocean definately wasnt telling. It had heard the mans plans, but he mentioned places and borders...the ocean had no borders. It didnt know countries, just threats. Just as the threat here was believedly avoided before serious drastic measures need be taken.::

IC: "Why would you wanna keep close to a guy who didn't 'choose' you?" Shouyin frowned. "And I don't want you guys following me, I'll just give you the thing back when I'm done."
Not like they'll need it then though.
Before they could argue the point however, Shou would turn and walk away down the shoreline.

S'right there.)) ::The two men were utterly disheartened...they lost the necklace and the connection to their god. Moping, and looking rather depressed and emo, they started the walk of shame back to the temple. The shore ahead of Shouyin was likely mostly empty. Silvery fish had chased away most visitors, but the benches and tables were still very much there. But despite the vacant shore, the towns people were busy at work nearby trying to remove a submarine from a local house. The sight had attracted quite a crowd. A distance away it seemed some odd man was being splashed by the shore by a rather huge wave. And looking on from one of the nearby benches with a black umbrella over her head sat that woman. It was amazing how she was able to vanish into a crowd, and yet for someone like Shouyin she stood out so well, and she was quite amused with the various attempts being made on the water.::
