Sabrina's nose was running now and she had to excuse herself to go to the restroom. She soon finished up and approached the table. "I won't be trying anything with 'sabi' in it" she told Timothy. She had to regain her composure as she looked back at him. "Unfortunately no, I've never had kids. I've always wanted them but I became a herald at a young age, before then, I was doing missionary work for the church" she told him. She had finished her last roll as she looked at Timothy and smiled. "This was enjoyable....minus the burning sensation" she said with a giggle that turned into an awkward silence.

Erin kept up her pace walking next to Viktor. She was quiet and listened patiently as he spoke. She could understand his nervousness around the rest of the team though as she had also been new to the Night Owls once along with her sister. She smiled gently at Viktor. "Don't worry. It gets easier with time." she replied simply before he asked her about her owl abilities. Blinking slightly, Erin glanced over at Viktor, then looked forward again. She didn't know if she should tell him about the telepathy part of her powers, but she was definitely comfortable telling him about the other one. "It might sound weird to you, but please don't get too scared of it. I can actually manipulate blood if you can believe it." she answered at a low volume so no one else but she and Viktor would be able to hear it. "It's part of the reason why my eyes look like they do."

One second Kate felt herself walking down the pathway closer to the Square and the next she was jolted to a stop when Che grabbed her left hand. She turned around a little to face the grinning Che, glaring a little bit. But before she could really tell him off for stopping her, he was already pulling her body closer to his. A frown appeared on her lips as she listened to what he had to say. She was about to give a retort when the unexpected happened: Che kissed her. Blinking once or twice, Kate's eyes widened in surprise. She could feel her cheeks getting warm because she was blushing. This was definitely not something that Kate had planned on.

When Che pulled away, Kate knew her face was quite red at that point. She only prayed that Che wouldn't notice right away so she could try to contain the effect Che's behavior had had on her just now. She had to force herself not to sigh in relief when Che closed his eyes because hopefully this would buy her time to make herself stop blushing. She didn't want Che to see her in a moment of weakness and make fun of her for it. Nothing would mortify her more than having Che laugh at her for blushing. His suggestion of actually slapping him was a good way to get herself to calm down for a moment or two, and that was actually her first instinct. But for some reason, she just couldn't bring herself to actually do it. Maybe it was because she felt comfortable where she was at the moment. Or maybe it was because she was still in too much shock to do anything. Whatever it was, Kate knew she had to at least say something. "Have you finally lost what little presence of mind you have left, Che Presidiomini?" she asked softly, reaching her free hand up to gently place on the side Che's face. "What could someone like you possibly find in someone like myself to want? All I am is nothing that you could be looking for..."

Lorna wasn't worried too much about Raven. She knew that their leader could handle herself quite well. "Well if they attack, I'm sure Raven will determine whether or not they can fight." There weren't many who could stand up against the Shockwave Owl and live to tell the tale. Turning to Soliel, she nodded and began to walk away accompanied by her Magma lover. As much as she wanted to ask questions, she also wanted to enjoy her time in Rome before they were all forced to get back to work in this worldwide war. "You look nice," Lorna complimented Soliel allowing her silver eyes to roam across the suit that he was wearing. Despite the cold weather and the short dress that Lorna wore, she wasn't the least bit cold at all. Even before she had been joined by Soliel, she still could not feel the bite of the cool weather. Turning to her crimson eyed lover, she smirked. "You know, you definitely owe me for being so scarce," she said in a mischievous tone of voice. "So now, how are you going to atone for your sins?" she asked playfully.

