AlidasDragonriders *takes one of her larger daggers and cuts away at certain vines and using magic to right the stone pillar that had fallen, listening to the sounds of their bickering and the grinding of the Hgruphnuriks' teeth on excess vegetation, pulling up the rotting reed mats and brushing the dead leaves and twigs from the floor, squinting at something in the dirt(or is it a stone floor?) eek * Hey guys come look at this!! *motions wildly and points at a strange symbol etched into the ground, looking at Myth curiously* And why the heck are you working with that bandana over your eyes?...(Idea pop...... The symbol kinda looks like this: ¥ and ¤ ok?) ((Stone, this is a really nice temple..... biggrin )

*smiles and nods, pointing at the symbol* Alright, I just thought it would be easier and faster just for that part.... And what do you think it is? Hmm...... It almost looks like....... *her claws trace the symbol, feeling and inspecting it* This etching looks familiar..... It seems it is a- a button..... What do you think will happen if I press it?......

*Cat goes back to cleaning vines off the temple, hanging like a fruit bat from some posts protruding from the roof, hacking at the vines with one of her new machetes.*

"sense testing," he replied, feeling and listening his way into the temple. inside he feels the texts and inscriptions. painting a mental image of the area.

*chuckles and balances herself, poised to jump back as her claw pushes the sign downward, eyes and ears flicking every way possible as she slowly backs away* Well, taking a risk on this thing is better than me plagued by the curiousity of what it would have done rather than let it be..... You- *cuts off as the entire area begins to shake and rumble, a large plate of stone that was once an open pond just beyond the covered area cracking loose, falling downwards about an inch and sliding slowly out of sight, a large polished marble statue swirling gratingly up through the new opening*
(Hold on, damn trash..... stare )

*jumps away and crouches on all fours, tail rigid and hackles raised as the ground begins to calm and stop* ....... Hmmm?........ *Pulls Myth's blindfold off and points, where the large hole had been now stands a large fifteen-foot marble carving of a white, winged Horolf, a strange creature of both wolf and horse bloodlines, sitting proudly in a royal, guarding way, wings outspread and curling* What in the - ?.......
( sweatdrop Sorry, I couldn't think of anything much more impressive at the moment..... sweatdrop And you do know I'm still a fox from last night.. Right? sweatdrop )

" stumbles a little, and takes off the blind fold. what's her problem... he to goes to see the strange statue, as well as admire the rest of the temple which he had not seen.

*stands and paces around the statue, examining it with the upmost curiousity, using her tail to brush away a layer of dust from a place that appears to have once been writing* I'm not sure........ I haven't seen a creature like this in years.... And this one is winged, which makes it even more puzzling....... Don't worry, I am sure this is nothing dangerous..... And it doesn't seem as though it made anything else perilous... Hello? What is this? ....... *reads the worn, faded writing as best she can, which in turn directs her to another hidden trigger* Stay back....... *her claw taps the trigger again and watches for anything carefully, twitching backwards in a jerk as the statue's eyes begin to glow*
(Ok, just wondering..... And dramatic pauses, I love 'em!! whee )

"well...it looks like marble, feels like marble... must be marble. but why so intricately hidden?" he grabbed his notebook, and made a quick sketch of the statue.
