Jadens mind snapped up to a protective stance but more of food than friends. "Lay off or we see how well you suck blood with no jaw." he snarled skidding closer to Fate. "Vampires shouldn't play with their food, thats what wolfs do."

Fate stood there gaping, not knowing what else to do. Another chill ran down her spine, this time causing chill bumps. "Listen you two, I'm going to head home. As in, away from here." She, yet again, turned on her heel. "Have fun duking it out." Too bad I finished off that flask.. She was still a little lightheaded, but she had enough sense to walk away right then. "Evening."

Jaden snarls at Fate and refuses to look at the other vampire. "Why do you want to leave?" he asked her, his ears laying flat on his head. "Don't you ever think about it? You must at some point little girl."

Fate could feel the tension in the air. Frustration was being emitted from Jaden like smoke from a forest fire. She stopped in her tracks and turned back slightly. She chose to plead the fifth on the first question. "I have thought about it once. Once is all.." Her pale skin blushed. "..And I am old enough, thank you." Fate was young, true, but she was intellectual beyond her years. Was she the only one that understood that? Sensual relationships were one of the few things she couldn't explain from lack of encounters.

Jaws snapping and a flick of the tail to ignore the other vampire. Had Fate had been around him longer she might have seen the similaritys between Jadens current mindset and that of his twisted brother. "Why does such a pretty pure thing marinate herself in liquer?" he asked

Fate blushed. Jaden knew she was pure. He also knew she'd been drinking. In an instant, her expression changed. "That is none of your business!" She scowled at the two. "Perhaps I enjoy the buzz, have you considered that?" Her eyes flickered and she hissed. "Mind your own." Fate turned and continued to walk, cracking her knuckles in her own frustration.

"THAT is totally uncalled for!" She shuddered at the Vamp behind them. The words went in one ear and out the other..Fate chose not to let them stick. Ugh..
Fate scowled at the thought. He was doing this on purpose, so she did her best to keep it from bothering her any further. "The hunter who kept me locked me inside her apartment until I was ten or so." Fate refused to look at Jaden. "In any case, that is disturbing." She rounded a corner, the familiar complex coming into view. "Do you plan on following me home?" So steriotypical..puppies.