Roulin could feel Cecilia's emotions. The negativity of them was unsettling, but this was the girl he loved with every fiber of his being. Among her emotions, he could sense indignation, possibly the most prominent one of them all. Roulin now realized that his anti-human sentiments...weren't him. They weren't what he was fighting for and what he said wasn't right. The young owl took the azure beauty into his arms and held her tightly as she writhed with anger. Smoothing her long, silky white hair, he said to her softly, "It'll be alright...they weren't anything anyway. They deserve what they got...if anything, I could feel them getting mad when they saw you had a good life with us." To cheer up the girl and lighten the mood, he wore a smile. A false one, but a jovial one nonetheless. After today, he'd need to go over somethings with both himself, Lucien, Amara and Che. After this war was over, he wanted to be close to all of them forever. Looking down into the tear-filled eyes of his girlfriend, he spoke, "It's getting late...do you want to head back to the room? Maybe learn the hotel's layout before tomorrow?"

~~~
"Maybe you should try something with 'yaki' in it. Like Teriyaki. I promise you, it's only as spicy as you want it." Timothy made his way back to his chair where he sat before pushing away a few silver reluctant strands of hair. Becoming a Herald wasn't a good process for any of the current elemental rulers. Especially for Timothy. He didn't invite Sabrina to lunch with him to talk about himself though. After she giggled, Timothy broke the silence by saying, "Some people are into that...pain I guess. It depends on how much you use. Anyway, becoming a Herald was something a lot of us weren't ready for. Sadly, when we leave this, we die for only this job prolongs our life...hmm. Quite a sad existence unless you have good teammates and friends huh? Tell me, how was it working for the church Sabrina? And were there many rules you had to follow?"
~~~

Che could see the red against Kate's cheeks. His eyebrow raised when he noticed the blush. Contrary to popular belief, the gatekeeper was human and could even show her emotions like one. After her hand slowly fell onto his cheek in a light pat, the Italian grinned and said, "Ow.....alot lighter than I expected." After saying that, he found his hand across her's and a grin curving the edge of his lips. Obviously, she was as flustered as he was. His kiss was spontaneous which to Che was more than just strange. Even he would admit that his most random actions were planned, but for the most part, that wasn't. Maybe by his heart, but definitely not by his mind. Not that Kate had broken the silence with a jeer and an inquiry, Che attempted to form words that would explain both his actions and why he wanted the girl to be around.

"You know, I can honestly say I've lost my mind a long time ago....besides the point. Like I told you before, you're far more than you think you are, though why you continue to sandbag yourself I'll never understand," said Che as he rested his right hand against her still warm cheek. "Whether it's a weird form of self-hurting modesty or lethargy I don't care. I want from you what you should want from yourself. You're full of energy and life and although many of us would beg to differ, I think you just haven't found the drive to show it. For most people, that drive is affection...hopefully I'm making sense to you Kate. If not, you're an exquisitely smart person. You'll figure it out soon if you haven't by now..."

~~~
"You look nice as well my dear." Soliel replied to Lorna who was now by his side again. He hadn't been around much every since he entered Italy, but now that his search for clothing was finished, he could return to the both her and team. His blond hair was finally cut and only extended to the nape of his neck. His red eyes sparkled in sun like rubies and when he activated his power to warm his electric lover, they grew more vibrant. "Oh, I'm sure. In what way will I pay you back? To be fair, I think you should decide that...all I ask is that you include something to eat and something drink. I've expended myself shopping and coincidentally, saving our kind from not-so-amiable humans."
~~~

"Whoa, hold on Aeon, let me get that...." Moli's figured appeared in the area next to Aeon. Thanks to mastery over color now, he kept his photons dark so that he wouldn't be seen as easily. The girl had just scolded herself with a bit of hot coffee. Moli's concern was still great, but his grin only told the girl that the mistake was commonplace. "Oh wow....I take you've been bored in good old Italia huh? Most people are out walking and not surfing the net. If they are, it's on their phone baby," the blonde joked with his projector girlfriend.

Nikolai smiled lightly at Anya as she scowled and drooped her head again before saying, "Well this is having the opposite effect that I wanted... I was hoping to see a smile, instead I get a grimace. I didn't think I kissed that badly." Nik chuckled and tightened his arm around her slightly, in a sort of one armed hug. He lifted her head up to his again and smiled serene;y at her, moving his sunglasses off his eyes, even though it was a very bright and sunny day outside. He stared into her green eyes for a moment before saying quietly, "Just once, I'd like you to give me a genuine smile. You're always either frowning, or just have a blank expression, and when you do smile, it seems forced... A single real smile is all I'm asking." He leaned forward and kissed her again, still just as gentle as before, but this kiss didn't last as long, as he pulled away after a few seconds, smiling lightly, "Come on, just one smile Anya."

