*suppresses rage and jealousy* gonk But still, seeing Punk'ems in his last scheduled RoH appearance defending his title will be like the reason I live! Plus AJ's going to be there and Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe and Austin Aries and the one person my pop'll recognize, Mick Foley. And Jamie Noble also revived himself as...JAMIE GIBSON~!

Twilight Tokyo Rose

*thwaps DF* Yes, yes, we all go off talking about our significant other(s) once in a while, but keep it PG-13, man!

More like "Keep it real." Sorry I couldn't help it. Sue me.

Anyway, this new bed is pretty comfortable. I go to sleep in it in less than ten minute, which is pretty good since I usually end up trying to sleep for about an hour and end up failing. I also end up waking up earlier because my sleep is that good. Usually I drag on until 11AM. This time I wake up at around 8:45 AM. My new house just needs cable and I'm fine. Except for the whole human interaction thing. I live about twenty minutes away from my old place. Bah.

Random dissection of the wrestling world:
Alright, I've been a wrestling fan for a little over a year now. I was hooked on WWE and started downloading videos from RoH and TNA to "broaden my horizons". Truthfully I knew wrestling was fake but it was still exciting because I didn't know who was going to win, why, etc. I didn't even know what predictability was because I didn't know much about what happened in past shows. I was a mark. Then I missed a few shows and decided to browse online for website. Sure enough I found those sites and ended up reading up and slowly discovering the backstage politics of wrestling and all of the terms. Imagine that. At that moment I slowly transgressed into a smark. But what I realize right now is this, a mark is blissfully unaware of the crap backstage and spoilers. This keeps the excitement going and the predictability at an all time low. Now a smark is aware of many things backstage and know of spoilers. This destroys the excitement and increases the predictability of future events. Sure this leaves people open to appreciating the finer things such as pure wrestling, but it really takes away from something. That excitement and feeling of a mark. I'm sure fantastice moves and technical grapplling is something many seem to enjoy, but nothing can measure the feeling of a mark. Which is why I come to the conclusion that being a mark is sometimes much better than being a smark.

What else can I address? There's not much of a difference between a mark and a smark besides the level. Let's face it, marks are sheep of whatever wrestling federation they watch while smarks are sheep to whatever wrestling website they read. But in my opinion, smarks are just glorified marks. Knowing backstage news and spoilers does not make you smart though. It makes you informed, but not smart. For you see, wrestling websites manipulate the mind and anything written is easily believable. Does this not make you a wrestling website mark? And another thing, doesn't it get tiring just reading things off of websites? Why not simply view the show once in a while without spoilers and backstage news? You may find that regardless of what you see, there's a mark in you.

You see, regardless of what I hear about Cena sucking and Batista not having charisma, it's always great to see them actually come out and perform. I appreciate the business no matter how low it gets you see. No matter how bad the brand or how horrible the wrestling, I can appreciate that those wrestlers are out there risking a lot just to entertain. Sure the WWE isn't so great a product, but within my boredom of writing this article and my boredom of just laying down and counting the bumps on my ceiling, I can't help but actually enjoy watching it. That's because it gives me things to think about and can sometimes spark some inspiration because great things can come out of the worst. Much like how the phoenix destroys itself only to be reborn from its own ashes.

Anyway, that's all I can think of in an improptu manner. I guess I'll start on my match and promo now.

Salutations from the combat ace.

P.S.
Remember, mark or smark, you're still sheepish.

For those who may be interested here is Samoa Joe vs. Necro Butcher from IWA:

http://s4.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0BK5JTVCPRWCS1IXJ50EONY3RE

I'm not sure how long it will be up so I would DL it ASAP, but it's a pretty cool match. (And I'm far from a fan of Necro.) Also, here is your warning that if you don't like blood or are squeamish don't watch it, but otherwise enjoy and maybe even give your thoughts on it.

Forgot to add if you like this then please support IWA-MS by buying some DVDs or videos. I wouldn't normally plug like this, but IWA like many other indies are far from big companies with lots of money and they really do need the money from DVD sales to support themselves.
