I've already come to realize that I'm not going to make everybody happy with the way that I play my character. He's a psychic, he shoots INVISIBLE PSI WAVES ALL PEW PEW like. When it comes to armed opponents, why SHOULDN'T he use his own weapons to his advantage? Me having him abandon his strengths in a fight would make him seem egotistical too, in my eyes. Instead of trying to best somebody in their own field, he'd prefer to best them in the field that he knows best.

You say that I didn't take enough hits and you got frustrated. You did all of two attacks... hell, you barely posted for the duration of the entire week. He didn't even see the pin's thing you did, I simply had him change the trajectory of his attack at the last second (though I admit, I wish that I hadn't done that.) The last sword to the eyes thing, well, I'll say I regret doing that as well - there is a time and a place to test different avenues of power combination. Even in the fight with Rachel I didn't have him seeing everything that was happening unless he was specially focusing on it, or attacking himself.

Entering this tournament isn't about winning fights for me, it's more about having nice, fluffy stuff to put into Damon's history. This character is going to have a lineage. That's pretty much the only reason I roleplay in any event. I don't need gold.

I've never had a difficult problem taking hits - but it also goes against my character to just take them for no good reason whatsoever.

Like I said above, I know I can't please everybody.

I said nothing about him dropping his powers. You're kind of...thinking I'm only talking about our fight. I'm not trying to insult you dude. Just talking here.

In our fight, I was frustrated because we weren't fighting. When I was hopeful with the blade arm thing-he launched another ******** wave. There's a reason arrows and guns aren't usually wanted in tournaments-and that's both because claiming what hits and what was dodged gets shaky-and because they aren't really something you can FIGHT against. I'm not saying you made a bad call or did something stupid-I'm saying it wasn't something I could fight against, because long range attacks really AREN'T. I have my pins, sure-but notice, when they don't hit, okay, they don't hit, end of pins?

I'm not continuously launching the ********, something that can't really be fought against, because they're LONG RANGE weapons. That's the point.

Arian got fed up, bloodthirsty lady that she is-and she walked. And I didn't think she should get a win when she walked out in temperament. Nor did I want to be holding stuff up because a damned judge was having a personal life or what have you, and didn't decide on it.

We tied, I tossed it to you, where it might have gone anyway-and that's the end of the story. Not knocking, not pointing fingers, was merely stating what I thought on your character, in rather 'I think this' 'I feel this' terms, not that your character IS anything, or ISN'T anything, because that's none of my ******** business to decide for you.

Anyway. This is too much dramatic bullshit for me, forgive my ranting.

*Stretches* And yeah, it did happen in HoH. Bustah Wolf surrendered IC, and at the time I was frustrated with that-and now I understand and feel bad for being frustrated with him.

Anyway-don't throw us together like that either. I am not Rachel and Rachel is not me.

I stated my piece. We're all here to learn. You can look at what I'm saying and think -"No, she's off the mark" And that's cool. You can look at what Rachel is saying and think "Yeah, she's off the mark too." And that is also cool.

Or you can look at it and think-"Well, maybe." Or "I'll have to look hard at that to learn from it." And it's all good, we'll never know-and I personally, don't care either way. I like feed back. I want to learn where my strengths are-and where I need work.

If no one ever said anything-then none of us would ever improve.

As for where I'm going with things-I'm going to lobby, to get ourselves some snacks.

To be fair, Reinhart (the guy at the Volcano) was being an absolute d**k, I read through his posts.

That was actually more Reinhart's fault than Damon's, as I recall. He didn't take losing to my team very well at all, and seemed to have decided to say "******** having fun" and try to force a win against Lu-Bu by any means necessary.