Sabrina listened to what Timothy had to say. She was through with the subject of sushi and trying new things, she had enough for one day. When he asked her what she did for the church, her memories rushed back to so many years ago. "Well, both of my parents were missionaries and traveled a lot. I had an older brother, he was an OWL too but they beleived that he was touche by Satan....anyways, working for the church was pretty great, I loved what I did, I helped people, and cared for them how Jesus cared for others. But you guessed right, there were a lot of rules, and based off my appearance I'm breaking a million and five of them right now" she said with a sigh. When he mentioned death after they were no longer heralds, Sabrina was sort of sad...she honestly never had a life...not that she regretted or questioned things...but in her eyes...life was never a thing she had control over.

"No, Italy has been great. I didn't feel too well earlier, but I'm alright now, just came down to get a fresh cup of coffee and do some internet surfing" she said to her boyfriend. "In fact I was just thinking about you" she said as she planted a small kiss on his lips. Moli was so considerate of her and it made her feel more secure than words could express. What have you been up to anyways?" she asked out of curiosity.

Amara remained on the bench as everyone had left. Had they forgotten about her? She took out her phone and began to surf the web, looking at things to do around Italy as well as baby websites. She did wonder what she would have. She really wanted a boy...maybe because she had a sister, and secretly longed for a brother as well. She rubbed her stomach as she pushed herself up, stretching. It was getting late and she would need to leave soon.

Cecilia's tears poured forth dampening Roulin's most likely expensive shirt. Her entire body trembled with both anger and sadness as her boyfriend ran his fingers through her silver tresses and spoke comforting words to her. She lifted her head to allow her glistening and saddened jade green eyes to stare up into his comforting amethyst eyes. Seeing his smile, she wiped away the tears that were willing to be cleaned from her features and nodded before she stepped away and walked into the hotel knowing that Roulin would follow her. The employee who was working the nightshift in the lobby was deeply immersed in a phone call with someone who was clearly trying to reserve a room here so he did not see Cecilia's saddened features. Their room was just a few floors up in one of the suites. Taking the elevator, they soon reached the floor where their room was. Approaching the door to the room, she pulled her keycard from her post and used it to unlock the door and push it open. Because she had been to many clothing stores, there were at least two more shopping bags on the floor in the room placed in the corner out of the way. Walking towards the bed, she sat down at the edge and began to remove her shoes, her long silver tresses moving over her shoulders in a curtain hiding her features.

Lorna thought for a moment, very content that he'd asked her instead of choosing himself. Even though she didn't want to admit it, she too, was very much starving. She looked towards him with a light smile. "It seems your day was a bit more eventful than mine. I did a little bit of shopping, but that's about it. I didn't run into any trouble really." She walked for a few minutes longer before stopping in front of what seemed to be a rather nice restaurant. "Would this be all right with you?" she asked curiously. The smell coming from inside the restaurant almost made the Polaris Owl weak at the knees. It felt like it had been forever since she'd had a delicious hot meal.

Kate shook her head slowly at the first thing out Che's mouth. "That was not supposed to be a slap, Che..." she stated gently. Though, Che did give an expected answer to Kate's first question. She had guessed he might say something along those lines. Sighing in response to Che's little speech to her, Kate took her hand away from his face and closed her eyes. By this point, her face was no longer flushed. "Sandbag myself, eh?" she asked no one in particular. "There is a reason for that... That is because up until this point in time no one in my life had cared enough to say anything other than I was nothing or could not do anything. When one hears it so many times throughout their life like I have, one begins to believe it to be the truth themselves." With that, Kate became the one to step back from Che, breaking their embrace. At the same time, Kate found herself wishing that she hadn't made him let go of her. But what was done could not be undone now, so she turned her back to Che. Again, Kate found herself thinking that she should say something else, but she couldn't find any words to say anything with.

