Maggie started, rising immediately to take Layla's non-bladed hand in her own. Her eyes were deep and haunted... Maggie's soul seemed to often be a reflection of the soul she was interacting with. Her eyes were now very clear, very unreadable. Very solemn, and very knowing. Her mind was completely returned to its former sense of clarity, and she was no longer in pain or fear. She was... whole.

Her voice, once gone through a series of accents, was now back to the normal voice she preferred to employ. "Non-existence is the coward's way out," she said quietly, refusing to let go of the other's hand. "Help me right the wrong I have unleashed. I can't give up - there are people out there, for me. And neither can you... that's never been you, before, has it, Layla? Would Kira or Damien, both your friends, even though you betrayed them - would either of them want this of you? I doubt for a second that either stopped loving you - even in death."

There Maggie went again with her strange ability to sense names and important information. Was it physical contact that sparked this? Or, possibly, soul-reading, as Maggie had done with Layla to become more clarified in mind and body.

"Help me, Layla."

The huge, purple entity was still inside of its gray sphere of influence. It seemed hesitant to move out of said sphere, however, instead of becoming frustrated, it actually began basking in the amount of Novias energy being raised.

The gray sphere of influence began steadily growing in size and diameter.

The psychogeist began steadily growing in size and power.

For the time being, however, it stood silently, as if the entity was contemplating things. Possibly... perhaps... Maggie's emotional state was leaking through? No, impossible, probably just a tactical ploy....

((Those were erased even as you typed that jesting post. Can't p***k my armor of pride!!! Of course, that's because I have no pride... v_v

rofl anyway. Yeah, I'm a little tired of posting, too. Maybe I'll go wash those dishes that I started... and didn't finish... heh heh... xD))

((Yaah... uhm... and you actually junk your posts if they sound like crap? Wow... unless it's, you know, REALLY bad, I do nothing of the sort. Spontaneous creativity... ya, I'm like that.... *feels dead as well* uhrrr....))

((Hm. Probably explains why your posts are better than most of my crappy stuff. HM... yeah... I just type spur-of-the-moment and go with it. >< XD))

((I suppose so, but all things considered, you seem to have a more elaborate, well-thought-out plot than I do. I just go with it, and my plot isn't really very solid or anything.

Plus, I think of my ideas during school. An idea, like brilliance, will just pop into my head during class or while I'm walking home. It'll be like a light bulb turns on above my head. AHA!

...Anyway. If we just sit around complementing each other, we'll both waste space and get nowhere fast, huh? xD))

Layla shut her eyes in concentration, she suddenly threw her blade up towards her life strand on the grid, a bright light flashed, then she gradually began to ascend towards the web above. "You should know by now... I'm one selfish b***h." Layla said to Maggie rather jokingly, just before letting go of her ally completely. Layla's body gradually began fade into particles of golden and crimson energy, rejoining with the Novias stream. The very last remnants of Layla's existence faded into the web above.


All was still and silent, a gentle breeze washed over the hauntingly empty planet. The winds of change. The columns of Novias energy began to sink back down into the planet, the web pulled itself apart in a graceful manner, then returned to it's natural flow of the stream. Armagedas seemed to have vanished in thin air, Layla truly HAD disappeared.

Off in the distance of the golden city ahead could be seen someone standing, watching the Novias stream with great curiosity. It was a young woman standing amongst the nothingness, her hair was a dark blackish-blue shade, her eyes were a turquoise color. Her face showed that of true kindness, but she also looked rather lost at the moment. Only one name could truly fit this person; Kira. She reached up towards a small strand of energy, gently waving her fingers through it. Kira looked over towards Maggie just briefly, then went off on her way into the abandoned city.


((Yeah, I know, "WTF? How did SHE come back!?" -I'll explain that soon. And Layla isn't permanently gone, just for a little while. ;D))

"What did I miss?" (((I am no longer a general, just security.)))
