srsly this is really cool. Everyone should participate. Perhaps we could make this have it's own topic to make it more easily noticed by people? And then we could post the results in the topic?

I have to agree-- this is a neat idea! I think a separate thread might be best too, just to help keep things kinda organized. :3
And, maybe we could have this be an annual or semi-annual kinda thing? Just a thought.~

Well I figured art is nice. Even if you aren't good you can always do some sort of msn paint thing or whatever. Besides Keegan needs more fanart.

How about everyone gets a consolation prize of fan art, their (main) character and a pokemon of their choice. And the winner gets a fan art drawn of all their characters, if they have multipe (we most of us do) as well as their entire team (limited to six for those who have a million and a half pokemon)? Or somethign like that.

That doesn't really work though Crenu. Those characters are competing against each other, not us, just the characters we rp as. We need to think of something for the winner. Maybe a rare item or a few levels or something plus the fan art? Maybe we make a big fancy badge for them and put it on their character profile?

You're making no sense but whatever. The fact that they're competing in a popularity contest means that the prize should stay at something like art. You don't wanna give someone something nice in game for just sitting there. And sure their post styles and what not go into this too, and those posts are hard work, but should someone receive an "edge" with levels or a rare item just cause they have more experience writing than a newer person? Though getting a badge made for them to put on their profile works too. It's not my decision in the end so do whatever you want, but my opinion is that the prizes shouldn't be something in the rp.

Crazily enough, I agree with Crenu. The winner should be showered in glorious fan art. Everyone else should get one as a consolation prize.

I'm a mite confused. Does that mean that every single player in the roleplay is drawing an image for every single character that is participating in this tournament? That's upwards of over a dozen pictures from each member, which is a pretty hefty commitment as not everyone is an artist, or has the time to devote to that many pictures.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

I meant one piece per character. That way, each person has at least 1 piece of fan art for their character(s).

I realize I didn't explain it well yesterday. What I mean was if you are the winner of your round you draw the person you beat. I know we aren't all artists but hey even if it was drawn using basic shape tools in mspaint or sketched and taken a picture of by your phone, we can all try to do that. Anyway whoever is the winner at the end gets everyone in the rp to draw them as winners prize. Of course they will also get a cool badge/ribbon like the one we are all totally jealous of on Riza's profile.
Basically if you win you draw who you beat. In the end we all draw the winner.
That make more sense?