Anya's tiny frown remained on her face as Nik basically laughed a little bit at her reaction. Though she did look back at Nik when he moved her head back up. She wanted to look back down at the ground, but she couldn't bring herself to look away. It wasn't very often that the dancing owl removed his sunglasses, especially in the middle of a sunny day like today. So Anya was a bit concerned for Nikolai in that regard as she knew about his sensitivity to light, and her expression changed a little bit to reflect that. "Nik, please--" Before she could really begin her sentence, Anya was interrupted when Nikolai leaned forward and placed another kiss on her lips. The poison owl blinked again in surprise and leaned back afterward. The blush on her face was back again, and this time she reacted out of flustered instinct by giving Nikolai a shove with both her hands against his shoulders. "S-Stop doing that! It's embarrassing..."

Che was a smart man and some would argue that it was his intelligence that sat him on the narrow threshold between just that and insanity. Che, of course, would admit his insanity before he called himself intelligent. Regardless, he could see through Kate's words and her crystal clear logic. If one is taught that they are nothing, then eventually, they'll believe such. The saddened expression that Che wore didn't come from that though. It stemmed from the effort that he would have to put in to remedy her thinking. He'd been trying for a year and a half. No need to stop now right?

Catching up the the melancholy guardian of the gate again, Che made his place beside her walking backwards. "Umm...well now...that would explain quite a bit, but still, I don't think you're trying to enjoy yourself Kate my dear. We're in Italy---I take that back because you were on your way to the Sistine Chapel...you know what I'm getting at though. We care about you! I do and I hope Moli at least appreciates what you did for him. I sure as hell do," preached the bushy haired man to the somber woman. "You're not useless, you're not weak. You guard the gate to the otherworld or whatever it's called....how about this. A kiss from me on behalf of everyone that we work with? Will that keep you with us for just a few more weeks?"

~~~
Roulin's first move was sitting on the bed and kicking off his shoes. Thanks to the heavy meal that himself, his brother and his father had put away, the young man was rather tired. From there, he fell back in relaxation and his hat rolled onto the other side of the bed. Through tired, slitted eyes, he could see Cecilia's back turned to him. He hoped that soon, she'd return to normal. He could feel her sadness, but he did his best to not let it over take him. The owl sat up and scooted over to his girlfriend, then leaned against her. Until she was back to normal, Roulin would sit by her side in waiting. It was only around six, so he had all day to wait lovingly by her side.
~~~

"You know, I remember you telling me about that. The day you drugged my breakfast..." Timothy said with no ill will. Instead, he smiled, devoured another sushi roll, then looked back at the emerald tinted woman. "I thank you for that. It shows me that I have to be coerced into relaxing to actually relax. As for your religious past, don't worry about it. The only thing that matters now is that you're here and still sustaining yourself. Also, you look nice today Sabrina. I'm sure nuns everywhere secretly wish they could dress as liberally as you do."

~~~
"I've been up to eating...and that's pretty much it honestly," said Moli as he sheepishly placed a hand behind his head. In reality, he'd been shopping at about three different stores and even got Aeon a few things. Being the kind boyfriend that he was though, he wasn't going to tell her now. He wanted her to be surprised by the new dresses, rings and shoes he'd gathered up for his love. "Coffee huh? I haven't had a good cup of joe in a while. Is this place any good, or is it just another Starbucks clone?"
~~~

"I've gotten into at least three fights today all for the same reason. Conversely, I've had to kill three people today." Soliel remarked with an almost uncaring tone. The Magma Owl didn't enjoy bringing death to those in opposition to him and his people, but if it had to be done, it would be taken out with a stoic emotionless fervor. Looking over to the electric user, her grinned when she suggested a plan. In his stone heart, there was a soft spot for this girl now, so sincerely, he wished to apologize for his absence. "Yeah, this is perfect Lorna...you know, it's been more than seven years since I've had cuisine from the surface world...maybe it'll be a better experience with you here eh?"
PostPosted: Mon Oct 10, 2011 3:13 am

Cecilia managed to get her shoes off just as Roulin leaned against her. She remembered that he could sense the emotions of other people and realized that her sadness was most likely making him uncomfortable. She smiled through her sadness. "I'm sorry. I forgot how much this is probably affecting you emotionally as well." She knew that she could not waste her whole life being sad over one event. Moving her hair to one side and smoothing it with her fingers, she spoke again. "I guess deep within the recesses of my heart and mind, I hoped that one day I would meet my parents and that they would welcome me back into their lives with open arms. But I know now that such a thing is not possible. I suppose the best thing for me to do is to move on." She knelt down again and reached into her purse and pulled out her wallet. Opening it, she gazed briefly at the picture of her mother and father before her eyes moved to another photograph. This one was of an old man and woman both with gray hair. Even though time had aged them both, they both showed signs of being very attractive a long time ago. In between them was a young girl who was about five or six years old. She seemed to have a very cheerful disposition about her with azure skin, silver curls tied up in pigtails and wide jade green eyes that appeared to gleam cheerfully in the picture. Cecilia smiled softly at the picture. One part of her felt like she should tear the picture of her parents up because of what they had done. But another part of her could not erase such a memory. She placed her wallet back into her purse before she rested her head against Roulin's shoulder. "Thank you. Thank you for being by my side during all of this. If you hadn't been there I-I think I might have killed them without even a second thought." She turned her head slightly and kissed him tenderly upon the cheek.

Lorna shook her head. Even though it could not be avoided at times, the Polaris Owl was surprised that Soliel spoke of killing these three people in an uncaring tone. "I'm not too sure how I feel about that, but I'm sure you had a perfectly good reason for it," she said scowling lightly at him before that scowl changed into a cheerful smile as she took his hand and pulled him forth into the restaurant. "I can't remember the last time I even had a hot meal. I got so used to just living off of snack foods and stuff like that, I pretty much forgot what real food tastes like." The hostess showed them towards their table after receiving a cold glare from Lorna for staring at Soliel for a bit too long. They were each handed a menu and given a small bit of privacy in order to converse and decide on what they wanted to order. Lorna looked up at Soliel from her menu, which she had already started perusing. She had grown very fond of him. She hoped in her heart that he felt the same way as well.

((TFP---Raven))

Raven remained silent when two of her team members joined the brief meeting that seemed to be taking place outside. She needn’t say anything because the husband and wife combo had smoothly dealt with Lorna’s and Soliel’s questions with perfect ease. She watched the second couple depart and turned her attention back to Sebastian and Evalynne. “Well, you have now met two members of my humble team. I am sure you will meet the others in time.” She said with a slight smile. “Well now, I no longer have anything to say nor to add on the matter. What about you two? Is there anything else you require from me?” After all was said and done, Raven was merely return to her hotel room and go through a few documents, check in on New Exire and speak with an Owl from South America. Apart from that her day was free and open.

((TFP---Serena))

Serena while indulging in her meal repeatedly checked her phone for messages. There was the occasional message from old clients and even a joke message courtesy of Daryle. Still, there was no word from Kojiro. “Damn it…Where is that kid..” Neglecting to finish the rest of her food, the Vanishing Owl stood up and got Cerbs to shrink back down and hide in her phone once more. She left the restaurant and stepped outside. The heat was not as bad as it was in the morning or midday. Right now it was more bearable for the Silver haired woman to walk around in. “If I was a Frozen Owl….where would I be…” She stepped forwards and began searching the busy town for her little lost kitten. Ok, maybe he was not quite a kitten and perhaps he was not lost. But, Serena was not about to sit back in case he was lost or in trouble. He was not the brightest of people when it came to trusting others. Hell, he put his trust in Serena….Hell knows who else he would trust.

((UNS---Will; Another post at the request of Scyther))

Dressed in a fine black suit that cost around the same price of a small car, Will left his vineyard and ventured into town. As usual it seemed that everyone was far too busy with everyday crap to even think about the current situation. Already Will had passed by numerous members of each team who seemed far too carefree and relaxed despite the trouble that was brewing on the horizon. Despite that Will was already suspecting certain people who seemed to be trying to move as secretly as possible and trying to get by unnoticed “Hm, toys trying to have a mind of their own are more fun.” The Satan Owl smirked to himself as he moved through the bustling crowds of the city. “I suppose there are those who are biding their time. Still, waiting is rather dull…”

It was not long before Will picked up a familiar presence...make that two beings. He grinned and made his way closer towards a person he was somewhat fond of. “Oh? And what do we have here?” It seemed the blonde haired devils earlier assumption about Che was pretty much correct. His student was indeed chasing around a woman and had failed in finding a normal person for he was in fact flirting with Kate, the emotionless guardian of the gate to the spirit world. This was too much of a grand opportunity to miss and so, Will made his move. Nothing like messing with his student from time to time…

"Hmm? Ah, what is this I hear? You're making her feel embarrassed, Cheani. You want her around for longer than that, don't you?" Will said with a grin on his face that hinted towards his current mischievous mood…perhaps mischievous was not the right word here. He patted Che on the back nice and firm before moving onto the next part of what he had recently heard Che say “Oh…offering out kisses out to keep people around?” Will smiled “Ah, thanks.” And without a moment’s hesitation or a care for what the others may think, Will promptly placed a kiss on Che’s cheek. “Ah, there is no need to fret, Cheani. I won’t be leaving you anytime soon.”
PostPosted: Mon Oct 10, 2011 2:59 pm

Even as Che caught up to her and fell into step beside her as she walked, Kate did not turn to look at him. When she heard the last things he said, Kate couldn't help it but feel embarrassed once again. Another blush tinted her cheeks at his suggestion. "I-I do not --" She was about to reply to Che after he had finished preaching to her. However, the abrupt appearance and intrusion of Will DeScythe interrupted her. Her eyes narrowed in irritation. "William DeScythe, you ублюдок." she said aloud, dropping back into her native Russian language in her rising annoyance from Will's mere presence. The Eternity Owl placed herself between Will and Che. "Независимо от того, что вы делаете, это полностью из строки, вы безумные ебу-дерьмо. Я должен вырезать ваши внутренности и заставить вас смотреть, как они растворяются в кислой до царапать ваши глаза и кормления их на трусливых собак ада. Но опять же, может быть, что вы на самом деле предпочитают мужской части человечества к женской стороне? Может быть, именно по этой причине мисс Аня Ньютон презирает вас так много. Она насквозь вижу ваши фигня." As she basically cursed her lungs out at Will, Kate began poking the Satan Owl in the chest with her index finger... hard. She was just so ticked off right now, Kate was not able to control her mouth and her anger at the moment. Besides, someone had to put the Satan Owl in his place for once. Who knew if Will could actually understand Russian given how well-traveled he was. But Kate didn't really care what happened next after this.

When she had finished with that, Kate glared at Will before reverting back to regular English. "At least Che has more class than you will ever have." she finished calmly after planting a vicious slap across Will's face, which would probably leave small scratch marks from her nails as well. That said, Kate spun on her heel and started walking away from Will. It was up to Che whether he wanted to still be around her now that she had just gotten so angry in front of him.

(( Translations:

1: ублюдок -- "b*****d"
2: The really long one -- "Whatever it is that you are doing is completely out of line, you insane f***s***. I should scoop out your entrails and make you watch as they are dissolved in acid before clawing out your eyes and feeding them to your cowardly hell hounds. But then again, could it be that you actually prefer the masculine part of humanity to the feminine side? Maybe that is the reason Miss Anya Newton despises you so much. She can see right through your b***s***."

Nikolai continued smiling even when Anya shoved him back a bit. It wasn't a hard shove, closer to a playful shove than an actual shove intended to harm. Nik laughed lightly and replied, "Well, maybe if you would just smile like a regular person I might stop." Nik righted himself on the bench again, having tilted when Anya shoved him. He turned away from Anya and put his sunglasses back down so he could see more than just bright light. He continued to smile and said, "Well, that went better than I hoped... So, now you know how I feel... I suppose a normal person would leave you alone too think about this so..." Nik let his sentence trail and stood up from the bench, stretching his arms above his head and sighing before turning to face Anya. "I'll see you back at the hotel then." Nik said with a smile, waving to Anya once before walking off towards their hotel room, hitting the play button on his MP3 player and began dancing his way back to the hotel in time with the music that was playing, as though nothing weird or awkward or out of the ordinary had just happened, even though something that was all of those things had happened.

Surely, Che was now having fun with Kate, the gatekeeper who had until just now kept her emotions under wraps. When the woman's cheeks reddened once more into a rubicund blush, the mastering owl too blushed, but a grin managed to shroud it. The moment seemed to be working in Che's favor finally and to capitalize once again, he started to reach for Kate's hand...then Che's greatest friend appeared. With haste, he made himself known to both the Owls.

After receiving Will's kiss, Che's expressing broke into a stone glare that pierced the buildings miles down the road. Kate walked around Che to Will and in her native language, she began to curse the devilman with the fervor of a christian. When she finally got back around to speaking in english, the italian's smirk half returned. Finally, he turned to face Will and shook his head. The man was neither angry or mad, but rather he was amused at the blonde's actions. "Guess you heard that...I have more class than you. Did you sense all this love over here, or did you just randomly find us? And Kate, do you still want to go to the Sistine Chapel? I haven't seen good art since......well those marks on Will's face are quite interesting."

"Oh no, I'm fine. If anything, it's just making my skin itch is all...no worries." Roulin amiably replied to the azure beauty by his side. As much as Roulin hated to admit it, that was the first step to her becoming a stronger person. The fifteen years before this moment were nothing compared to the thirty minutes which had just taken place. Allowing his eyes to drift to his closed hands which were between his thighs, the young man sighed. If it weren't for her, he may have killed her parents without a second though...they had more than they knew in common. "You're a better person for not killing them Cecilia. I want you to know that...they killed you a long time ago. No need to become like them right?" Roulin reasoned. After Cecilia kissed him, he grinned, the blushed like a small child. In the back of his mind, he knew that he needed her and that she needed him. Little did either of them know, the time to test that was right around the corner...

"Hey...do you want to go walk about the hotel? Or just around town...after a nap?" Roulin asked after his stomach growled from fullness and his bones creaked from fatigue. "After a nap, I think I'll be up for just about anything. I promise."

Soliel slicked his shining blonde hair back as he went over the menu time and time again. There was much to order from the restaurant, but finding just what to get was a chore. Drink was decided, but alot of food items were on the same level. "Yeah, tell me about it. For a while, I had to live like a vagrant. The life of an activist huh? Living by the will of those I work with." The magma owl eyes continuously exchanged glances with a few people who were near. They hadn't seen a man with naturally red eyes before. This brought a smirk to the owl's lips and it even tempted him to show his abilities. That would have to wait until tomorrow though. "Well now, how've you been as of lately Lorna? I hear you all have managed to blend it well here in Italia."

Cecilia brushed her silver tresses off of her shoulder allowing her hair to settle down her back, the tips lightly touching her waist. She lifted her hands up a few inches and stared at her palms. "I didn't want to stain my hands with anymore blood," she said before allowing her arms to drop back down into her lap. She thought for a moment on what she wanted to do. "Well, I kind of do want to try out that indoor pool they have here. I haven't been swimming in so long. So maybe we can do that after our nap." It was apparent by her expression that she was emotionally exhausted. She leaned back and allowed herself to lay across the full length of the comfortable hotel bed, her hair fanned out above her head. She turned her head and looked up at Roulin, smiling lightly. She loved him with every fiber of her being. She had a feeling that no matter what challenges they were forced to face, he would always be by her side and she would always be by his. Stretching her entire body, she allowed her arms to rest above her. She wished that everyday could be like this, minus the run in with her parents of course. Perhaps after the war, it would be like this.

Lorna looked up at Soliel. She had already decided on her food and drink. It had been a hard decision of course as everything seemed very much delicious. "I've been all right I guess," she said. "As for blending in, it's not really that hard. This is a very beautiful city, but one day I'd like to visit my hometown again. I guess you can say I'm a little homesick," she said with a small smile. It was then the waiter came by and took their drink orders. He seemed to be staring at Lorna. But Lorna, seeing that he was human narrowed her eyes at him in an expression that clearly said, Don't even think about it, buddy. The waiter turned away intelligent enough to realize that Lorna was not someone to mess with. Lorna ordered their Pasta Special and her drink before closing her menu and sliding it over in the waiter's direction before she waited for Soliel to place his order as well.
